In Douluo, you master Wood Release and Samsara Eye at the beginning

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Isn’t this the Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger? Why is it so weak?

Jun Yan had twin martial souls — Wood Release and the Samsara Eye — but he focused on cultivating Wood Release first.

Over the past twenty years, all his spirit rings had come from plant-type soul beasts, maximizing his talent for vitality. This was also why it took him only one day to recover from his injuries.

"This time, I still want to find a plant-type soul beast," Jun Yan decided.

But in the vast Star Dou Forest, finding a suitable ten-thousand-year-old soul beast was no easy task.

After walking for a long time, he still couldn't find a soul beast that fit his needs — until he heard a tiger's roar in the distance.

The familiar sound startled Jun Yan. It was undoubtedly the roar of the Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger, but it sounded weaker than before.

"Is it injured?" Jun Yan immediately guessed. "It must have been wounded by Bibi Dong's guardian."

Indeed, the Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger had fled after being seriously injured by the elders of the Spirit Hall, unintentionally crossing paths with Jun Yan once again.

"Maybe I won't have to wait ten years for my revenge!" Jun Yan thought, moving toward the sound.

Soon, he heard two more tiger roars — and sharp dog barks.

When he got closer, he saw the Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger in the distance. It was being besieged by three Green Spirit Dogs.

Sensing its weakness, even these mid-level soul beasts dared to provoke it.

Despite its sorry state, the Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger wasn't struggling much. As one of the Green Spirit Dogs approached, the evil hook on its tail shot out, creating twisted halos in the air before piercing the dog's body and flinging its lifeless corpse to the ground.

Seeing this, the two remaining Green Spirit Dogs hesitated, unwilling to advance.

The tiger slowly stood up, gray evil energy seeping from its black fur. It raised its head, inhaled deeply, and a gray-white halo formed in its mouth.

With a roar, it shot out a ball of gray energy, striking another Green Spirit Dog. The evil energy corroded a large hole through its body, leaving not a single drop of blood.

Terrified, the last Green Spirit Dog tucked its tail between its legs and fled.

Seeing this, Jun Yan was relieved.

"It's just the last gasp of a dying beast."

The Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger, despite its power, relied heavily on devouring soul power to grow stronger and heal. It wasn't built for sustained, self-cultivation.

As Jun Yan predicted, after the final dog fled, the tiger collapsed, exhausted.

As it tried to devour the fallen dog's corpse, thick tree roots emerged from the ground, binding the body and dragging it away from the tiger's mouth.

"Isn't this the mighty Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger? I haven't seen you for just one day, and you're already this pathetic?"

Hearing the voice, the tiger looked over, confused. The young man in white, leaning against a tree in the distance, should have been dead. It had killed him yesterday — hadn't it?

Jun Yan stood up and walked slowly toward the Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger, his five soul rings rising around him in a perfect combination of yellow, purple, and black.

The third purple soul ring lit up.

Four thorny tree roots erupted from the ground, wrapping tightly around the weakened tiger.

Third Soul Skill — Dance of Thorn Trees.

The tiger, drained from its fight with a Title Douluo and the Green Spirit Dogs, couldn't resist. The roots tightened, their thorns piercing its skin, drawing blood that dyed its fur red.

Jun Yan knew of the tiger's hidden trump card: the ability to open a black hole with its evil god hook, drawing enemies into another dimension for a life-or-death duel — a technique that could rejuvenate the enemy to their childhood form while protecting itself.

To counter this, Jun Yan kept his distance, attacking from twenty meters away.

The Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger roared in agony, but Jun Yan showed no mercy. Eventually, the roars ceased.

"Is it dead?" Jun Yan muttered, stepping closer.

Suddenly, the tiger corpse opened its eyes.

With a violent twist, its tail straightened, transforming from a hook into a long, sharp thorn.

A black flash appeared — and a powerful suction force erupted.

A massive black hole, three meters wide, formed instantly. The Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger was sucked in, unable to resist.

Jun Yan, knowing the protective skill wouldn't activate immediately, didn't resist either.

In the darkness, his body weakened, his soul power drained, and he felt himself growing smaller.

Then, the surroundings brightened.

Jun Yan found himself in a vast arena. Round and endless, with no clouds, sun, or stars, the sky was filled with eternal darkness. The light came from the arena itself.

The Dark Demonic Evil God Tiger stood thirty meters away, glaring at him with anger and hatred.

But now, the mighty beast looked pitiful — barely a meter long, its wings gone, its tail reduced to an ordinary tiger's tail, and the evil god hook small and powerless.

A strange voice echoed through the arena:

"Welcome to the Arena of Life and Death. Only when one side dies can this battle end. Countdown: Five, four, three, two, one... Begin."
