I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Leonardo turned his attention away from his son and towards Veronica, who was holding her chin with a pondering expression before sighing.

"Oh, dear... It's much too late for that, your Majesty."

She gave a half-turn back and gestured towards Marionette, who had her arms folded and her face firm and cold—something that the king recognised to be a key trait in every Roselle member.

The king tilted his head slightly as he stroked his chin in a curious manner. He eventually deciphered what Veronica was implying and laughed loudly.

"I see! Very well, then. I apologise for what I said, I do hope you could forgive me, Marek's daughter."

Marionette nodded and responded without a hint of being bothered by what he had said earlier, "It is not an issue, your Majesty. My Lillian is an excellent partner to have, considering her strength and talent. I understand."

Lillian stared at the Assassin's face as she said this and felt embarrassed by the compliments. She then stiffened and jumped at a certain voice behind her.

"Shit, bro. That glazing is unreal!"

Lillian quickly twisted her head around, finding Millis to be behind her, casually drinking a milkshake through a straw. And looking through the plastic cup, she found that the milkshake to be... orange?

"What milkshake is that...?" Lillian asked, suspicious.

Millis tore her lips away from the straw and gave the milkshake a look as well, scrutinising it before responding:

"Orange?" She muttered with an uncertain look before nodding confidently, "Yeah, orange. I got this from that cafe we always go to."

She raised her eyes back towards Lillian's, finding the girl to be staring at her weirdly.

"... That... sounds like a horrible combination."

Millis pouted, giving her a deadpan stare.

She then waved around the milkshake as though she was role-playing to be an offended drunkard.

"Look, brah! Don't judge mah taste. And I'll have ya know—"

She then raised it over her head as though it was a heavenly artefact.

"—This shi' is banging! Here, have a try!"

Millis passed over the drink, letting Lillian have a try.

After doing so, it was when the Heroine noticed that the king was there as well. She smiled, bowing slightly and waving:

"I greet your Majesty~! How's ya day going thus far?"

"It is going splendid, girl. Are you perhaps off to the colosseum as well?"

"Ya bet! Gotta get one of them seats before all of them are snatched up!"

She then turned her attention to Reph, who was covering his face out of embarrassment of his father. Of course, since Millis wasn't here to see what had happened earlier, she asked about it.

She went over to him and slapped his back repeatedly, "Wassup, chum? What got ya so down?"

"Hey! Stop hitting my broth—O-ow!" Before the girl clinging to Reph's side could finish her sentence, the Prince had already begun pinching and pulling her cheek.

The little sister squealed before eventually surrendering. "O-Okay, I'll stop...!"

Reph eventually pulled his hand. He also eventually lifted his face out of his palm, allowing Millis to see his face.

Millis, staring at his mouth, made an 'O' shape with her mouth before nodding in an understanding manner. She slowly patted his back reassuringly before speaking in a gentle voice:

"Girl problems...? I get ya, bro... I, too, get them on a daily basis."

"... What?"

Reph lowered his hands from his face completely, staring at Millis's face with a stupified expression. What was this woman on about? And how was she somewhat correct?

Millis ignored the look Reph was giving her and turned her gaze towards Lillian, who—under intense scrutiny from a certain Assassin—sipped the drink.

She then moved her lips away from it and stared at the drink weirdly.

"I don't like it..."

"Ehhh...? For real?"

Millis moved forward and grabbed the drink out of Lillian's hand before drinking it as well, causing Marionette's face to twitch as she slowly moved toward the white-haired girl from behind.

"Meh... Might be an acquired taste, I guess."

Millis lifted her gaze to Lillian, finding her distracted by Marionette, who was staring at her suspiciously. She raised an eyebrow before pausing and raising her drink towards the woman with a smirk.

"Don't get jealous, gurl... I ain't going after ya girl. Calm ya possessive ass, red eyes."

Marionette softened her stare.

She then clicked her tongue, pulling Lillian along while glancing between Millis and Reph, who immediately avoided his gaze. He was already in the "danger" zone, and now he was at the edge of it due to his father.

Marionette and Lillian moved past the royal family, but only after bidding them a respectful goodbye. Veronica, seeing that her daughter and girlfriend were leaving, bid the king and his family farewell as well.

Reph sighed in relief at seeing the assassin leave.

He can't just help but hope the day the woman won't become overly jealous over the littlest of matters about Lillian. As he thought this, the future where Marionette was even more possessive appeared in his mind.

He shivered and internally prayed to the Vermillion Bird that his future self wasn't still on the woman's hit list.

While Reph was praying, Millis couldn't give much of a damn about the look Marionette was giving her. She knew, for a fact, she was better off than Reph in terms of a friendly relationship with the assassin.

She was, after all, the assassin's dating coach. How could she die when her skills were constantly needed?

She grinned widely, drifting her gaze towards the Prince.

"Man, dude. I feel hella bad for ya~..."

"... Has anyone called you annoying?"

Millis immediately answered in a proud voice.

"Plenty of times!"

He then raised his hand, causing a screen to appear and roll out like a digital scroll.

Lillian, having got seated, looked towards the participants in today's battle.
