I Am Hades, The supreme GOD of the Underworld!

Chapter 481: Chapter 481: Typhon Steps Forward! The Wheels of Fate Are Poised for the Final Turn!

Humanity is the cherished child of the Mythical World, especially now with the Underworld's support.

The Titan-blooded Giants were personally created by the Earth Goddess, who went so far as to produce a God-King among them.

In truth, this racial conflict began as a game between the Earth Goddess and the three ruling gods.

But over time, it transformed.

This wasn't unusual; changes were bound to happen.

And in the end, the conflict has evolved into a duel between humanity and the Titan-blooded Giants.

It's unsurprising! Humanity is the favored race, while the Titan-blooded Giants represent the Earth Goddess's dedication.

The core of this final struggle is set, and it is inevitable.

In such circumstances, the outcome is already determined.

As for everything else?

Heh…

It's meaningless.

For the gods, undeniably, this is an opportunity.

Or rather, it could be seen as a miracle.

But that's the point.

Miracles are rare, and from a fundamental standpoint, achieving them requires endless opportunity.

Do you truly have that chance?

This is the core issue.

Miracles, even when they appear, require the ability to seize them—a feat that is far from guaranteed.

The gods spent countless ages and invested endless effort, but they are not the main players in this war. At best, they are spectators, running alongside the actual players.

Now that the game approaches its end, it's time for them to step aside.

"By my estimate…" Pandora mused, "in no more than thirty to fifty years, the gods and the various races will fully exit this game. By then, the true racial war will begin, and this preliminary 'game' will be over."

Her voice carried a trace of resignation.

The more she learned, the more she understood the immense pressure and terrifying agony the lesser gods must endure.

But Pandora didn't pity them; it was irrelevant to her.

Gods are sentimental beings, and they are fiercely loyal to those they care for. But at the same time, they are capable of cold detachment, like a band of madmen.

To the gods, these lesser deities chose this path themselves, so their fate is of no concern.

Pandora watched indifferently. They entered the game willingly, so no one would pity them.

This is the fundamental truth for the gods.

Gods are not sentimental beings; they are cold-blooded.

Expecting mercy from them is as good as a joke!

"Mmm…" Eris pondered aloud. "In that case, the real show is about to begin."

Pandora responded, slightly exasperated, "Eris, behave yourself and don't cause trouble! This racial war is critically important to the Underworld, and His Majesty is watching closely. If you stir things up and cause problems, it won't end well."

"Hey!" Eris huffed, annoyed. "Pandora, what do you take me for? Do you think I'm the type to cause unnecessary trouble?"

Pandora stared at her in silence, clearly uncertain.

In truth, Eris had a reputation. In the original myths, she nearly instigated a world-shattering conflict just because she wasn't invited to a banquet!

Pandora knew Eris's penchant for chaos all too well. Yet Hades didn't mind her mischievous nature; he even found it amusing.

But now wasn't the time for Eris's antics. Thus, Hades had stationed her by Persephone's side to keep a closer eye on her.

"Eris," Pandora said eventually, "just be patient. In a few decades, the Underworld will get busy again, and then you'll have all the excitement you want."

"I understand," Eris replied with a sigh. "But really, Pandora, take care of yourself and don't overwork yourself."

Pandora smiled and nodded. "Don't worry. I know my limits."

Eris departed, having simply been looking for some company to pass the time in a world that had grown too quiet for her liking. And Pandora was always a good conversationalist.

"Honestly…" Pandora chuckled softly as she watched Eris leave. She whispered to herself, "Eris's nature is something else. Thankfully, His Majesty never takes these things to heart."

With a smile, Pandora returned to her work, her desk stacked with countless tasks awaiting her attention.

On the Border of the Underworld and the Surface World

In a distorted void between the realms, a figure opened his eyes, and the divine power radiating from them marked him as a true God-King.

A God-King, capable of defeating anything in his path.

"Hmph…" Typhon exhaled deeply, muttering to himself, "The time has come. Those lesser creatures are on their way out. Now, it's my turn to handle humanity!"

"Soon, the Titan-blooded Giants will stand as the true protagonists of the Mythical World!"

He clenched his fist, a surge of divine power igniting in his eyes, the flames of ambition blazing to their peak.

This figure was none other than Typhon.

Although Typhon was the hidden ruler behind the Titan-blooded Giants, ranking even above Gaia, he was wise enough to understand the dynamics of this war.

Typhon knew that even without his intervention, the Titan-blooded Giants would triumph over the other races, leaving only humanity as their final opponent.

For he understood that humanity was originally the chosen race of the Mythical World. However, this destiny had been altered by his mother, Gaia, an outcome that the Mythical World reluctantly accepted.

The gods, in truth, were only incidental players, pawns to further the racial war to this advanced stage.

With their purpose fulfilled, it was time for them to step aside.

Typhon understood that his time had come.

"The Underworld King!"

"The Sea Emperor!"

"The Sky Emperor!"

"The Earth's Sovereign!"

"Who among them will be my true opponent?"

Typhon considered his potential rivals seriously.

For him, there were only a few worthy of concern. The rest of the gods were inconsequential, too unworthy to even cross his mind.

But ironically, those insignificant gods had served as players in this game, advancing the racial war to this point. Without them, the war might never have escalated.

Now, all that remained was for the Titan-blooded Giants to secure their position as the rulers of the Mythical World.

With a confident smile, Typhon considered his plan. Once the Titan-blooded Giants assumed control, everything else would fall into place.

"Once we are victorious, the path forward will be easy."

A self-assured smile spread across his face, his confidence boundless.

For Typhon, once the Titan-blooded Giants were the sole rulers of the Mythical World, his own ascension to the status of Ancient God would follow naturally.

"And then…" His eyes glinted with a dark ambition.

It was clear that Typhon had no desire to remain his mother's servant.

Regardless of what other gods thought, Typhon did not want to live in his mother's shadow forever.

An ambition burned within him, an ambition to surpass Gaia herself.

The title of Creator God…

Why shouldn't he claim it?

He believed he had both the qualifications and the strength to surpass his mother, to become a higher god than Gaia.

God-King, Ancient God, Creator God…

To Typhon, these were merely steps on the ladder of his destiny. In his future, he would ascend them effortlessly, and all others would serve as mere stepping stones beneath his feet.

Such was Typhon's confidence.

As for whether he would succeed, and what impact Hades's own ascent to Ancient God would have?

Hmph!

Typhon dismissed these concerns as mere trifles, meaningless plots, and minor obstacles in his eyes.

From birth, his arrogance was evident.

To Typhon, everyone and everything was just a stepping stone on his path, a triviality unworthy of true attention.

To him, destiny was merely awaiting its final turn.

And so, with absolute certainty, Typhon knew:

The wheels of fate were finally ready to move into their final stage.
