After several days had passed, the group received the promised potions from the magic people. Rain took charge of the situation, positioning himself as the spokesperson during this critical moment. He was present to convey a decisive message without explicitly stating their stance against the magic people an beast people.

"In the name of our queen's honor, the humans wouldn't do anything against the magic and beast people for a period of three years," Rain said. "Unless we find any signs that you are plotting to break the truce."

Rain and the others could use a bunch of things as excuse to attack them while they fight the dragons, but for some reason, Losar looked confident… it was hard to tell if it was confidence that they wouldn't attack or that they wouldn't find a chance to do so.

"Ah… this is very suspicious," Liss said while furrowing her eyebrows.

"Hey, come on." Asche said and then sighed. "Will things actually end like this?"

Rain found himself perplexed and uneasy due to the impossible of explaining the actions of their enemies. Despite their relentless efforts and strategic maneuvers, the reasoning behind their recent decisions remained a confusing enigma to him.

What puzzled Rain the most was the realization that their enemies were not unintelligent, particularly their leader, who exhibited a shrewd and calculated approach to conflict.

The confusion stemmed from the fact that the recent actions of their foes contradicted logical expectations. Their decisions lacked the typical patterns or motives that Rain could decipher, leaving him with an unsettling sense of uncertainty. He couldn't shake off the feeling that there was a hidden agenda or a larger scheme at play, yet he struggled to discern its nature or purpose.

"What now, Rain?" Asche asked while they were returning to Teria.

"... We will keep doing the same as usual, recovering faster with Power Nap and then using all the extra energy to level up Limit Breaker and Magic Boost," Rain said. "You already know the necessary paths to get Limit Breaker's path. I will be working to find the paths that will lead to Magic Boost."

"It is a annoying that all those paths focus on melee ranged techniques," Asche said and then sighed.

When Rain arrived home, he wondered how he could explain the situation to the others… even though they already knew that the truce in theory was good. Still, it seemed that other things have happened since Roan was there and looked rather depressed.

"What is wrong, Dad?" Rain asked. "It is rare for you to show up, even more so looking like that."

"... Dana is going to get married," Roan said after a long sigh.

"I guess that is the same as the world ending for you," Rain shrugged. "I saw him talking with a guy before, but she never introduced him."

"Well, you remember the jokes that you said that the person who had to marry your sisters had to defeat you first, it seems that she is very conscious of that," Roan said. "She doesn't want you seeing him until the day of the marriage."

"Not like I want to, if you vetted him properly, then I have nothing to say," Rain said.

"I don't have anything bad to say about him… but I really don't want to vet him and let my eldest daughter go," Roan said and sighed again.

"Rain, you'd better not act like him in the future," Terra said.

"I won't make any promises," Rain shrugged.
