I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 257: Lillian Sudden Meeting with the...? [Bonus]

It was now the afternoon, soon to be the start of the next competition. And currently...

"Oh, you must let me know, Lillian! Are you absolutely sure I hadn't disturbed both of you?"

Currently, she was being interrogated by her own mother on what had happened this morning, which she wasn't going to talk about for her own embarrassment.

She took a sneaky glance to the side, staring at the Assassin's face, which was expressionless beyond compare. However, deep down, she knew for a fact that the woman was, without a doubt, blushing inside.

It was either that or Marionette was extremely frustrated at being interrupted by her intimate and romantic moment with her.

Lillian blushed something in her mother's eyes and made her speak up again. But as she was open to open her mouth, they happened to meet someone of importance along the way.

It was Reph.

And... His family...

Lillian stared at Reph's face, which was extremely tired compared to the last time she saw him... And she probably knew the reason why.

She slowly drew her gaze down to his side, finding a petite girl clutching his hand tightly and tugging at it repeatedly, causing his body to be pulled to one side constantly.

Lillian instantly recognised the petite girl to be Reph's younger sister of about 5-6 years, Celestine. And it was at this recollection from her memory that she couldn't help but have her face unconsciously twitch.

She remembered that the girl was extremely attached to her older brothers for some odd reason. The game never delved much into it, so it must just be for normal reasons.

She then drew her gaze towards the queen, who stood next to her husband, the king, with a casual and motherly expression. Her name was Amanda Von Lionbright.

She can't remember what her maiden name before marriage was, but that didn't matter currently, for it didn't do much for the story. And even if she remembered, it wouldn't help in the slightest.

All she remembered was that she was a fair but quiet woman who gave all the needed communication for her husband to talk in her stead.

But that didn't necessarily mean she wouldn't take on the burden for her husband whenever it was needed. It was really more of a preference.

Or...

... A flaw?

Now that she thought about it, she remembered somewhere in Reph's dialogue that his sister, too, was an Enhanced Human, so that might be the cause for her almost child-like behaviour.

She then slowly turned her gaze towards the king but was immediately met with a suffocating amount of pressure from the man, which seemed to affect the area around them only.

Lillian gulped, staring into the man's eyes that seemed to warrant something. She took a glance towards the side, finding Marionette already bowing.

She then took a glance to her other side, finding her mother bowing as well.

That was when she figured out what she was missing.

Lillian bent over, falling into a 90-degree bow before stating:

"I greet the king and his family. I hope this day finds you and your family well...?" She spoke with a nervous and robotic tone that caused Reph, who was watching this, to facepalm over how embarrassing the situation was.

Fortunately, his view wasn't shared with his father, for he laughed, finding Lillian's reaction understandable and even hilarious in some form, albeit not being able to see her face.

"Yes, yes. It very much is, I believe. You three are welcome to raise your heads now."

Lillian, Marionette, and Veronica lifted their heads simultaneously.

Lillian stared at the man's eyes with a look of admiration and even excitement. If she could see her face now, she was sure she could see stars forming inside her eyes.

She was actually meeting a real-life king!

Sure, some may want to meet a dashing prince, but Reph had already shattered that image inside her mind.

Well, it was not like she had much of an image of him since she had been going after a certain Assassin since the beginning.

"Are you three currently on your way to watch the next competition?"

Lillian, breaking out of her daze, nodded.

Just as she was about to answer, her mother beat her to it.

"We are~! I feel that this year's Crystal Defense will likely be very interesting!"

The king nodded firmly with a smile, "I feel that, too. How's research been, Veronica? I see that your husband isn't here as well."

Lillian watched as her mother began to engage in a conversation with the royal family. However, in the corner of her eyes, she watched as Reph sneakily walked up to them from the side.

With his sister still attached to him like a koala.

He raised his hand lazily.

"Yo."

Lillian waved her hand back at him.

"Yo, to you too, Reph."

"Hey!"

Lillian turned her gaze down to the petite lady wrapped around Reph's side and tilted her head as the girl called out to her.

Lillian glanced around, then returned her attention back down to the girl before pointing at herself.

Was this girl calling out for her?

The princess, Celestine, nodded with clear annoyance, "Don't so casually greet my brother! Do it properly—! Ow-ow...!"

Reph pinched his little sister's cheek, pulling it. He stared down at her tiredly and sighed, "Please... don't antagonise someone that can beat you several times in a moment."

"o-okay! P-please let go, bro!"

Lillian smiled wryly at this scene. She couldn't help but get nostalgic about when she was still living with her brother, who would usually act like this.

As she was living through her memories, she couldn't help but unconsciously eavesdrop on her mother's conversation with the king. And the particular topic they were on left her...

... A bit speechless.

"You have a formidable daughter, Veronica. Have you ever thought about getting her to know my son a little better?"

And this was something that Reph had been able to hear as well.

He immediately twisted his head back with wide eyes and sweating bullets, "What are you talking about, father?!"

Leonardo shrugged nonchalantly, "You're a good-looking young man who is still single, boy. I'm just a father trying to assist you."

"I don't need assistance in this regard!"
