I asked as this system was taking an unfamiliar path, one that I hadn't ever seen in any of the novels and fanfics that I had read in my previous life.

Yeah, my previous life, ordinary teen reincarnated in the world of Naruto after an unfortunate yet not so unfortunate car accident. More about that later.

{In layman terms, fate is the energy that the spirit of the world imbues onto the main cast, which in turn ensures that the world follows a fixed path and doesn't deviate from it. It is an instinctual application of its power to protect itself and in the long term, consequently, increase the strength of its inhabitants which also gives the spirit a boost in its strength in simple words. Your mission here is to destroy the plot as much as you can while I slowly absorb its energy. Spirits tend to gain consciousness as their strength increases and vice versa so I will be devouring its energy and in time, it will lose its consciousness during which time I can take over it essentially making us the owners of the world.

You must tread carefully though, no spirit will welcome my arrival in its world and will try it's hardest to destroy you which is why I will be giving you strength that can protect you.

Fret not though, I will use most of the energy gained to hide you from the world so that you can go and gain strength slowly while also enjoying your life.}

Though what is with this background setting. Born in itachi's generation in the Senju clan which is quite literally nonexistent. I am the only one living in this section of the village for crying out loud.' I mused as I finally decided to get out of the bed.

I live alone in this big ass home since my parents died in the war and seems like they left me quite a lot.

Yeah, you heard me right, a 5 yr old living alone in a deserted section of the village. It is at times like these where I question the minds of the upper heads of the village, preaching so much love for children yet leaving orphans to fight for themselves.

I headed to the window and opened it up, letting the cool air of 6 am hit me right in the face.

Welp, time to eat.

I was just going down to the kitchen, about to make the most heavenly bread and butter for myself when I heard a knock on my door.

Hmm. Who would come out of their way to this deserted area to visit an orphan?

Well my conditions narrow it down a lot and I think I have an inkling of who it might be.

My suspicions were proven right as I opened the door and found myself face to face with a ninja in grey vest with a mask on his face.

"Rei Senju, the hokage wishes to talk to you."

"Good morning to you too Anbu san, and yes, I am fine too thank you for asking."

He proceeded to stare blankly for a minute before I finally got exasperated and told him that I would be there soon.

"Hai" As soon as he said that, he flickered away.

'Well, there goes my plan for bread and butter, guess I will be having ramen on my way back home.'

I started making my way to the hokage's office and on my way looked here and there curiously. Konoha as always, was a wonder to behold.

Sue me, it's not every day a modern soul got to see the famed Konoha with his own two eyes.

After walking for 10 mins, I started thinking about how I should proceed from here on out.

'Hmm, well there's nothing to think about. After my business with the hokage is done and he approves my request, I can proceed from there and just follow the standard grow stronger and take over konoha route. But, if I want a headstart, then I need to get my application approved at any cost today.'

As I was thinking by myself, I saw the familiar hokage building and started preparing for the expected argument that was about to follow concerning my request.

Entering the building and climbing up the floors, even before I got close to the hokage's office I could hear the sounds of intense argument.

Checking my outfit one last time and taking a deep breath, I knocked on the door and entered as soon as I heard the word 'enter'.

There, sitting on his seat was the familiar sunny Minato Namikaze, the fourth hokage of Konoha and the yellow flash of the leaf. Minato glazing was well deserved, and I agreed with that for he was a capable shinobi and an even more capable leader which the manga and anime skipped over. But my mood soured as soon as I looked to his either side and sitting there were the notorious 'F4' of Konoha.

I had to fight that scowl that was about to come over my face on god and had to turn to the only one I found worth talking to, Minato.

"Welcome, Rei san, I hope I didn't call you at a bad time."

"Of course not Minato sama it was no trouble for me at all. After all, with the ninja academy still an year away I find myself with too much free time."

Something that no child ever would say right? I agree but there was no point pretending since none of them considered me a kid with the request that I had submitted

Danzo getting impatient over our casual talks interrupted us, "stop dilly dallying boy, I hope you know why we summoned you here?"

"Ofcourse danzo sama, if I couldn't even guess that much then I wouldn't have made such an outrageous request."

I casually replied while nodding to him as a sign of greeting and similarly greeted the other elders as well.

Minato brought us back to the reason I was summoned saying, "Rei san, I know with your capable mind as elder danzo said, you might have already guessed the reason I summoned you today. It is about the application you submitted for your immediate ascension as the clan leader of the senju clan."
