I'm Not A Master, I'm A Director (Creating Fate Movie In Nasuverse)

Chapter 110: Chapter 112: Times Have Changed

"How could this have anything to do with me?"

At the Matou residence, when Arturia asked a question similar to Aoko's, Shinji gave a rather irresponsible answer.

"Archer needs to stay alive, and if the fight continued, he was likely to lose. The upcoming plot requires Archer to be alive, so the fight had to stop."

Shinji smiled leisurely.

"Even if you say that, Master, weren't you the one who decided the script outline? So you're the main culprit!"

Arturia pointed at Shinji, making her judgment.

"Indeed, Master, you are not a good person."

"What are you talking about? I'm doing it for suspense, suspense!"

Shinji waved his hand, reminding her, "Archer's identity is supposed to be revealed in this episode, but it would be better to not do it quickly, so it's best to place it at the end."

"Is this to create a cliffhanger and attract viewers to continue watching the next episode?"

Arturia recalled Shinji's mention of the importance of a good cliffhanger during filming.

"Yes," Shinji nodded, then added, "Actually, I've already given many hints about Archer's identity in this episode. If analyzed carefully, it's easy to guess Archer's true name."

"But you didn't give the audience time to think," Arturia pointed out.

Though she hadn't seen the final cut, Arturia had read the script and knew how dense the upcoming scenes were.

"Exactly. Watching the audience regret not figuring it out will be very interesting, won't it?"

"..."

Even though Shinji was correct, Arturia thought that if her Master dared to say this in the fan group, they might send him hate mail.

Some might even sneak into the Matou residence and throw him into the river, turning him into a floating corpse.

'If they were to do it, should I pretend not to see it or lend a hand?'

The young knight king thought maliciously.

After all...

'No matter how many times I see it, that outfit is too shameful!!'

The skimpy outfit, bindings, and forced orders—all these elements were straight out of an R-rated scenario.

And now, TV Arturia was experiencing all of them together!

'One day, with a Command Spell in hand, I will make my Master debut while cross-dressing!'

Arturia swore to herself.

'So embarrassing. Can't she wear more clothes?'

However, the Saber on screen couldn't hear her real-life counterpart's complaints.

She was just hanging her head, panting and groaning like someone with a high fever.

Many viewers in front of their TVs cleared their throats lightly, feeling their ears tickle.

"She looks so different from the proud knight king in the movie, she's more like a girl."

Diarmuid couldn't help but laugh.

As a rival in Fate/Zero and a fellow Servant actor trained by Shinji, Diarmuid paid close attention to Arturia.

Compared to her performances in the previous two films, Diarmuid saw a touch of girlish charm in the TV version of Arturia.

"I remember she played a tyrant in another series, right? This shows the knight king's acting-zone isn't narrow."

Initially, Diarmuid thought Arturia might mess up the role because he couldn't imagine how a mature knight like her could portray a girlish feel.

But now, it seemed she was doing well.

'Do all serious women have a girlish side?' Diarmuid wondered.

Compared to the puzzled Diarmuid, Lancelot's reaction was more straightforward.

When the scene of Arturia being bound appeared on the screen, Lancelot not only held his breath but his heart nearly stopped.

So far, Arturia had starred in two films, displaying her charm as a capable knight king in both FSN and Fate/Zero.

Even the love-struck Arturia in the FSN movie didn't exude a youthful vibe, more like an elegant and refined married woman due to her acting skills.

But in UBW, Arturia's charm was entirely different.

It wasn't that this version of Arturia wasn't beautiful.

On the contrary, she was stunning!

But it was a beauty unlike before, tinged with youthful allure.

'Could it be that this white dress truly enhances my king's feminine side? Should I discuss buying more with Master?'

Lancelot mused.

However, he knew this was impossible.

Suggesting such a thing would get him executed by his fellow Round Table knights, who would willingly help his king carry it out.

Forget their absence in reality; with Master's tendencies, those guys would be summoned sooner or later.

The far-sighted Lancelot would never court death. He'd wait for others to do so.

Lancelot believed that someone would eventually fulfill his wish; he just needed to wait patiently.

"Ah... being with a despicable person like Master for so long has made my thoughts dirty. I wasn't like this before."

Lancelot blamed Shinji while contemplating what clothes to put on his king.

"This little white dress is nice, but I think something more luxurious would be even better. Adding a bit of white and black might make her look more like a princess."

"And perhaps a bubble skirt? That would be even cuter."

Lancelot found himself deeply entangled in a fantasy that would never come true.

"Oh my, that girl Arturia is getting cuter every time I see her," Medea said, resting her chin on one hand, her eyes full of pink bubbles.

For this lady, what mattered most was whether Arturia was cute.

She didn't feel this way on set, but now, through the screen, her feelings were much stronger.

When Arturia appeared in a white dress, Medea was already very excited.

When Arturia started panting, the instant burst of charm made her feel like she was about to have a nosebleed.

"It seems Arturia still has potential to be developed! And..."

Medea looked down with a puzzled expression.

"Her figure has improved? She was so flat on set..."

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆

"Of course, I edited it," Shinji proudly gave a thumbs up, showing off his big white teeth to Arturia.

"With your flat figure, that is just like a chopping board with two buttons attached to it, you wouldn't be able to pull off such a light outfit without some help from slimes."

"Master!!"

Arturia blushed and shouted, "Even for you, Master, I have my limits!"

Shinji chuckled, "I know, that's why I pushed it to the limit with this outfit."

Swimsuits and other outfits would have to wait for another opportunity.

Shinji believed that once they developed the art of spirit origin transfer, there would be a chance to get the knight king in a swimsuit.

"Master..."

Arturia clutched her dress tightly, unsure what to say.

Arguing with her Master about such things would make her look like an idiot.

Fortunately, UBW was a prime-time TV show, not a late-night one.

No matter how skimpy her outfit was, the crucial parts were well-covered.

Even if viewers pressed their noses against the screen, they wouldn't see anything.

But viewers didn't get the chance to press their noses against the screen because Shinji only gave Arturia a few seconds of screen time.

Before the audience could get closer, the camera switched to the fight between Kuzuki and Shirou.

Unless someone had a peculiar fetish, no one would press their face against the screen for two men fighting.

Even if they did, there was no need because the screen was filled with Kuzuki's fists.

Although it was just human boxing, viewers could see the trajectory of Kuzuki's punches, creating an effect often seen in hot-blooded comics: the "Thousand-Handed Kannon."

"Oh! What if we add the 'Ora Ora Ora' sound effect?!"

Aoko excitedly bit into a chip, her eyes gleaming.

"If they can film this effect, then if they solve the art style issue, they might even be able to shoot JOJO! Aozaki, do you know how Shinji Matou did it?"

Aoko decided to consult the expert beside her.

Like Shinji, she was a practical magi, so she needed to ask someone like Aozaki for theoretical stuff.

"I'm not entirely sure," Aozaki said, tapping her chin. "It should be a special magecraft created by Matou Shinji."

"I'd love to know—Holy crap! What's going on?!"

In Aoko's surprised eyes, Rin Tohsaka used Bajiquan to send Caster flying.

"Shinji Matou really enjoys humiliating magicians."

Aoko smacked her lips and commented, "In Fate/Zero, Kiritsugu Emiya used bullets to cripple Director Kayneth. Now, he's having a modern magus use fists to defeat a magus from the Age of Gods. Isn't he afraid of backlash?"

Due to the decline of mystery in this world, there's a strong veneration of ancient magus.

In the worldview of the magi, magus from the Age of Gods are invincible.

And now, Shinji Matou was showing everyone that ancient magus are no big deal; you can beat them with your hands.

"I hope Grandpa doesn't see this scene, or he'll really go to Shinji with a knife in hand."
