Fu Lin held the back of his head, frowning as he looked at the slightly confused Elysia on top of him. "Ugh… What are you doing?"

Elysia straddled him, her hands resting on his chest. She touched her head in realization, then stuck out her tongue apologetically.

"My dear Fu Lin, I didn't do it on purpose."

"You two… what are you doing?!"

"Elysia, what are you trying to do to Fu Lin?!" A cold voice tinged with anger rang out from a distance, followed by the sound of high heels clicking against the ground, signaling its owner's approach.

Elysia looked up at Mei, who was walking toward her, completely unaware of the resentment in her eyes. She waved and called out, "Mei, I've been waiting for you for so long!"

"Waiting for me? Should I have come a little later? That way, you could have stayed intimately close to Fu Lin just as you wished? Mei gritted her teeth as she glared at Elysia. She had only been gone for a short while, yet someone had taken advantage of the situation without her even realizing it.

Elysia shook her head in denial. "Nope, it was just an accident, right, Lin?"

Fu Lin covered his face and urged, "Yeah, so hurry up and get up already?"

Elysia placed both hands back on Fu Lin's chest, ignoring his words, and instead looked at Mei with a smile. "Dear Mei, look, even Fu Lin said it was an accident~?"

Nearby, Pardo was already so shocked that her mouth hung open, her mind overwhelmed as if thousands of galloping horses were trampling through it.

'Oh no, did I just witness something I shouldn't have? Will Mei and Elysia silence me for this?!'

'No, I have to find a way to leave quickly!'

With that thought, Pardo hurriedly shut her eyes, covered her ears, and slowly backed away, muttering to herself, "I saw nothing, I heard nothing, this has nothing to do with me!"

Once she had retreated far enough, Pardo turned and swiftly fled the scene, not forgetting to call out, "Elysia, Mei, Lin, I'll take my leave first."

It seemed like it really was just an accident. I overthought it.

Mei lowered her arm, returning to her usual demeanor, and turned her gaze to Fu Lin, who was struggling to get up. "Got it. So what exactly happened between you two, and why..."

Elysia put her hands on her hips, wearing a smug expression.

"Mm-hmm~ I was just trying to learn about Mei's past, but Brother Lin refused to tell me, so I pinned him down."

"Oh, right, I haven't even apologized to Fu Lin yet~"

Fu Lin patted his backside, rubbed his neck, and muttered softly, "Don't mind me… just let me have some peace…"

But in that brief moment, the vision of Elysia lying in a sea of flowers did not appear. Was I just hallucinating?

Elysia leaned closer to Fu Lin, mimicking his posture as she examined the crystal flower with a puzzled look. "Yare yare, what's wrong? Is there something off about this crystal flower?"

Fu Lin put away the crystal flower, rubbed his eyes, and replied, "Nothing, it's just… does this crystal flower require so much effort?"

Elysia crossed her arms and tilted her head slightly. "Mm-hmm~"
