He stroked his hair lightly and gazed at the child with a soft smile.

Helel could see the resemblance and apart from the slightly blue sheen to his platinum hair and some minor difference, he really did resemble him.

" Child, I wish to ask a favour of you, you don't need to do it if you don't want to. Just take it as the ramblings of an Old man " Helel said with a short laugh as he held Vivian's hands.

"I.." Vivian wanted to say something but he was quickly silenced by Helel who embraced him.

" Shush, you don't need to say anything. Whether to accept or not, you can make your own judgement " Helel said softly as he hugged the boy, Helel felt a sense of satisfaction while holding the boy in his arms.

The boy will grow up to be an excellent devil, but too bad he won't be there to witness it. But it was okay as he would always be with him.

It was a father's duty to protect his son...

Vivian who was in Helel's embrace suddenly felt as if eyelids were becoming heavy and he found it difficult to stay conscious.

And before he slipped into unconsciousness he heard the gentle words of Helel.

"Goodbye my son ....." 

Vivian wanted to say something but his vision became blurry and the last thing he saw was Helel's gentle smile as the man was fading away into golden light particles...

Helel watched as both his and Vivian's bodies were breaking down into light particles and disappearing.

Helel had decided to sacrifice his whole existence so that Vivian's soul could be strengthened and he could survive whatever was happening to him.

And hopefully, it would be enough, and with this, Vivian should receive his experience of thousands of years.

Helel made sure to let Vivian experience the memories as a bystander so that It wouldn't affect his personality.

Tiamat didn't bother placing a barrier around the place they were currently in because there was no need to.

Ophis was subtly flaring her aura and anyone with half a brain cell would want to stay away.

Heavens system was once again going haywire and Michael had a dumbfounded look on his face.

" Do you want some? " Venelana's lips twitched as she gazed at the candied apple that was given to her.

She wanted to get angry and shove it away but gazing at the pure smile of innocence on the other party she just took a deep breath and replied with a forced smile " No thank you " 

" Oh.... " Venelana felt a bit bad when she heard the disappointment of the other party at getting rejected but she quickly shook her head because it was not the time for her to play around.

But still, she didn't know what to do when facing the person in front of her, who radiated this pure aura of innocence that made the people in her surroundings feel calm.

Gabriel had come to Kyoto to attend the yearly festival and she did this without notifying anyone.

She had sneaked out of heaven without telling her brother because she knew he wouldn't let her go out without any guards.

Gabriel didn't want anyone following her around and telling her what to do and what not to do.

She was having fun roaming around trying all kinds of different foods and due to her appearance, people were very nice to her.

Gabriel really liked the Yukata she was wearing, she felt giddy as she walked around visiting different stalls, and trying all kinds of food.

And as she was stuffing her face with some Takoyaki she sensed a very dangerous aura flaring a few miles away.

Although she felt curious she wouldn't have poked her nose somewhere she didn't belong because her brother had repeatedly warned her to stay away from things like this when she went out.

Usually, she would have stayed away but she sensed a very pure influx of holy energy.

It was even more purer than her brother and was much closer to her father.

Remembering her father she became a bit sad as the food in her hands didn't taste as good as before. But she still ate it and it was enough to make her mood a bit better.

Gabriel's curiosity was aroused and she decided to check it out as she started to move towards the place where she sensed the disturbance...
