In Naruto, the System Asks Me to Entrust Pokémon

Sasuke was stunned, nearly bursting with admiration.

This was truly bold—only Naruto could be so fearless, no matter who he faced.

Shaking his head, he glanced at his Charmander. "Charmander, let's go too."

Charmander nodded and followed Sasuke to join the battle.

Zabuza was momentarily surprised as he watched Naruto's actions.

For a brief second, he wondered if he had encountered a ghost. Was this kid really a genin?

A genin using an A-rank jutsu? And it was the Multi Shadow Clone Technique at that?

Fine, maybe he came from some well-connected background and secretly learned it.

But having this much chakra—enough to summon so many shadow clones—was seriously suspicious.

Even Zabuza himself wasn't sure if he had that much chakra!

Swish!

"Hmm?"

Two vines shot toward him at high speed, causing Zabuza to stop in his tracks and step back instinctively.

His pupils dilated as he stared at the vines in shock. "Wood Release? How is that possible?!"

Every ninja knew about Wood Release, whether they were from Konoha or not.

But it was a Kekkei Genkai that hadn't appeared in ages. Aside from the First Hokage, no one had it. Yet here it was—right in front of him.

Swish!

As Zabuza pondered, the vines closed in again.

He stopped dodging and raised his executioner's blade, slashing down hard.

Slash! The blade sliced through the vines and sank into the ground.

"Something's wrong."

Zabuza frowned, muttering to himself, "Is Wood Release not as powerful as the stories claim? That doesn't add up. If it weren't so formidable, why would it be so feared?"

His gaze then fell on the Bulbasaur among the shadow clones, noticing the vines extending from its back.

His eyes widened further. "A summon beast with Wood Release?! Have summon beasts started inheriting Kekkei Genkai now? Or has the Senju Clan always been this wild?"

"Charmander, Ember!"

Another voice interrupted his thoughts.

Zabuza turned to see a red lizard with a flaming tail. It opened its mouth and unleashed a burst of flames.

Surprised again, Zabuza quickly formed hand seals. "Water Release: Water Shockwave!"

He was utterly baffled. Was Konoha really this rich now?

Even genin had summon beasts like these?

He had been an elite jonin for so long and never found such summon beasts!

The flames hit the water wall with a sizzle.

"Everyone, attack!"

"Bulbasaur, Tackle!"

A swarm of Naruto clones charged toward Zabuza, fists raised, with Bulbasaur sprinting alongside them, a green blur.

Zabuza sighed inwardly, his head aching as he swung his blade at the clones.

Pop! Pop! Shadow clones burst one after another, but Zabuza found no satisfaction.

There were just too many of them. Defeat one, and another appeared.

And Kakashi was still watching from behind.

If this dragged on much longer, Zabuza knew he was done for.

Bang!

In the midst of the chaos, Bulbasaur slammed into Zabuza's stomach, sending him stumbling backward.

Staggering a few steps, Zabuza clutched his stomach, fury blazing in his eyes.

He was an elite jonin, yet he was being pressed by two genin and their summon beasts.

And not lightly, either—his stomach still ached.

He couldn't tolerate it any longer. Standing upright, he quickly formed hand seals. "Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"

But just as his water dragon formed, a familiar voice echoed from the other side. "Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"

Boom!

Two water dragons collided mid-air, turning into a cascade of water that flowed into the nearby lake.

"Kakashi-sensei!"

Naruto and Sasuke turned, their tense faces relaxing into smiles when they saw Kakashi.

Kakashi nodded. "Let's finish this quickly."

Without further delay, Kakashi dashed forward with his Pikachu at his side.

He wasn't about to wait around. Any more surprises would only make things worse.

Naruto and Sasuke nodded, charging alongside Charmander and Bulbasaur.

"Pikachu, Quick Attack!"

"Charmander, Screech and follow up with Ember!"

"Bulbasaur, Vine Whip!"

Zabuza watched in shock as the three trainers and their Pokémon launched a combined assault.

Under their relentless attack, Zabuza quickly reached his limit.

Just as Kakashi prepared to deliver the final blow, a spray of blood erupted from Zabuza's neck, and he collapsed to the ground.

Naruto and Sasuke froze, bewildered, turning to Kakashi for answers.

Kakashi's expression darkened as he stared into the nearby forest, his brow furrowing.

"Young master, this chapter isn't over yet. Please click the next page for more excitement!"

"Everyone, thank you for capturing this rogue ninja. However, I must ask you to leave the body to me," said a figure wearing a Hidden Mist forehead protector, standing on a nearby tree, addressing Kakashi and the others.

"Body? Does that mean he's dead?"

Naruto glanced at Zabuza in surprise after hearing those words.

Sasuke, on the other hand, couldn't help but show a startled expression. Had it been that easy to kill him?

"Kakashi-sensei, is it over?"

Sakura ran over and looked at Zabuza's body on the ground, her face turning pale as she asked anxiously.

Kakashi didn't respond to his students. His sharp eyes remained fixed on the masked ninja standing in the tree. After a moment, he nodded. "Alright, we'll leave him to you."

The masked ninja, still expressionless behind the mask, nodded in response before leaping down from the tree and landing beside Zabuza.

He supported Zabuza's body and gave Kakashi and the others a slight nod. "Thank you."

With that, the masked ninja carried Zabuza's body and leapt back into the trees, disappearing from sight after a few swift jumps.

Kakashi watched the figure leave, his eyes filled with doubt and suspicion.

"Kakashi-sensei, what's wrong?" Naruto asked curiously, noticing the puzzled expression on Kakashi's face.

Shaking his head, Kakashi said, "It's nothing. Let's continue with our mission."

Without further discussion, the group—along with their Pokémon—followed Tazuna as they headed toward his home.
