I'm A Plunderer In The World Of One Piece.

Chapter 44: Chapter 44: Hakoku Sovereignty. [Bonus]

Boom!!

Hakoku Sovereignty's immense force collided with the strange wax figure, halting its motion in mid-air. Though it tried to advance, it was pinned down effortlessly, held in place by the overwhelming pressure of the Elbaf attack.

Boom!!!

Its body, cloaked in black Armament Haki, quaked violently under the unrelenting might of the ancient technique. Unable to withstand the assault, the wax figure's Haki began to unravel.

Boom!!!!!

Its structure shattered—torn apart and swallowed by the spinning storm of Hakoku Sovereignty. Without its protective Haki, it was defenseless, obliterated completely.

"Damn it…"

"Heh… Interesting…"

Two newly formed wax heads cracked and scattered with a final, raspy whisper. Shards flew into the air like leaves in a storm, disintegrating into useless fragments.

"Hakoku Sovereignty… so this is the true power of Hakoku Sovereignty. Hahahaha…"

With a final eerie laugh, the wax monster was crushed and launched far beyond the horizon.

"Phew…"

The two massive Elbaf Captains sighed in relief.

"It's finally over. That thing was too bizarre…"

Even with their borrowed strength from Hakoku Sovereignty, they had been uncertain whether it would be enough to destroy that abomination.

"Just us again," said Brogy.

They turned toward each other, eyeing their damaged weapons.

"Still fighting?"

Rumble…

Brogy, the Red Oni, raised what remained of his axe and let it drop with a thud, collapsing beside it.

"What's the point? You want me to bash your head in with a stick?"

Dorry, the Blue Oni, leaned on his cracked greatsword before slowly lowering himself onto the earth.

"Sigh… This must be the War God's will. Maybe there's no winner between us after all."

Brogy thumped the axe handle against his forehead.

"What were we even fighting about in the first place? Usopp keeps asking me."

Dorry looked at the drifting clouds above.

"Can't remember…"

A pause.

Then suddenly, both giants sat up and roared with laughter.

"Brother! We're going home! Finally!"

"Yes! Back to Elbaf!"

---

"Stupid cook, I won! Look at the wax fragments—clearly more are on your side!"

"Shut it, moss-head! When I kicked them, they flew toward you! I'm the one who won!"

In the dense forest, Zoro and Sanji stood among piles of shattered wax. The last of the Undead Knights had finally fallen.

They had fought relentlessly, never knowing when their strange enemies would rise again. But now—no more movement. The lifeless fragments scattered across the earth remained still.

Zoro, wiping blood from a shallow wound on his chest, muttered:

"You wanna rebuild the pieces and see which marks were made by swords or feet?"

Sanji, puffing on his cigarette, challenged:

"Fine by me. Let's see who's right."

And with that, the two began assembling the wax remains like overgrown children playing with toys.

"Heh, got a foot."

"I've got the whole lower half already."

"Heh heh heh… You two are joking, right?"

Bam!

A hard fist cracked both their skulls.

"OW! Who—!"

They turned, gripping their heads, only to see Nami standing before them, furious.

Behind her, Usopp lay half-dead on the ground, tongue lolling.

"Zoro! Sanji!" Nami seethed, fists clenched. "I've been searching everywhere and here you are playing games?!"

Sanji instantly transformed, his eyes hearts, dancing around her:

"Nami Swaaan~ Even angrier, you're divine!"

Zoro blinked.

"Weren't you too scared to get off the ship?"

Nami grit her teeth.

"I was! Until Shirogai met a giant, and suddenly we were dragged into a feast. But forget that! Baroque Works assassins are here!"

Zoro and Sanji exchanged glances, pointing to the wax.

"We've already met them. These are the assassins."

Nami stared at the debris.

"You're not lying just to avoid getting scolded?"

Sanji grinned:

"Nami san, I'd never lie to you! This moss-head nearly died. I showed up just in time to save him!"

Zoro scoffed:

"I didn't need saving."

"Sure, if being half-dead counts as 'fine.'"

Wham!

Another punch from Nami shut them up.

"No fighting! Use your words!"

Behind them, Usopp reached out weakly:

"I think… I can still be saved…"

---

Luffy blinked awake, finding Shirogai sitting calmly beside him, chatting with Vivi.

"Luffy, you're awake?" Shirogai said, handing him a water bottle. "Don't worry. The enemy's been dealt with."

"Shirogai, where are the giant uncles?" Luffy asked.

Shirogai pointed toward the shoreline.

"They're done fighting. Now they're cutting trees to build a raft."

"Who won?!"

"Both. Over 73,000 battles in a hundred years, undefeated. They've earned the War God Elbaf's blessing."

"Sugoi!" Luffy shouted, collapsing back in admiration.

Shirogai stood, brushing dust from his pristine white clothes.

"We should move on. I found this on a Baroque Works assassin."

Vivi's eyes widened.

"An Eternal Pose?"

Luffy leapt up.

"No need to wait a year now!"

Shirogai nodded.

"We're heading for the Alabasta Kingdom."

---

On the Going Merry.

The crew stood on the stern, waving to the departing giants.

"Giant uncles! We'll see you in Elbaf someday!"

"Let's have a proper banquet next time!"

"Bring some ale, old brothers!"

But suddenly, the giants shouted:

"Be careful! Island… eater… monster…!"

Confused, the crew turned to see massive waves forming ahead.

From the depths, an enormous goldfish emerged—its mouth wide enough to swallow islands.

"That thing's huge!"

Usopp trembled.

"I… I've seen that thing before…"

"There's no way around it. Should we turn back?!"

Zoro and Sanji readied themselves. Luffy tensed.

But at the ship's prow, Shirogai stood unfazed.

He smiled calmly.

"Keep going forward."

Nami gasped.

"But we'll be eaten!"

Shirogai's voice was steady.

"Trust me."

"I see!"

Luffy grinned.

"If Shirogai says so, let's go!"

No one argued. They had come to trust Shirogai's words without question.

---

Awoooo!!

The goldfish's enormous maw swallowed the Going Merry whole.

Inside its mouth, darkness.

Shirogai stepped back, eyes narrowing.

Suddenly, he was cloaked in black Armament Haki, gripping the Haki-infused blade Yubashiri in one hand.

He whispered:

"[Haki God]"

Boom!!!

A column of black light crackled with lightning as it blasted outward, evaporating the goldfish's head and punching through the sky.

Silence followed.

Then cheers.
