I Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble and Want to Enjoy a Laid-Back Harem Life – I Have No Intention of Getting Involved in the Main Story, Just Want to Live Comfortably with My Female Slaves, but Everyone Around Me Keeps Treating Me Like a Hero

Chapter 1.1 - Reincarnation

“Hmm… I never thought I’d end up reincarnating.”

Before me stood a full-length mirror.

I gazed into it, voicing my honest thoughts.

The reflection staring back at me was that of a young boy.

A boy with heterochromatic eyes—one gold, one red. His slightly long white hair framed a face so well-proportioned that it looked as if God Himself had crafted it with the utmost care.

“There’s no way this is me.”

I didn’t know this beautiful boy.

I was supposed to have an unremarkable, plain appearance.

“I was just an introverted nerd… But somehow, I ended up reincarnating as this beautiful boy?”

That reaction was only natural.

Up until just recently, I had been nothing more than an ordinary high school student in Japan.

I spent my days hanging out with my otaku friends, living an uneventful school life. On my way home—just as usual—I was hit by a truck and died.

“…Ugh.”

I remembered it clearly.

The moment I was struck. The fear.

There was no mistaking it.

One moment, everything went dark. The next, I found myself standing in front of this mirror. And staring back at me was a boy I didn’t recognize—wait.

“…Ah, yeah. Yeah. Huh? Oh… Ooooh?”

As I stood before the mirror, recalling my past life and the moment of my death, unfamiliar memories started surfacing in my mind.

Memories of a boy I had never known.

“…An isekai reincarnation.”

Memories that didn’t belong to me.

As I tried to sort them out, I realized what had happened.

Wait. Seriously? I was hit by a truck and reincarnated? Like one of those overused, cliché isekai tropes that nobody even talks about anymore?

You’ve got to be kidding me.

The sheer absurdity of it left me dumbfounded.

And then—

“Wait a second… This guy…!”

I finally understood who I had become.

A boy with white hair and mismatched gold and red eyes… And then, these foreign memories rising within me…

When I put it all together, there was only one answer.

“Lloyd Reinhardt, the villainous noble.”

A character from Arcana of the Sword Demon—a game so unapologetically cliché that it almost felt like a parody of the genre.

Lloyd Reinhardt was born an exceptional prodigy, but his overwhelming talent made him arrogant and tyrannical. Eventually, he turned to crime, and in the end, he was executed by the protagonist.

“Uwaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!?”

The realization struck me like a hammer.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOO WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?”

Can you really blame me for screaming?

“Of all the characters… Why HIM!?”

Despite being a game full of compelling characters, Lloyd Reinhardt was deliberately crafted to be the worst of them all—the most irredeemable villain.

And I had reincarnated as him.

There was no way I wouldn’t freak out.

“I—I’m doomed!?”

He dies! In the game, this guy is executed!

Oh, come on! It was already bad enough that I ended up as the most despicable character in the game, but now I have a literal death sentence hanging over my head?

“I have to die AGAIN!?”

The pain of getting hit by a truck.

The agony of death.

I had been trying not to think about it, but now those memories came rushing back, making me tremble.

Fear.

A primal fear of dying.

My mind spun with panic and dread—

BANG!

The door suddenly burst open.

“Master Lloyd! What is the matter!?”

A well-dressed elderly man in a tailcoat rushed into the room, his expression filled with concern.

An old butler.

Even though I had never met him before, my newly inherited memories told me exactly who he was.

“I-It’s nothing, Jeeves!”

Without thinking, I blurted out a response.

I barely knew this man, and yet, deep within my mind, I did.

Acting on pure reflex, I forced my voice to remain steady—desperately trying not to cause him unnecessary worry.
