Chapter 426: Chapter 427: Denounced by Women

Modern World – Alexander's Home

Although Alexander had already purchased a house in the Dungeon world as the headquarters for his Familia, truthfully, the Otherworld couldn't compare to modern society in terms of interest and convenience.

From food, wine, mobile phones, and television to 24-hour electricity and hot water, along with recreational amenities like playgrounds, cafes, cinemas, and karaoke, modern life was far more entertaining.

Thus, whenever Alexander familia wasn't grinding in the dungeon, he would always return home to rest and indulge in these comforts.

"Waaaah! Artemis! Waaaah! Alexander, how could you be so cruel!"

At Alexander's house, Hestia was bawling her eyes out while watching the movie adaptation of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. The story had taken a tragic turn: the hero had saved the world but failed to save the Moon Goddess, Artemis.

This hit Hestia especially hard because Artemis was both her best friend and closest confidante in the heavens. Watching this heart-wrenching tale unfold left her inconsolable.

Tears streaked her face as she sobbed like a kitten. Beside her, Rin handed her a tissue and tried to console her.

"Hestia, you should've realized what kind of person this guy is a long time ago," Rin began, glaring at Alexander. "Honestly, you have no idea how ruthless he can be! Do you know what he did to me? My entire Familia, ruined! My father was killed by his apprentice, my mother went insane, my uncle was a pervert, my teacher pursued pleasure, and don't even get me started on what he did to my poor sister!"

Rin clenched her fists as she continued, "Sure, I've worked hard to turn things around, but thinking about it still makes me furious!"

"And you think that's bad?" Shinobu chimed in, her tone resigned. "In our world, my sister and I were devoured by demons, my adopted sister went blind, and only two of the nine Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps survived. A beautiful story about slaying demons turned into a complete tragedy. Alexander is merciless."

"I can relate," said Akame, who had recently arrived in this world. "In my world, everyone died in all kinds of horrifying ways—beheadings, self-destruction, being cut in half, or disappearing without a trace. Out of our entire team, only the boss and I survived."

Mikoto interjected, "And let's not forget me! My poor sisters—Alexander nearly drove me insane with what he put us through!"

Setsuna muttered, "At least you made it through episode 1. I didn't even survive the opening act..."

Then Kurumi laughed bitterly, "Hah! Have any of you truly experienced despair?"

Surrounded by this chorus of complaints, Alexander shivered and instinctively hugged the little girl beside him, Kanna. In this hostile room, only her innocent presence provided him any solace.

Little Kanna tilted her head and asked in her sweet, childlike voice, "Big brother, why did you make me kick me out by my parents?"

Before Alexander could respond, Gabriel, lounging nearby with a can of soda, added her complaint. "And me, too—"

"Shut up!" Alexander snapped, glaring at her. "You're just a lazy freeloader! You don't get to pile on like everyone else!"

"Alright, alright!" Alexander raised his hands in surrender. "Can we stop this now? Didn't I already rewrite all your destinies?"

"Hmph!" Mikoto retorted, crossing her arms. "You still have the nerve to talk? Changing our destinies isn't enough! You made us suffer, and then you had the gall to steal our hearts. You think you deserve to be happy after all that?"

Her words left Alexander speechless. As much as he hated to admit it, Mikoto's argument was valid.

With a sigh, he finally relented. "Fine, fine, I get it. Let's not dwell on the past. If it's about saving Artemis, we still have time. Hestia, take me to her."

"Really?!" Hestia's face lit up with excitement. She knew Alexander's strength well and was confident that he could handle even the ancient monster threatening Artemis. Without hesitation, she grabbed his hand and started dragging him toward the basement.

Alexander groaned. "Hey, slow down! It will be a long journey. Let me stop by next door to borrow Vimana from Gilgamesh first."

"No need! You can ride on me!" Tohru suddenly declared eagerly. "Don't worry—I'll make sure it's a smooth ride. You'll be comfortable, I promise!"
