"Is this still the Kingdom of Wind?"

Temari wandered through the dense forest, unsure of her surroundings. She'd lost her sense of direction while looking for Naruto, who had been practicing ninjutsu somewhere nearby.

After shouting for a while with no response, Temari sighed. "Looks like I'll have to figure this out myself."

She reached behind her, grabbing her signature fan. Unfolding it with precision, she swung it with all her strength.

"Wind Style: Flurry of Airflow!"

The massive iron fan generated a powerful gust of wind that roared through the sand and trees, scattering debris and creating an immense commotion.

Somewhere in the jungle

Naruto paused mid-practice, sensing the disturbance. He felt a familiar chakra linked to his Flying Thunder God mark.

"Is someone fighting?" Naruto muttered. The mark's presence puzzled him—it could only be Temari, as she was the sole Sunagakure ninja carrying his mark.

Deciding to investigate, Naruto activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and instantly appeared near Temari.

But when he arrived, there was no battle—just Temari standing alone.

"What's going on?" Naruto asked, confused.

Temari turned to him, slightly exasperated. "There are no enemies. People from Konoha came looking for you and asked me to call you back. I couldn't find you, so I used ninjutsu."

Naruto shrugged casually. "I'm not interested in going back. If they want, they can just label me a rogue ninja."

Temari was stunned. "Huh? Naruto? Did I hear that right?"

Naruto nodded firmly. "You heard me."

He created a Shadow Clone with a quick seal. "If it's urgent, let my clone deal with it. I've got more important things to do."

Temari sighed in frustration. "Alright, but what does this mean for our marriage? If you're planning to leave Konoha, what's the point of it?"

Their engagement had been arranged to strengthen the alliance between Konoha and Sunagakure. If Naruto renounced Konoha, their union would lose its purpose.

Naruto thought for a moment before speaking. "Do you like me, Temari?"

Temari blinked, caught off guard. Her confident demeanor faltered, and she avoided his gaze. "Why ask that now? At first, it was just duty. But… I've grown to think you're… pretty okay."

Her uncharacteristic shyness amused Naruto. He smiled knowingly. "Then let's leave things as they are. If Rasa doesn't cancel the engagement, nothing changes."

"And if he does?" Temari asked, her voice softer than usual.

Naruto didn't respond immediately. He simply looked at her with a faint smile.

Temari's cheeks flushed as she realized his intent. She quickly composed herself. "Fine. Keep practicing. I'll head back."

As she left, Naruto resumed his training.

Later that night

Naruto rested on a branch formed by his Wood Style, staring at the starry sky. He reflected on his progress over the past few days.

Despite his efforts, the gap between his current combat power and the mission goal of 150,000 seemed insurmountable. Training barely moved the needle compared to the natural growth of his strength.

Perhaps it was time to use the simulation feature of his system. But simulations required incense, and Naruto had none left.

"I'll head back to Sunagakure tomorrow to restock," Naruto decided.

Checking his inventory, he noted that he still had over 10 billion silver taels and four Nine-Tails summoning cards. Though his funds were plentiful, he hesitated to use the summoning cards.

"If Kurama gets too strong, I might lose control," Naruto mused.

Though Kurama and Naruto's relationship had improved, Naruto remained cautious. Trust was essential, but blind faith was foolish.

"Better safe than sorry," he muttered.

Returning to his hotel in Sunagakure, Naruto decided to indulge in a bit of "metaphysical preparation" by bathing and changing clothes before his simulation attempt.

Meanwhile, in the desert outside Sunagakure

Four figures emerged, their silhouettes sharp against the moonlit dunes.

"Hey, are you really serious about this?" Deidara asked, his tone skeptical.

The blond artist waved a photograph in the air. "This is Itachi's little brother, right? He's so arrogant, but this doesn't seem to bother him at all!"

Scorpion shot Deidara a glare. "Shut up. You're too loud."

The pair was accompanied by Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame.

Kisame chuckled, showing his sharp teeth. "Maybe Itachi's just under too much pressure."

He took the photograph from Deidara and handed it to Itachi.

Itachi, usually composed, took the photo without hesitation. One glance was enough to make his expression falter.

In the picture, Sasuke was dressed in a cat servant outfit, looking at the camera with shy indignation.

Kisame grinned wider. "Looks like your little brother's gone through some… changes."

Itachi's fingers tightened slightly on the photograph before handing it back silently.

Deidara snickered. "You're not even going to say anything? What, too shocked to respond?"

Itachi's voice was calm, but there was an edge to it. "Sasuke's choices are his own. Let's focus on the mission."

"Killjoy," Deidara muttered under his breath as the group continued toward Sunagakure.

Back in Sunagakure

Naruto wandered through the marketplace, purchasing incense and other necessities for his training. The vibrant atmosphere of the village felt like home—a stark contrast to Konoha's stifling environment.

After stocking up, Naruto returned to his room and prepared for the simulation.

As he activated the system, he felt a surge of determination.

"I'll find a way to break through," he vowed.

Unbeknownst to Naruto, the Akatsuki were drawing closer, their presence a shadow looming over his peaceful days.
