Ye Chen and Zhao Yanyan finally finished their meal.

"Ye Chen, we should return to class immediately. Next is a lesson from Teacher Lin Rouxi," Zhao Yanyan reminded him.

However, Ye Chen was unfamiliar with the name since he didn't recall any teacher named Lin Rouxi in his class. "Alright, Yanyan, let's go back together," he said.

As Ye Chen reached for the bill, Zhao Yanyan tried to stop him. "Ye Chen, let me pay. It's quite expensive."

Ye Chen shook his head. "It's okay, Yanyan. I still have enough money to cover this. Besides, in the future, I will work hard to earn more and make you happy," he said with determination.

Zhao Yanyan smiled warmly. "I believe in you, Ye Chen. I know you'll be successful, and I'll always support you every step of the way."

Hearing her words filled Ye Chen with happiness. It meant a lot to him that Zhao Yanyan trusted him so much.

Before leaving, Ye Chen put on a leather mask to avoid unnecessary trouble.

"Ye Chen, why are you wearing that mask? You look better without it," Zhao Yanyan asked, puzzled.

Ye Chen sighed. "Yanyan, I don't really want to wear it either, but you saw how people reacted earlier. If I don't wear this mask, your boyfriend might get kidnapped by another girl," he joked.

Zhao Yanyan rolled her eyes. "You praise yourself too much."

They finally arrived at their classroom just as the bell rang. As they returned to their seats, Zhang Liao, one of Ye Chen's classmates, approached him.

"Ye Chen, where have you been? I looked for you everywhere in the canteen but couldn't find you," Zhang Liao said.

"Oh, I just had lunch with Zhao Yanyan at a restaurant nearby," Ye Chen replied casually.

Zhang Liao's eyes widened in shock. "What?! You had lunch with one of our school's most beautiful girls?"

Zhang Liao had seen many guys try to ask Zhao Yanyan out, only to be rejected every time. And yet, Ye Chen had casually eaten with her.

"It looks like you and Zhao Yanyan are pretty close," Zhang Liao remarked, taking a sip of water.

Ye Chen smiled. "Of course, she's my girlfriend."

Hearing this, Zhang Liao choked and sprayed water from his mouth. "What did you just say?! Zhao Yanyan is your girlfriend? Are you feeling okay?"

Ye Chen turned to Zhao Yanyan. "Yanyan, explain it to him so he understands."

Zhao Yanyan nodded. "Yes, Zhang, it's true. I'm Ye Chen's girlfriend now."

Zhang Liao looked like he had just been struck by lightning. "Ye Chen, you're incredible. On your first day in our class, you've already won over our school's most admired girl!"

Ye Chen simply smiled. Before they could continue their conversation, the homeroom teacher entered the classroom. To Ye Chen's surprise, she was a stunning beauty, rivaling Zhao Yanyan. She also had a well-developed figure that caught the attention of many students.

"Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Lin Rouxi, and I am your homeroom teacher. I am introducing myself again because we have a new transfer student in our class," she said while looking at Ye Chen.

"New student, please introduce yourself to the class," Lin Rouxi instructed.

Ye Chen stood up and walked to the front. "My name is Ye Chen. I'm 17 years old and from XXX Village. I look forward to studying with you all."

Lin Rouxi raised an eyebrow. "That's it? That's all you have to say?"

Someone in the class chuckled. "Teacher Lin, we're not on a blind date here."

The class erupted in laughter, but it was short-lived as Lin Rouxi slammed a book onto the desk. "Silence!"

The students immediately quieted down. Lin Rouxi sighed. "You may return to your seat, Ye Chen."

Ye Chen nodded and sat down.

"Alright, everyone, take out your English textbooks," Lin Rouxi instructed.

To Ye Chen's surprise, the previously chatty and playful students suddenly became obedient. This made him wonder what kind of authority Lin Rouxi held over them.

As he sat down, Zhao Yanyan leaned toward him. "Ye Chen, you're really bold, teasing Teacher Lin in front of the whole class. Aren't you afraid her fans will come after you?"

Ye Chen smirked. "Why should I be afraid? If anyone causes trouble, I'll just deal with them."

Zhao Yanyan giggled. "Alright, let's focus on the lesson now."

"Anything for you, my beautiful queen," Ye Chen replied with a grin as he opened his textbook.
