Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Mission Complete
I checked the bag they were carrying to see if I could find anything that would tell me where the rest of them were, but all I found were a few forks, plates, and some bottles of liquor.
"Now how am I supposed to find them?"
I looked at the unconscious bandits and thought about my options.
"The liquor might help."
I went to check the one lying among the trees. He was pretty banged up, while the other was just knocked out from the hit I had given him.
I put both bandits together, grabbed the liquor, opened it, and poured it over them.
"That didn't work. Plan B."
Using Electro, I shocked them, causing both to wake up instantly.
"Perfect. Much better now."
"Y-You..."
They were about to say something, but I silenced them with another jolt of Electro.
"Now, are you going to tell me where the rest of the bandits are?"
Both nodded their heads.
"Perfect. Let's go."
They started leading the way, walking ahead of me.
I stored their weapons in my inventory; I might sell them in a shop or exchange them through the system—something I'd need to ask about.
We walked for 15 minutes until we arrived in front of a cave that didn't appear to have anyone inside.
"I-it's here," one of the bandits stammered.
"Thanks."
I punched them both in the stomach, knocking them out and leaving them lying on the ground.
"Well then, let's see what I find in here."
The entrance was quite large, so I entered without any trouble. Inside, I could see a few torches and several burned sticks.
"How long have they been here?"
I noticed a door and was heading toward it when it opened, revealing two bandits.
"I hope the boss doesn't get mad," said one, holding a bottle of alcohol.
"As long as he's counting his money, I don't think he'll notice," said the other.
They both stopped and stared at me.
"Hello."
I lunged at them, hitting one square in the chest, slamming him against the cave wall, and striking the other in the face with Electro to make sure he stayed down.
"Getting Boxing was an amazing stroke of luck. I'll need to acquire more combat styles."
I entered the room they had come from, which turned out to be a storage area holding food, drinks, and other supplies, but no weapons.
"All I've got are the two swords from the bandits outside. I might as well take their stuff, too."
I grabbed all their belongings and stored them in my inventory to review later.
Just then, I heard noises outside, so I waited by the door.
"Shit! There's one here!"
"And here's another!"
"But where's the one who infiltrated?"
I heard three bandits shouting as they discovered their unconscious comrades.
'I just need to hit them, and I win—they're simple bandits with nothing special... I hope.'
I waited until they were near the door. When the moment came, I crossed my arms into an X and charged, slamming one of them into the wall.
"HE'S HERE!"
Another one went for his sword, but I punched him, and I kneed the last one.
"Damn, I've got some strength. I just hope I didn't kill them. Then again... I've seen Zoro cut people and they're still alive. For now, I'll focus on taking down all the bandits."
I grabbed one of the bandits and held him in front of me as a shield in case they attacked with firearms; I had made quite a bit of noise, so it was possible they were expecting me.
"Where are they? Do you know?" I asked the unconscious one. "Of course, you can't talk."
I kept moving, searching for bandits. I defeated each one with a single hit, though I still got a few cuts, since I wasn't very skilled at using the Boxing Style or Electro yet.
After defeating a group of bandits and wandering without finding anything for a while, I was unsure what to do.
"Did I finish the mission?"
[You still have a ways to go to complete the mission.]
"I see."
Just then, I noticed an object flying toward me, and my body instinctively moved to catch it.
"An axe?"
The axe was quite large, but it seemed like it belonged to a lumberjack. I held it, and it felt easy to handle.
"If I get an Axe Combat Style, this might come in handy."
I stored the axe in my inventory. "I'll deal with that later. For now, I'll go after whoever threw it at me."
I ran down the hallway, staying alert in case another axe came flying. At the end of the passage, I saw an opening that led to a room.
"So, you're the one causing trouble in my hideout, ugly."
Inside the room stood a tall bandit with a scarred face, pimples, and a large build. He held an axe in his hand.
"Ugly? I'd say the ugly one is you. You're quite unpleasant for a bandit."
I charged at him to strike, but he swung his axe at me, so I tried something new.
I dodged his attack and touched the axe, intending to store it in my inventory—which worked.
"What the...?"
I punched him twice in the face, knocking him onto his back.
"Well, that worked."
[Mission Complete.]
[Reward: Weapon Gacha Token.]
"FINALLY!!! Now I've got another token."
I noticed a chest in the room and approached it. When I opened it, I saw a pile of money.
"Belly! And it's a lot!"
I stored all the money in my inventory and kept searching in case I missed anything.

[Omniscient POV]
Oliver was happily walking through the forest until he heard the sound of water, prompting him to rush in that direction.
"The sea!"
He headed straight to the sea to see his reflection in the water.
Looking at his reflection, he saw a man with fair skin and dark blue hair, along with two wolf ears. He checked to see if he had normal ears, but couldn't find any.
"I'm pretty handsome, although it still feels strange not having ears."
He sat down on the sand and gazed at the sea.
"I never thought I'd see such a vast ocean. I'm in One Piece, and I still can't believe it."
[Of course, you are. We wouldn't make the mistake of sending you to a world other than One Piece.]
"What do you mean, a One Piece world?" he asked, confused.
[As you know, it exists thanks to Eiichiro Oda, who was its creator—at least in your world.]
[There are thousands of universes where One Piece exists, but they differ from the one you know.]
[A reality where the characters' genders are reversed, a reality where Luffy joined the Marines, a reality where he gains different Nakama, and so many more.]
[We decided to send you to a reality that's very similar to the one you know, but that doesn't mean everything will be the same. Your mere presence here already causes changes.]
"That's a bit concerning."
He looked at his hand for a moment.
"But I can handle it, since I know One Piece—at least up until the start of the Egghead Arc. Until then, I need to grow stronger, but that's for later. Right now, the important thing is how to use my money."
He opened his status to check how much money he had.
"Three million Belly. That's a lot, but it would only be enough for one Devil Fruit."
[Would you like to know the price of each gacha?]
"Yes."
[Weapon Gacha: 500,000 Belly]
[Combat Style Gacha: 1,000,000 Belly]
[Devil Fruit Gacha: 2,000,000 Belly]
[Talent Gacha: 3,000,000 Belly]
"First, I'll use the ticket I earned from the mission."
He used the ticket for the Weapon Gacha, and a black sphere came out.
[Acquired: Steel Dagger]
"Trash. Now I've got 3 million. I could spend it all or save it for later."
He bought a ticket for the Devil Fruit Gacha.
"I'm left with 1 million Belly."
He stared at the ticket in his hand.
"A Devil Fruit, my first Devil Fruit. I could get anything, even Kaido's fruit! If I got that, no one in the East Blue could touch me."
[Error. The user cannot obtain Devil Fruits currently consumed by others.]
"Does that mean I can't get any canon ones?"
[Correct.]
"That's terrible, but it doesn't mean I can't get something good. I mean, there have to be good ones."
He grabbed the ticket and spun the gacha machine.
"Please be good, please be good."
The sphere that came out was black.
[Acquired: Sutoreji Sutoreji no Mi]
[This is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to store anything in an infinite pocket dimension on the surface of any object, making them a Storage Human.]
"Okay, okay. So, the Sutoreji Sutoreji no Mi is basically a Devil Fruit that works like an inventory?"
[Yes.]
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
He kicked the sand in frustration but ended up tripping, landing face-first into the ground.
"And now I've got sand on my face."
He stayed there for a moment, trying to calm down his anger.
