Hunter X Hunter: Tombbound Power

Chapter 300: 300 Overlord's Proceeds from Touching Corpses!

Emuksu patted his chest confidently, saying, "Is there anything I can help with? Cough, cough, I suppose this really does!"

Ronnel coughed lightly and said calmly, "Actually, there is something."

"Huh? What is it?" Emuksu blinked in surprise, his curiosity piqued.

"It's these…" Ronnel revealed three broken weapons in his hand: the shattered Subai Saber, the Subai Sword's hilt and remnants, and the fragmented Undead Bone Spear.

Emuksu took them with interest, his expression shifting to astonishment as he examined the weapons. "The Subai Saber and Subai Sword? Their durability far surpasses normal weapons. I never imagined they could break."

His gaze shifted to the Undead Bone Spear, its faint glow catching his attention. His astonishment deepened as he muttered, "This…"

Meanwhile, Ging's expression grew serious. He scrutinized the spear, sensing its ominous aura. Though he couldn't discern its full nature, the faint resemblance to Overlord's aura set him on edge.

"Ronnel's trophy?" Ging speculated silently.

Indeed, the bone spear was among the spoils Ronnel claimed using his unique ability, Gravekeeper's Grasp, after defeating Overlord. Five treasures had emerged from the corpse, each extraordinary. The most notable were:

A mass of pure aura—far more potent than most.

The Undead Bone Spear (Damaged State)—a legendary weapon crafted from the central bones of undead Bone Demons refined over generations. It boasted three core attributes:

Blood-sucking: Drains blood from enemies upon contact.

Coldness: Releases a freezing chill that slows enemy movements.

Hardness: Unparalleled durability.

Ronnel recognized its immense value and was determined to restore it.

The other treasures included:

Sonata of Darkness (Violin Part): A cursed score that amplifies power at a significant cost.

Quick Healing: A regeneration ability, allowing near-instant recovery from injuries.

Stubborn Physique: A body constitution granting incredible resilience and endurance.

While Emuksu inspected the broken spear, Ging couldn't help but marvel.

"That spear must be worth a fortune. Its abilities are terrifying."

Emuksu finally spoke, his tone serious. "This is the strangest and most powerful weapon I've ever seen."

Ging interjected, "Can't you use the recycling room to fix it?"

Emuksu shot him an annoyed look. "The recycling room you tricked me into sending to Greed Island? Building another one costs a fortune!"

"You must have spares," Ging replied nonchalantly.

"Of course I do," Emuksu muttered, "but that doesn't excuse your shamelessness!"

Ging ignored the complaint, his gaze fixed on the ceiling as if in deep thought. Emuksu grumbled but quickly turned his attention back to Ronnel. "Come with me. The recycling room in the storage area should handle these repairs perfectly."

"Thank you," Ronnel said, standing and following Emuksu. Ging trailed after them.

The group stopped before a circular door. Emuksu stepped forward and opened it, revealing a room that looked like a mix of a workshop and a magical laboratory. Strange devices lined the walls, and at the center stood a machine resembling a fantastical furnace.

"This is the recycling room," Emuksu explained, gesturing proudly. "It can restore nearly anything to its original state—or better."

Ronnel approached, his gaze focused on the machine, as the restoration of his weapons began.
