Chapter 54: 54. Father
But he woke up in this space, at first he thought he was in the afterlife but that was not the case.
He was in the inner world of a child who was created using his blood. He didn't know how they got his blood but it should be Rizevims handiwork.
He could see snippets and short visions of what was happening, so he could understand the general situation.
It was a miracle that the boy survived and that should be the reason he woke up here, he must be a soul fragment of the original Lucifer without any negative traits thus he felt more like Helel.
He wasn't Lucifer anymore and he didn't need to be Lucifer anymore. Helel watched the boy go through many experiments that should have killed any normal child and whenever Helel felt like the child's soul would collapse he would use a bit of his strength to strengthen the soul of the child.
In the process, he felt that he was slowly fading but Helel had no regrets because he felt like he could be called the boy's father or at least this boy was the closest thing to a child to him.
Helel didn't count Rizveim because he didn't like him and he held no familial affection for that maniac.
Helel knew Rizveim would kill his own family with a smile on his face, and the only thing he cared about was chaos.
Lucifer didn't care about this because he didn't mind Rizveim's crazy behaviour as long he was useful.
But Helel did, he was an angel and no matter how much he hated humans and the world for what happened to him he didn't want everything to be in Chaos.
And the Devils were his creation how could he let his race be in danger.
If Rizveim was still alive then he should be put down, Helel felt it was only natural for a mad dog to be put down.
Maybe he had a bit of selfish reason for helping out Vivian. He believed the boy would become someone extremely influential in devil society and the Supernatural world.
Helel couldn't think of anyone else who could lead the devils to prosperity and who better to do it than his own blood.
He also wished to help his siblings out if possible, after God fell he was sure that Heaven must be on a steady decline.
He knew his brother Michael better than anybody else, he was an excellent general but he was not a ruler.
He wouldn't be able to lead the Angels to become prosperous, keeping the status quo and maintaining stability was the maximum he could do.
The inquisition needed to be cleansed but Helel doubted if Michael could be ruthless enough.
Unlike Michael, he knew how filthy human being's hearts could be, only by employing the right amount of kindness and cruelty could you keep them on a leash.
Experimenting on your own daughter, those kinds of things could only be done by a human. ( Kuroka, her dad was in cahoots with Naberius )
At first, Helel was confused when he could gather snippets and visions from Vivian's memory but it all started to make sense as time went on.
Vivian's soul was a fragment of the OG Lucifer's soul that somehow due to some sheer cosmic coincidence ended up in a clone body of his.
Vivian was a clone of Lucifer created to be a superior Devil and this body wouldn't have survived if not for luck and the existence of such a strong soul.
Helel calls it a fragment because Lucifer's soul was shattered and there was no hope of reincarnation or resurrection for him but somehow he ended up in this place.
With years to himself, he was able to get over his resentment and misgivings.
Until he was able to get snippets of the outside world through Vivian and each time he strengthened Vivian's soul he felt himself fading away little by little.
There was a connection between him and Vivian's soul as Vivian's soul was Lucifer's soul and the ego was him.
He didn't try to take over or anything because the child had an ego of his own and Helel thought of him like a child of his own.
So each time he was helping to strengthen Vivian's soul he was decreasing the chance of him being able to be resurrected or take over Vivian's body.
Helel felt pity for the child since he was treated like a lab rat from the moment he was born.
Helel had already decided that he would help Vivian out if the researchers erased his memory and made him into a mindless tool.
Helel would give all his experience and memories as both Lucifer and Helel to Vivian at the same time reminding him of the days he endured as a child.
He didn't know what kind of personality that would evoke in him but that was all he could do, but luckily he didn't have to worry about it as Zekram's daughter had saved the child.
He knew about her from his memories as Lucifer, she was one of the talented young devils on the battlefield and being from the Bael clan he was aware of her existence.
So it did give him hope of not having to fade away, as Vivian gets stronger he might be able to come here and Helel hoped the child could help him.
Because even if he was tired of living he still hoped to see his siblings one last time.....
