After 5 Days.

Five full days had passed since arriving at Zevil Island, and Touta still hadn't been able to obtain the card from Gittarackur. That man had changed his face after removing the needles and disappeared underground while Hisoka sat nearby, making it impossible for them to do anything.

Although Touta and Kuroumaru had been keeping an eye on Gittarackur, planning to attack him once Hisoka left, they hadn't been idle. Kuroumaru had used his Shikigami to monitor the two while he and Touta trained to increase their strength as much as possible before facing Gittarackur. That man was by no means weak.

"Touta-kun, Hisoka is moving," Kuroumaru said seriously, as his Shikigami had detected Hisoka leaving the spot where Gittarackur was hiding underground.

"Finally," Touta couldn't help but smile upon hearing that Hisoka had left. This was their chance to fight Gittarackur.

Although Touta had trained extensively over these five days, significantly improving his strength and control over Nen, and had even learned all the Shinmei-ryū techniques from Kuroumaru, he still lacked the confidence to defeat Gittarackur in a one-on-one fight, even if he was immortal.

However, he didn't feel that obtaining the number disk from him was impossible, especially with Kuroumaru fighting by his side.

"Let's go," Touta said, putting on his shirt. He had been training without it, as it helped him get into the mindset for practice.

"Alright," Kuroumaru nodded, and the two quickly headed to where Gittarackur was hiding.

"He's still in his hole, isn't he?" Touta asked for confirmation, perched on a tree with Kuroumaru while concealing their presence as much as possible.

"He hasn't come out, but we can't rule out the possibility that he dug his way out from another spot," Kuroumaru replied. Although he was certain Gittarackur hadn't left through the entrance of the hole, he wasn't sure if he was still inside, as Gittarackur had also been hiding his presence since entering the hole.

"I see... In that case, there's only one way to be sure," Touta said with a wild smile, focusing 35% of his aura into his fist and jumping from the tree toward the hole in the ground.

Boom!

Touta's punch shattered the ground, creating a massive crater with a radius of 10 meters and a depth of 20 meters.

Although the dust prevented them from seeing each other, Touta and Kuroumaru could feel Gittarackur's terrifying killing intent. It was clear he was still there and seemed furious about the attack.

Feeling Gittarackur's killing intent, Kuroumaru didn't hesitate. He swung his Nen-enhanced sword, sending waves of wind that cleared the dust obstructing their vision.

Once the dust was gone, Kuroumaru jumped to Touta's side, gripping his sword tightly, ready for battle.

"I was sleeping peacefully..." Gittarackur muttered in a cold voice filled with killing intent, though his face remained emotionless, like a robot. "Why did you have to disturb me?"

"I see... Sorry for bothering you, but I'll be taking your number disk," Touta said with a hint of apology. He didn't like being woken up either, so he understood Gittarackur's annoyance.

"Is that so? But don't expect to stay alive after disturbing me," Gittarackur said, immediately throwing Nen-enhanced needles at Touta and Kuroumaru before disappearing. The needles were merely a distraction.

"Fast..." Touta muttered, quickly drawing the sword Kuroumaru had given him and effortlessly deflecting all the needles.

"Shinmei-ryū: Zanmaken Ni no Tachi!" Kuroumaru shouted, slashing toward Touta with his blade.

"..." Despite Kuroumaru's blade cutting toward him at an astonishing speed, Touta stared at it without moving. He had learned Shinmei-ryū from Kuroumaru and recognized the technique. He knew it wouldn't harm him, as it was aimed at Gittarackur, who was trying to attack his heart from behind.

Although Gittarackur was inches away from piercing Touta's heart, he sensed immense danger and immediately abandoned his attack, crossing his arms in an X-shape to defend against Kuroumaru's Nen-infused slash, which suddenly appeared behind Touta and cut toward Gittarackur.

"Nen users..." Gittarackur muttered, staring at his injured hands caused by Kuroumaru's attack. A purple aura filled with killing intent began to surround him—this must be his Nen.

"Looks like I was right," Touta said with a triumphant smile upon seeing Gittarackur's Nen.

"I don't think this is the time for that, Touta-kun," Kuroumaru said bitterly, betting that Touta had some form of split personality due to the rapid changes in his behavior.

While the two were talking, Gittarackur didn't stay idle. He began moving around them in a specific rhythm, causing multiple copies of himself to appear.

"Shikyoku..." Touta frowned upon seeing Gittarackur's move. This wasn't the first time he'd seen this technique.

"Do you know this technique, Touta-kun?" Kuroumaru asked curiously. It was clearly an assassination technique, and he hadn't expected Touta to recognize it.

"That's right," Touta nodded toward Kuroumaru and spoke. It was clear Gittarackur was also curious, as Touta had identified the technique in an instant.
