I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 260: Marionette's Rude?

She was going to do what Lillian could not.

She was going to take on the entire enemy team herself.

Marionette pulled out a handgun, looking over its metallic barrel and cylinders already loaded with ammunition. She was going to do all of it with the handgun and her abilities.

Nothing else.

She thought back to her spar with Lillian, where she had used the weapon. Having previously analysed its description with the help of the Jester's System, she now knew some details about the restrictions.

She was unable to use any other items to help her in defeating her enemy. She was also unable to physically harm the target. Fortunately, grappling doesn't fall under harm for the handgun.

It also had a powerful recoil in exchange for even more firepower. Luckily, with her strength, she was able to nullify this recoil, being able to keep it steady.

However...

'I'm still unable to decipher what is needed to awaken its potential... Lillian was also tight-fisted on the information for it...'

She looked over the gun's dimensions and wondered, thinking along the lines of:

Where did Lillian buy this handgun? And why was it so mysterious?

She hadn't ever heard of a weapon of the 'Regular' category. Were they some sort of ancient arsenal in Hearth, the Trial Realm? Or could it have been made by an unknown blacksmith in their world?

It could go either way, considering that their world had only got what they currently had due to the other world's nation, Cogna, extensive blueprints.

After recalling what she currently knew about the handgun, she looked up towards the sky, staring at the timer that slowly ticked down at a nerve-wracking rate.

'I must begin giving out orders...'

But for that to happen, she must analyse their current situation.

Currently, their academy was up by 2 points in the entire tournament—six points being the maximum—while the opposing academy still had none. At this point in time, they must have switched out some of their members.

If what she believed to be correct was that the other team must be formidable.

This was most likely what Lillian had thought as well. Surely, that was the reason why she put her on this team.

Her mind tightened around the gritty handle of the gun.

'My Lillian... Capable as always...'

She glanced back towards her team members, finding that they had already prepared for the battle ahead.

Perhaps she could use them as a way to gauge the enemy's strength.

Or...

She could go and destroy it as soon as the match begins...

She immediately shook her head.

'Make it interesting... Let's make it interesting for Lillian.'

She shouldn't immediately go after the goal. It wouldn't do good as entertainment for her girlfriend.

Marionette twisted her entire body towards her teammates and began to take slow steps in their direction.

The two saw her approach and immediately bowed before greeting her.

The blonde man, Christopher, spoke up first.

"N-nice to meet you, Roselle Ma'am—!"

The one with brunette hair, Zack, elbowed his friend's side.

He then hissed at him.

"Don't say, ma'am, dude! Women hate it because it makes them sound old!"

"O-oh crap, seriously?!"

As they were talking with one another, Marionette had already gone around them casually. Once reaching the crystal, she sat down and leaned her back against its metal cradle.

Her lax behaviour caused the two men to lower their guard slightly, finding that she wasn't upset by how they referred to her.

They glanced at one another with a confused look in their eyes before slowly moving closer to her.

They were then stopped once, reaching a few metres away from her.

They stared at her open palm that was raised towards them and stared at it curiously.

Marionette, having raised her hand, said:

"Don't approach me. Your smell is putrid."

Her rude tone left the two men stunned, baffled by what she had just said. Weren't they on the same side? Why had she suddenly turned against them for no reason?

"What the hell are you on about?!" Jack angrily yelled whilst his friend Christopher sniffed himself to check if he really did smell at all.

Marionette kept quiet, keeping her hand outstretched before speaking again.

"Here's the plan. Go out and engage with the enemy. Upon dying, you will return seconds later. After that, forward everything you know to me. Once that happens, we win."

She then blinked at them.

"Got all that? Good."

Marionette then wore a pair of headphones before folding her arms.

The two men watched as the woman listened to the music played through the headphones with her eyes closed.

They couldn't help but feel even more humiliated.

"Just because you're from a high noble family and part of a higher ranked class, doesn't mean you get to boss around with our lives like tha—!"

Right as he was about to finish his complaint, Marionette popped her hand out from her chest and made a shooing gesture.

"I believe the timer had now counted down to zero. Off you go. You can't possibly plan to surrender this game, do you?"

Millis watched as the two men grumbled before leaving the Assassin alone at the crystal. Her lips left the straw and made an 'O' shape.

She couldn't help but mutter:

"Wow. Red eyes sure is commanding with other people." She smirked and turned to Lillian, "I'm starting to believe ya is a masochist for being with someone so dominant."

Her smirk then froze before turning wry.

Lillian had one side of her face leaning into her palm with a massive grin that could only be described as silly.

She then watched as the girl's lips moved. She focused and heard:

"My Mari is only nice to me... Hehe..."

Lillian let out a silly giggle, unable to get out the thought of Marionette only ever being nice to her, which in itself was a bad thing. But, the thought of it was extremely romantic to her.

And as her mind continued to wander, Millis, who was watching her, couldn't help but turn away as her face contorted.

"Sheesh... This girl is getting more and more crazy each day. No wonder Red-eyes fits well with her. They're both crazy!"
