"It's really okay!"

Temari spoke firmly, her voice steady. "It's fine because I've had enough of everything back home."

She exhaled deeply before adding, "This is a good chance for me to take a breather and relax."

Her reasons weren't shallow. Temari's life had been far from easy. Her mother had passed away early, her father was cold and distant, her second brother obsessed with his puppetry studies, and her third brother... well, he was a complete madman.

Growing up in such an environment had weighed heavily on her.

Naruto, on the other hand, didn't expect Temari to agree so readily. Tilting his head in confusion, he asked, "Temari, are you sure you understand what I meant?"

Her lips trembled slightly, but she quickly replied, "I understand, Naruto. I've decided... but there should be two rooms."

She looked a little awkward as she continued, "We've only known each other for a short time. Moving too fast feels... strange."

Naruto chuckled softly. "It's fine, Temari. We're still young. Even if we live under the same roof, it's not like we'll actually do anything serious."

Temari let out a sigh of relief. "I'm glad you understand."

Life in Sunagakure

Naruto had been living in Sunagakure for a few days now, and things were going smoothly—at least on his end.

Meanwhile, back in Konoha, events had started to unfold.

Jiraiya had set out to locate Tsunade. Sasuke had earned the trust of Sarutobi Hiruzen and was studying the manuscripts left by Senju Tobirama about the Uchiha clan. Haruno Sakura, following Naruto's earlier advice, was diligently practicing her Chakra control in hopes of becoming Tsunade's apprentice upon her return.

However, one significant issue arose. Yamato, noticing Naruto's absence, reported it to Hiruzen.

At first, the Hokage dismissed it, assuming Naruto had merely wandered off. But when he failed to show up the next day, Hiruzen began to panic.

Anbu was dispatched to investigate, and they soon discovered the shocking truth: Naruto had left the village with Temari!

"Damn it!" Hiruzen cursed. "Our Jinchūriki was kidnapped?"

He wasted no time in deploying a team to Sunagakure. They were already en route.

---

Naruto, blissfully unaware of the commotion he had caused, was enjoying life in the Hidden Sand Village.

Unlike Konoha, where everyone knew he was the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, Sunagakure treated him like an ordinary stranger. For Naruto, it was paradise.

His days were filled with leisurely activities: shopping with Temari, soaking in the village's luxurious hot springs, and even indulging in foot massages from exotic Sand kunoichi. Life was nothing short of blissful.

Despite the village's harsh environment and scarcity of resources like hot springs, Naruto's immense wealth made such luxuries easily accessible. With tens of billions in assets at his disposal, he could maintain this lifestyle for decades, possibly even centuries.

One particular morning, as Naruto lay basking in the calm, he received an unexpected system notification.

A New Mission

[Ding~ System mission released: Increase combat power to 150,000.

Reward: +1 simulation opportunity.]

Naruto's eyes widened as he checked his system panel.

Over the past few days, he hadn't been training at all. Yet his combat power had steadily increased thanks to his Uzumaki bloodline and enhanced Senju DNA, courtesy of Orochimaru's experiments.

Without any effort, his Chakra reserves naturally grew every day. His current combat power was 146,701.

"Just a few thousand more," Naruto mused. "If I let it increase passively, it'll take over six months. That's too long."

Determined to speed things up, he decided to put in some effort. After explaining his plans to Temari, he left the village to train alone in the desert.

Naruto took out a scroll containing Hashirama's Wood Style techniques and began practicing.

---

"Let's see..." Naruto murmured, closing his eyes to sense the earth beneath him. Forming the necessary seals, he channeled Chakra into the sandy ground.

"Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence!"

The desert trembled as massive tree branches burst forth from the sand, each trunk wide enough for three people to wrap their arms around. The trees stretched farther and farther as Naruto poured more Chakra into the technique.

Within seconds, the barren desert transformed into a lush forest spanning two hundred meters.

Naruto ascended into the sky to survey his work. "Not bad, but it could be better. Time to keep practicing."

---

Two Days Later

At the Kazekage's office, an Anbu member delivered the latest report.

"Kazekage-sama," the Anbu began, "Uzumaki Naruto has become increasingly proficient with Wood Style. The entire village is now surrounded by forest. Beyond that, the desert for ten miles has also turned into woodland."

Rasa, the Fourth Kazekage, was stunned. His eyes shimmered with emotion. "Uzumaki Naruto is truly a benefactor to Sunagakure!"

However, the Anbu hesitated before delivering more news. "Kazekage-sama, there's another matter. A delegation from Konoha has arrived. They're demanding Naruto's return."

Rasa's expression darkened. "I see. Summon Temari immediately."

---

When Temari arrived at the office, she was greeted with an unexpected question.

"How far have you and Uzumaki Naruto progressed?" Rasa asked bluntly.

Temari blinked, caught off guard. "Why are you asking about this?"

Rasa waved her concern aside. "Just answer."

After a brief pause, Temari replied, "Naruto's a good person. I think... we could grow closer."

Rasa nodded thoughtfully. "In that case, would you be willing to marry him if I asked you to?"

"What?!" Temari's voice rose in shock. "What's going on here?"

"Konoha's envoys are here to take him back," Rasa explained.

Temari frowned and crossed her arms. "If this is about keeping Naruto in Sunagakure, then my answer is no."

Rasa's face twisted in frustration. "What did you say?"

For the first time, Temari stood her ground against her father. She wasn't the same obedient daughter he had raised. Naruto's influence had given her a new perspective.

"Let me be clear," she said firmly. "I won't let politics taint my relationship with Naruto. This is my choice, not yours."

"You—!" Rasa clenched his fists, but Temari cut him off.

"You adults always interfere in everything," she said, her voice rising with emotion. "Naruto's right—what matters is free love!"

Rasa's jaw tightened, his head pounding from the argument. He finally let out a weary sigh.

"Fine," he relented. "Go call Naruto. The Konoha envoys need to see him."

"Hmph." Temari huffed, turning on her heel. "You don't have to rush me. I'm going."

Rasa slumped back in his chair as she left, rubbing his temples.

"How did things turn out like this?" he muttered. "My own daughter... brainwashed by Uzumaki Naruto?"

---

Conclusion

Naruto's stay in Sunagakure was anything but ordinary. Between altering the desert landscape with his Wood Style and transforming Temari's outlook on life, his presence had caused a ripple effect.

As Konoha's delegation drew closer, tensions were bound to rise. But one thing was certain: Naruto's carefree days in the Hidden Sand Village were about to come to an end.

Would Temari's defiance hold strong? Could Rasa protect his newfound benefactor? And how would Konoha react to this unexpected alliance?

The answers awaited in the next chapter.
