Honkai City: My First Move is to Animate Honkai Impact 3rd

Chapter 18: Chapter 18: Help Me, Mr. Welt

[Having manifested her true Herrscher form, Sirin's hatred for Schicksal had reached its peak. However, Theresa's appearance was very misleading, making Sirin think she was a girl of the same age. So, she decided to spare her, on the condition that Theresa pledge her loyalty. Sirin tried to recruit Theresa, and Theresa tried to persuade Sirin to give up her quest for revenge.

Being rejected didn't anger Sirin; she just found it boring. Remembering Theresa's kindness to them back in Babylon Tower, Sirin had no desire to kill her. After forcefully confiscating the Oath of Judah, she casually teleported Theresa to the southern edge of Siberia, into Lake Baikal.

"Here, cool down a bit first."

"After I kill the others who came to investigate, we can have a proper talk."

The bone-chillingly cold water reminded Theresa of what Einstein had said: Judah could track based on Honkai energy. Without a second thought, Theresa immediately took action. Using Judah's reverse-tracking ability, Theresa successfully returned to Sirin's location. Her persistent, pestering attitude infuriated Sirin. With a raise of her hand, a long spear shot towards Theresa.

Theresa quickly used the Oath of Judah to block, but the spear passed through Judah as if it were an illusion. It even passed through Theresa's body without leaving a single wound.

"Is it just an intangible illusion?"

Before Theresa could finish her sentence, Sirin snapped her fingers crisply. Theresa's beautiful eyes widened abruptly. A splash of blood appeared on the screen. The previously illusory spear had switched between illusion and reality, piercing through Theresa's small body.

"This spear... it's real."]

"Ah, my little Theresa! It breaks my heart." Otto clutched his chest dramatically. Although he claimed to be heartbroken, there wasn't a trace of it in his tone.

Kallen rolled her eyes at him. "Little Theresa was too careless."

"But it fits her character perfectly, don't you think?" Otto smiled.

"Otto, if little Theresa hears this, she's going to throw a fit at you," Kallen said, amused.

"I would love for little Theresa to be so upset over a single sentence that she'd come back from the Far East just to throw a fit at me," Otto lamented. Since Theresa had gone to the Far East, she rarely contacted him anymore.

"To get defeated so quickly in her very first battle." Bronya, having procured a microphone from somewhere, held it with a serious expression on her emotionless face. "Principal, what are your thoughts?"

Theresa really wanted to bury her head in a sofa cushion. "I..."

Little did Bronya know, while she was teasing Theresa now, in the future, she would be teased back by Theresa even more, as one of the few Herrschers in the Honkai series to be soundly defeated.

[Meanwhile, Siegfried was struggling to hold off the Emperor-class Honkai Beast. After he uttered the words, "Help me, Lord First Herrscher," Welt Yang finally made his move. With a raise of his hand, the Honkai Beast vanished into thin air. Using his Herrscher powers, he forcibly pried open the imaginary space barrier with his bare hands.

Welt Yang and Siegfried saw Sirin and the unconscious Theresa on the ground. Welt immediately made the decision for Siegfried to take Theresa away while he stayed behind to hold off the Second Herrscher.

As Siegfried picked up Theresa and prepared to leave, Sirin, who had been ignored, finally attacked. Welt instantly moved in front of them, blocking the incoming Lance of the Void. Welt didn't want to fight Sirin; he just wanted to have a proper talk with her.

However, Sirin didn't believe a word he said. As a complete Herrscher, she could communicate directly with the Will of Honkai and had learned that Welt was a traitor, and the man before her was merely a copy of that traitor.

"Pay for the sin of betrayal with your life."

"Your god... is merely using you."]

"They're about to fight!" Kiana excitedly opened another bag of chips. "I wonder who will win?"

Bronya analyzed rationally, "As a complete Herrscher, Sirin definitely has a much higher chance of winning. But Uncle Yang... ahem, Mr. Welt's performance in the story has also been very strong. It will most likely be a tough battle."

"Uh, I didn't really understand all that, but what you said sounds about right, Bronya," Kiana said, munching on chips.

"Neither of them is that strong. If you ask me, I'm definitely the strongest!" Senti, her seat having been taken by Himeko, squeezed in next to Kiana. She puffed out her small chest and said proudly, "Yàqīng promised me. He's going to give me a role where I can beat up Schicksal's strongest, kick the First Herrscher's butt, and fight humanity's strongest warrior to a draw."

"So cool!" Kiana's eyes sparkled. She slapped her palm decisively and said with confidence, "Then I'm going to ask my uncle too! At worst, I'll just beg him. I want a character who's no weaker than Sirin! And she has to be the strongest one."

"No way, I'm the strongest!"

"I am!"

"I am!"

Fu Hua and Mei quickly separated the two, who had started arguing over something so trivial.

Bronya stared with dead fish eyes. She didn't believe a single word Senti had said. It was most likely just Yàqīng teasing her.

[The audience's questions went unanswered. The scene didn't cut to Welt and Sirin's fight, but instead to Schicksal's floating island headquarters. Cecilia, wearing an apron, was making dinner. She held a tray and looked with a smile at little Otto and little Kiana sitting on the floor. Little Kiana grabbed Otto's braid. Otto thought to himself, For such a small child to have so much strength, she truly has the blood of a Kaslana.

Little Kiana tugged hard on the braid.

"Make the braid longer!"

"That really hurts!"]

"Pfft."

Unstifled laughter could be heard throughout the Golden Courtyard. From Otto's introduction, he was clearly a deep, calculating, villainous mastermind, but now the style had suddenly changed to him being bullied by little Kiana.

"Little Kiana is so cute, and Otto would also look good in a dress," Elysia persisted, not giving up on the idea.

Yàqīng wiped the sweat from his brow.

"By the way, isn't Welt also a Herrscher? Why would Sirin call him a traitor?" Kevin asked curiously.

"This particular storyline, I'm actually planning to release it as a web series in the future," Yàqīng replied.

"Alright then."

Mobius was currently pondering the concept of the Will of Honkai.
