Infinite Evolution: My Idle Evolution System

Although Bella had a few unknowns centered around her existence, Cassius felt no real need to overly ponder them. But when he thought of the last girl he had a close relationship with, his whole face seemed to sporadically twitch.

'Yimin, she is... Yimin... Her entire history started with me, so there is nothing more to discuss there.'

Yimin, who had been distracted by one thing or another, now found herself in France. It was nighttime, flashy lights were everywhere, and she felt something akin to an arrow pierce through her heart. It caused her to drop her baguette and shoot her eyes in the direction of Japan.

'Wait, where did Master go!?'

'Wait, where did Yimin go?'

They thought in unison, one feeling far more urgency than the other.

'Hmm... I genuinely don't remember where she went off to, but I know through our connection that she's fine. She's probably just hungry and feasting somewhere, the moocher.'

Yimin experienced that same painful sensation. Dropping all that she was doing, she leapt up into the sky and sprouted shiny white draconic wings from her back.

"Don't worry, Master! Yimin's coming back!"

Now, it was Cassius's turn to feel something unusual—a spine-tingling shock that ran through his body.

"Just thinking about that dragon gives me goosebumps," he mumbled.

"What was that?" Bella, who was walking beside Cassius, narrowed her eyes into thin slits.

'Is he thinking about another woman while right next to me?? Is it one of those b*tches I have in my Death Note!?'

She suddenly felt the urge to track down and rip out the entrails of every single one of the homewreckers but instead smiled. She smiled, smiling and trying her utmost not to make a grave mistake before her official coronation ceremony with her husband.

Just keep smiling…

Cassius noticed something weird about her smile.

'Is she constipated or something?' he thought, yet outwardly said, "I was just thinking about something useless."

Yimin coughed up blood mid-flight and crash-landed into a small country.

"Anyway," Cassius said to change the topic. "We'll be attending the first day of Senior Year tomorrow. I just wonder if we're going to end up receiving the same classes."

"Yeah, well I hope so—I mean, it's whatever either way. But if we do end up together, then you better treat me well. I might even feel gracious enough to hook you up with a few pretty girls," said Bella, nearly fumbling her act.

Inwardly, she evilly smirked while thinking, 'I have the whole school body under my vampyric mind control, so we 'are' going to get the same classes. And if any whores so much as breathe within a certain distance of you, I'll skin them alive.'

What Bella said and what she actually felt were as if two entirely different people had taken control of her body. And the worst part being that Cassius genuinely didn't know about what was going on inside her head. Even with his Perception stat being in the thousands range, some things just weren't possible…

When Cassius and Bella walked past the city square, he looked up at the large clock tower erected in the square's center. Seeing that the time was [14:36], he realized that he only had a few hours left to complete his last Daily Quest.

"Listen, Bella, I have something important I need to do," Cassius suddenly spoke up, successfully catching her attention. "Do you mind if we talk another time—?"

"Just do whatever you want to do, I have plenty of other people I can hang out with," said Bella, nonchalant about the whole ordeal.

'I have no friends.'

"Don't feel bad about leaving me behind, because I can easily replace you."

'No one can replace you! Please stay with me forever!'

"Well? What are you still standing dumbly for? Get lost, virgin boy!"

'I… I… I love him so much…! His virginity shall be mine! I'll take it by force if need be!'

"???"

Cassius felt something extremely off about the way Bella was talking, yet took the hint and walked away from her. When he got a sufficient distance away, he blended into the crowd, then vanished.

The deadpan Bella saw him vanish because he was careless. Her brows quickly furrowed as she thought, 'His seal must be on the verge of completely shattering. I must move fast if I want everything to go right! As soon as he turns 18, I'm tying him up hog-style and throwing him into his wedding outfit! We'll get hitched within 48 hours! It's finally happening!'

It was fair to say that the delusional vampire had completely lost her coco pebbles…

Cassius appeared from the shadows, with his hood coming off the very next second. Most of his otherworldly handsome appearance was covered the majority of the time, but as today was a special occasion, he figured he'd unveil himself for once. Though, when he did, the birds that were capable of flying at this altitude looked at him and immediately went mayday.

Cassius's looks were lethal.

"This is why I have to stay hidden all the time… I even use Illusion Skills of the Ruby Rank to conceal any new changes in my appearance. Haiz…"

Shaking his planet-toppling head, he focused on the last Daily Quest pop-up—Daily Quest #60. He also pulled up the last Daily Quest for his 2nd Daily Quest series.

And boy were they bombshells of final Daily Quests...
