July 7, 2xxx- Izumi Pov.

After a whole week of written exams... we finally got to the practical exams!!! And all of us were practically vibrating with excitement. Just like at the canon, all the teachers were waiting in the parking lot in front of the buses. All of them, and all of us, were fully dressed up.

"The practical test will start soon," Aizawa began. "Obviously, you can fail this test, too. So, if you want to go to the cabin in the woods, then I hope I don't see any embarrassing performances from you two," he said coldly. I smiled slightly. It was the same as before; at no point did Aizawa say that we had to pass the practical test to attend the camp, but even so, all the students practically bristled at the idea.

"I have no doubt they learned everything they could before the test… so they should have some ideas," Aizawa said simply.

"Yes! Robots!! I can see the fireworks now!! The curry!! The challenges!! -" Mina said excitedly and happily because of how easy the test was.

"I'm afraid not!" Nezu exclaimed as he stepped out of the bandages that made up Aizawa's weapon. My eyes sparkled with amusement. He really had been waiting there the whole time to pop out at the right moment. I love him. "Due to various reasons, we're going to be changing the content of the test… starting today!" Nezu said happily.

"What do you mean…?" Yaoyorozu asked, confused.

"Rising villains! There's been an increase in open battles against villains, and it's my duty as director to prepare you doubly for any situation!! The robot battle rehearsals are nowhere near real-world battles!! Therefore, from now on, we will concentrate our tests on fighting with people!! "

"We'll be emphasizing the teaching environment to something closer to real battles! For that reason, we'll have you pair up, to face off against one of the teachers!! " Nezu said with a crazy grin. My eyes lit up with excitement.

"With our teachers…?!" Uraraka asked worriedly.

"Now, who they will be paired with and which master they will fight against has already been decided. The way you move, your notes, and your degree of familiarity. We have personally judged how you will be paired based on all of this!! " Nezu continued speaking.

"The ten teams will begin on their respective stages simultaneously. The general idea of the test will be explained to you by the teacher, who you'll be fighting against. You will be transported by campus buses," Aizawa continued. "The teams will be as follows:

Cementoss vs Phenex and Sitri

Ectoplasm vs Kiramman and Asada

Power Loader vs Rose and Polendina

Aizawa vs Hebert and Todoroki

No. 13 vs Uraraka and Yaoyorozu

The Principal vs Ashido and Bakugo

Present Mic vs Jirou and Yunyun

Sniper vs Hagakure and Asui

Midnight vs Asuna and Azula

All Might vs Miyamura and Midoriya

Time is valuable, so head to the buses soon." Aizawa finished before turning around and walking to his designated bus.

My eyes widened slightly at the equipment. Some of it made sense. I knew how this test was supposed to work. Each teacher could target the weaknesses of each pair of students, a way to encourage them to think differently, and pass the exam. And I saw some of it.

Ravel and Sona were pretty easy to analyze. They both still hated each other, just like in the first mock combat test we had. But the team's point was pretty obvious. Forcing them to work together to break through to Cementoss, a hero capable of causing a stalemate for the duration of the test, was quite fitting.

Ectoplasm is canon; they want to force Jinx and Sinon into hand-to-hand combat. It would have been an excellent idea if it were the Jinx of the past. Jinx hadn't used her swords in a public fight yet. But I'm sure the teachers were aware of their stock; after all, Jinx had to request the materials to make them. This was also a proof of concept to see how she would fare with a melee weapon.

Ruby and Penny are the ones who had me slightly confused. Power Loader was supposed to hinder Ruby's mobility and interfere with Penny by manipulating the battlefield through traps. But... would it work against Penny? It was a shame I couldn't see the fights since they would all happen at the same time.

Aizawa vs. Taylor and Todoroki. It was practically obvious that the teachers wanted them to have a direct confrontation without quirks; after all, both of them could basically overwhelm any teacher who wasn't All Might. What I was really curious about was Aizawa's confidence in taking on Taylor head-on. Now I was really cursing myself for not being able to watch the fights.

13 was a direct counter to Uraraka and Yaoyorozu. She could eliminate anything their students threw at her.

Nezu is the one who completely confused me. Yeah, Mina made sense. But Bakugou? If Nezu had gone through with his plan to use the crane to destroy the buildings on top of the students, it would have been stupid. Bakugou would just blow up the entire building and then walk away easily. Since she gets along really well with Midoriya in this world and they have good synergy when it comes to fighting together, there weren't many other options left.

The others were obvious too. Present Mic against Jiro and Yunyun was easy; she could handle the former, and the latter was too shy and nervous to act on her own. Sniper could handle the stealthy and highly maneuverable types, such as Hagakure and Tsuyu.

Finally, Midnight, her quirk in this world worked against women, making her much more effective in this world where most of the villains were women. Asuna was practically a hand-to-hand fighter, while Azula couldn't use her chi blocking for the same reason. Still, she would have had greater range, her sleeping gas, or Azula's fire.

But at such a distance, Midnight could dodge the attacks with ease.

And finally, All Might versus Midoriya and me. And I didn't even have to think about why. But I was utterly excited for the fight. It was a rehearsal, yes, but I couldn't help but get pumped about this. I was about to face All Might. I could feel my blood starting to boil with excitement.

"Wait!" Bakugo growled as she took a step forward. "Where are my gauntlets?!" Bakugou held up her completely bare hands. She didn't even have her gloves on. Aizawa just looked at her over his shoulder.

"We took them off, it's part of your exam," Aizawa said simply. Bakugou wrinkled her nose in annoyance before clicking her tongue and heading towards her assigned bus. Midoriya looked conflicted as he looked at her before sighing and heading towards All Might.

"Well, good luck to all of you," I said, looking at the girls. All three of them nodded with a smile.

"Luck? You'll need that. You're up against All Might." Taylor said blandly, and I smiled.

"I know! It's exciting! " I said happily. Taylor snorted and smiled slightly.

"I didn't mean it like that," Taylor said, shaking her head. "We'd better get going. Aizawa's likely to fail us all if we take any longer." She said dryly. We all grimaced. Even the others who were listening grimaced and quickened their pace. I laughed lightly.

"Don't be so loud, or if he hears it, he'll probably think it's an idea," I said playfully. "Do you want... some of them?" I asked, pointing at my shadow. Taylor pouted but shook her head.

"I would like to, but it's against Aizawa, I don't think I'll even have the chance to use them." Taylor said regretfully. I simply nodded.

"Well, see you soon, I hope you pass." I said playfully.

" You better pass! I want to go to that cabin with you! " Ruby said as she pointed at me. I simply laughed and nodded. I looked over at Azula, who was wearing her military uniform and, to my surprise, had the Nichirin sword on her hip. She had begun using it more and more often. She simply nodded, and I smiled at her.

With a final nod, I approached All Might.

"Shall we leave?" All Might asked happily once I approached. I simply nodded, and Midoriya did the same. In no time, we were already on the bus, heading to the fictional city that was our destination.

"So? What's our disadvantage? " I asked in All Might's direction as we rode on the bus. All Might was at the front, while Midoriya and I were facing each other a few seats behind him.

"Disadvantage? I don't understand, Young Miyamura." All Might said, confused. Izuku also looked at me curiously. I simply hummed.

"Disadvantage, weakness, whatever you want to call it. That's how this exam is designed, isn't it?" I asked again.

"Wait, what? Weakness?" Midoriya asked, confused.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Young Miyamura." All Might said, terribly nervous. Yeah... he was a terrible liar too, I guess, like father, like son. Izuku noticed it too and narrowed his eyes.

"...the teachers judged everything about us, our grades, familiarity, movements, and that would only help if they had the motive to put us against a teacher who-" Midoriya began to mutter quickly before stopping, and his eyes widened. "Phenex and Sitri don't get along; they have to fight together. Kiramman and Asada are weak in melee; they'll have to overcome that weakness. Hebert and Shoko use their Quirks a lot to overwhelm their enemies, and they're fighting against Aizawa-sensei, Kacchan- "

"Okay! Okay! They figured it out! " All Might said in a panic. I laughed lightly. All Might sighed. "How did you find out, Young Miyamura?" All Might asked in a weak voice. I simply shrugged.

"It was pretty obvious. Aizawa-sensei and the principal practically gave all the necessary information." I said simply, All Might grimaced.

"You really are perceptive," All Might said simply.

"That's amazing! I never would have thought there was some kind of logic behind the fights, but it makes sense! Nezu said it's for the growth of villains, and the first thing he'd have to address is each other's weaknesses. Or at least help us become more aware of them." Midoriya said, almost vibrating in his seat. All Might nodded.

"It is, just like Nezu said, it's our duty to prepare you for any eventuality, and putting you in a bad position is the best way to do it." All Might confirmed. I bowed once more.

"So, our weaknesses?" I asked, genuinely curious. Midoriya leaned in as well, waiting for the answer. All Might wrinkled his nose as if considering it, then sighed after a few seconds.

"You have no weaknesses," All Might finally said, my eyes widening slightly. "Or at least, not as marked as your classmates. You're both strong, and will become even stronger the more you train. You, young Miyamura, are very unlikely to ever lose unless you fight another S-rank, while you, Izuku, are also growing faster and faster."

"So, what are your 'disadvantages'? You ask. Your task is to fight against a superior and overwhelming force." All Might said as his eyes shone with intensity. All Might let out a large burst of his Aura, causing Midoriya and I to shudder. My smile grew widely, and to my surprise, Midoriya looked excited as well.

We spent the rest of the trip in excited silence. Now that I think about it, it would have been a good opportunity to ask about Shigaraki, but I guess the time has passed. There's always another time.

Once we arrived at the chosen battlefield, All Might began explaining the exam. It was just as I remembered. Treat All Might like a true villain. The fight would last 30 minutes. We would have to either handcuff All Might or escape the battle zone. And finally, the "handicaps," which were the weighted wristbands.

All Might said they were half his weight, but… did that matter? All Might was able to knock down buildings with a fist; he and Izuku had lifted things heavier than their own weight. Wristbands half his weight were nothing, at least to All Might. Handicaps were an illusion.

Once All Might finished explaining and left us in the center of the arena, he walked off, leaving us alone. Recovery Girl's voice came over the speakers, signaling the start of the fight.

"W-what do you think we should do? We should avoid fighting at all costs! " Midoriya said quickly, slightly nervous as he looked around. I hummed as I walked. My hip felt empty without any of my swords, but they were with me, in my shadows.

"That would be the wisest thing to do, wouldn't it? " I asked simply with a smile. Midoriya seemed to sigh in relief. "But... do you really think he'll let us escape?" I asked with a feral grin as I turned in the direction of the monstrous aura All Might had begun to release.

"W-what?" Izuku asked in confusion. I moved my hand and grabbed Izuku's neck, just in time for the massive shockwave from All Might's fist to shake us both to the ground. Midoriya held onto my arm as I held on tight.

"GET READY... HERE I COME!" All Might exclaimed as he slowly approached. " COLLATERAL DAMAGE TO THE CITY, WHO CARES? IF YOU'RE THINKING OF IT AS SOMETHING EASY, PREPARE TO SUFFER. I'M A VILLAIN AGAINST HEROES, COME AT ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART IN IT! " All Might said.
