Journey to become a Sword god

Sorry for the late update I was busy with my personal life and I changed my mind couple of times on how I should proceed with the story.

The next day, early in the morning at 5 a.m, Kojiro woke up; he picked up the scroll that Onoki gave him yesterday and went to his usual training ground at the outskirts of the village after he had his breakfast.

Kojiro sat on the ground cross-legged after he arrived at the training ground and then he started reading the scroll that Onoki gave him.

After Kojiro read the scroll carefully, he stood up and thought to himself, "This Mud Clone jutsu is a very useful jutsu. I can use it with the substitution jutsu to dodge an attack to avoid getting hit."

After coming to this conclusion, Kojiro stood up and started following all the instructions written in the scroll perfectly and performed four hand signs.

"EARTH STYLE: MUD CLONE."

Next to Kojiro, two mounds rose from the ground on both of his sides, and then they transformed into exact copies of himself.

Kojiro blinked when he saw the two clones, then he chuckled to himself, "Onoki-sensei said it will take time for me to learn and master this jutsu, but I executed this jutsu on my first try. I think I am a prodigy when it comes to ninjutsu."

Kojiro then said to himself, "Anyway, I will practice this jutsu for some time before I continue cultivating the foundation body cultivation method.

After making up his mind, Kojiro started practicing the mud clone jutsu.

After one hour of practicing the mud clone jutsu; Kojiro walked towards the iron stone and started punching the iron stone with all of his strength.

Onoki and Kojiro arrived at the Chiba clan mansion. When the guards saw Onoki and Kojiro, they quickly escorted them inside.

Yamamoto and the elders were waiting for Onoki and Kojiro to arrive. They smiled when they saw the Chiba clan gate guards were escorting Onoki and Kojiro to the training ground.

Yamamoto smiled at Onoki and said, "Tsuchikage-sama, I'm glad you came. I hope your student is ready for the trial."

Onoki smiled and nodded his head. He then said to Yamamoto, "Yes, Yamamoto-dono, little Kojiro is ready for the trial at any time."

Yamamoto smiled when he heard this and said to Onoki, "Good, we will start our trial now."

Yamamoto then turned to one of the elders next to him and ordered him, "Isshin, go and summon the clansmen that we have chosen for this trial."

Isshin was a middle-aged man with black spikey hair, black eyes, an ordinary face, sharp eyebrows, and a muscular physique.

Isshin bowed to Yamamoto, and then he used the shunshin jutsu to leave the training ground.

Yamamoto kept smiling at Onoki and said to him, "The trial is simple, Tsuchikage-sama. Your student will face 50 of our younger generation in a Kenjutsu duel. He will need to survive for one hour against them. If your student is able to survive for one hour, you win the bet. Also, if your student is able to defeat all of them, we are willing to reward your student a two low-rank Kenjutsu style instead of one."

Kojiro smiled when he heard this, and Onoki was about to say something to Yamamoto, but he was interrupted by Kojiro.

"I accept these conditions, Yamamoto-dono." Kojiro said to Yamamoto while smiling at him.

All the elders smirked when they heard his answer, especially Kenpachi, who was giving a bloodthirsty smirk.

Onoki frowned at hearing what Kojiro just said. He turned to Yamamoto and said to him, "Excuse me for a moment, Yamamoto-dono."

Onoki grabbed Kojiro from his collar then he started pulling him, and they exited the training ground.

Outside the training ground

"What the hell, kid? Are you out of your mind? There is no way you could fight against 50 Chiba clansmem." Onoki said to Kojiro seriously.

Kojiro smiled when he heard what Onoki just said to him He then replied to Onoki, "I don't care about losing or winning, sensei."

Onoki widened his eyes when he heard this and Konjiro continued, "you told me if I need to improve my Kenjutsu, I need to fight against others who specialize in Kenjutsu This is a great opportunity for me to gain experience and test myself."

Before Onoki could reply to Kojiro, he sensed Isshin and 50 other shinobi walking towards them.

Onoki then sighed and said to Kojiro, "Fine, kid, have it your way, but you better not have me lose face."

Kojiro chuckled when he heard this, and he said to Onoki, "Don't worry, sensei; I will make you proud."

Onoki smiled when he heard this, and they re-entered the training ground.

In the training ground 

After Onoki and Kojiro returned to the training ground, Isshin and 50 of the Chiba clan's young generation entered the training ground.

The tanned-skinned middle aged woman had an elegant face, a curvy feminine body, and big eyes. She walked forward and gave Kojiro and the other 50 Chiba clan young generation a wooden practice sword each. 

She then said to them, "Alright, all of you listen up. I will not repeat myself. You all know about this trial, so I will not bother explaining it to you. I will only say I want a clean duel from all parties. Now begin."

A boy with a shaved head, fair skin, black eyes, and an ordinary-looking face looked arrogantly at Kojiro. He looked like he was 11 years old. He turned his head to the rest of his clansmen and said to them, "I will take care of this kid; you all stand back."

Many of the Chiba clan's young generation scoffed at him when they heard what he just said, but they didn't comment.

The boy charged at Kojiro, raised the wooden sword above his head, and swung it downward at Kojiro.

Kojiro raised his wooden sword elegantly and deflected the bold boy's sword strike using the tip of the wooden sword; he then swung his own wooden sword and smacked it on the boy's face hard.

"BAM."

The boy fell on the ground hard after receiving Kojiro's strike.

The elders and Chiba clan's young generation widened their eyes at what they saw; however, Onoki smirked with pride at what he witnessed.

Kuske stood next to the tanned-skinned woman and said to her, "Yoruichi, this kid has incredible swordsmanship instinct; he reminds me of you."

Yoruichi smiled when she heard Kuske comment, but she didn't reply to him.

Suddenly, Kojiro heard the system notification in his head.

Ding, Congratulations, host, you earned 10 cultivation points.

Kojiro's eyes widened for a second when he heard this; he then smirked to himself and thought, "Perfect, I can farm some points from these guys; After this trial I might be able to buy some elixirs or pills that will help me make a breakthrough in my cultivation."

When the Chiba clan young generation saw Kojiro smirking, they narrowed their eyes and gritted their teeth in anger Then a red-haired boy who looked like he was 13 years old and had tanned skin said in an angry tone to his fellow clansmen, "This kid is looking down on us; let's finish him off."

The boy had sharp eyebrows, a ferocious-looking face, and a leam muscular physique.

The other Chiba clan young generation nodded their heads seriously when they heard this, and they quickly started molding chakra and coating the wooden swords with chakra.

"WESH, WESH, WESH, WISH, WESH, WESH."

Kojiro's eyes widened when he saw this, and he noticed that all of the ones he was facing were coating their wooden swords with chakra; the chakra was quite visible to the naked eyes.

He then noticed some of the chakra coating the wooden swords was flickering in and out of existence.

Kojiro smirked and thought to himself, "I see; I remember now it is the same chakra-molding method that the samurais used when they fought against Sasuke in the Kage summit."

He then continued thinking, "Seeing it in front of me, I can deduce that the principle of this chakra molding technique is similar to the wall-walking exercise that Sensei taught me yesterday, but the differences are the high amount of chakra and maintaining the chakra flow."

"WESH."

Kojiro then surprised everyone present by coating his chakra around the wooden sword just like Chiba clan young generation he was facing.

Yoruichi widened her eyes in shock when she saw this along with the other elders Onoki, Yamamoto, and Chiba clan young generations.

Kojiro smirked, and he then swung his wooden sword horizontally in the air, and a chakra slash flew towards the Chiba clan's young generation.

"WISH."

Everyone was shocked at seeing this, and the Chiba clan elders were speechless. when they saw the chakra slash flying towards the young generation.

One of the Chiba clan's young generation was sent flying after he got hit by the chakra slash.

Kojiro frowned when he saw his chakra slash didn't cut his opponent at all; instead, it sent his opponent flying. He then thought to himself, "I didn't cut him. later I need to improve my flying slash to cut anything in the future."

Kojiro quickly raised his wooden sword while coating it with chakra, and he started sending multiple flying slashes towards his opponents.

Onoki quickly smiled widely when he saw only 5 Chiba clan young generation remaining.

Yoruichi gave an elegant smile when she saw Kojiro's performance, and Kuske noticed her smile. He then chuckled and said to her, "You seem very impressed, Yoruichi."

Yoruichi scoffed when she heard this and she said to Kuske, "don't play dumb with me, Kuske you have an IQ above freaking 200; from one glance, I am sure you deduce that the kid is a prodigy in Kenjutsu."

Kuske chuckled when he heard what she said to him. He then said to Yoruichi, "You are right; he is a true prodigy in the way of the sword, but what is scary about him is his observation and analytical talent along with his swordsmanship instinct. If the kid was born in the Land of Iron, I have no doubt the Shogun would have taken him as his apprentice."

The five opponents that remain after Kojiro unleashes multiple chakra slashes surrounded Kojiro and looked at him seriously.

One of Kojiro's five opponents is the same age as Kojiro he had a silver spikey hair, blue eyes, fair skin, sharp eyebrows, and lean physique.

The boy name is Toshiro Chiba he is considered a prodigy in the Chiba clan and he currently attending Iwa ninja academy.

The second of Kojiro's opponents is a a slim girl she had a black hair tied in two ponytails, the girl had a big black eyes, fair skin, cherry like lips, elegant face, and elegant eyebrows.

The girl name is Soi Fon Chiba she is the personal disciple of elder Yoruichi.

The third opponent was a blond blond boy who look couple of years older than Kojiro.

His blonde hair cover one side of his face the boy look like a 13 years old his name is Tanjiro.

Tanjiro had a azure color eyes, ordinary face, sharp eyebrows, fair skin, and lean muscular physique.

Next to Tanjiro stood a short girl she had a short black hair, big black eyes, fair skin, lean physique, tender lips, and fair skin.

The girl name is Rukia she is the younger sister of elder Bayakuya.

The fifth and the opponent that sorrounded Kojiro was the same red haired boy that encourage all the Chiba clan young generation his name is Renji.

Kojiro looked at the five who surrounded him then he thought to himself, "I need to sperate them quickly."

He then smirked to himself when he came up with an idea at how to separate his opponents from each other.

He focus his chakra on the bottom of his feet when he saw his opponents striking him with their wooden swords from every direction and then he desappeared from their sight.

"SWISH."

Renji, Rukia, Tanjiro, Soi Fon, and Toshiro were stunned and they started looking around the training ground for any trace of Kojiro.

When Soi Fon looked up she saw Kojiro coating his wooden sword with chakra and started swinging the wooden sword multiple times she yelled to Renji, Rukia, Tanjiro, and Toshiro, " everyone be careful he is up there."

"WESH, WESH, WESH, WESH, WESH."

When all of them looked up and they saw multiple chakra slashes descending towards them.

Soi Fon and Renji coated their wooden sword with chakra and they started blocking the chakra slashes with their wooden sword.

"BAAM, BAAM."

Rukia, Tanjiro, and Toshiro started dodging the chakra slashes by dashing either to the right or to the left.

When Kojiro landed on the ground he charged at Rukia while coating his wooden sword with chakra then he started swinging his sword sword at her elegantly.

Rukia blocked all Kojiro's sword strikes then Kojiro faked a sword strike to her right, left, and at her head.

Rukia fell for Kojiro's fake maneuvers then Kojiro thrusted his wooden sword hard at Rukia chest.

"BAAM."

Rukia spat out a mouthful of saliva from her mouth after Kojiro thrusted his wooden sword on her chest hard then she fell on the ground harshly.

After Kojiro defeated Rukia he heard the system notification in his head.

Kojiro suddenly noticed Renji attacking him from his right side, Tanjiro from the left side, and Toshiro from behind.

Kojiro quickly flipped in the air above Toshiro to dodge their encirclment.

However, Soi Fon predicted Kojiro action she charged at his landing point but Kojiro with his high level of observation talent noticed her action and swung his wooden sword at her head.

"BAAM."

Soi Fon raised her wooden sword and blocked Kojiro strike however, Kojiro then uses his right foot and steped on her head then landed on the ground behind Soi Fon.

 Soi Fon was stunned when Kojiro stepped on her head and out maneuvering her.

After Kojiro landed on the ground he focuses his chakra on the bottom of his feet and charged at Soi Fon with incredible speed he swung his wooden sword on Soi Fon back the sword swing was incredibly smooth, elegant, fast, and heavy.

"BAAM."

When Soi Fon got hit with the sword strike she hit the ground hard.

After Kojiro defeated Soi Fon. Toshiro, Renji, and Tanjiro charged at Kojiro and swung their wooden sword at him but Kojiro raised his wooden sword and blocked their attack.

"BAAM, BAAM, BAAM, BAAM, BAAM."

Kojiro started clashing against Toshiro, Renji, and Tanjiro his swordsmanship was improving with every clash.

All Chiba clan elders, Onoki, and Yamamoto noticing Kojiro's improvement and Yaruichi smiled when she saw this and she said to herself, "he is really a genius "

Kojiro foot work and swordsmanship were becoming smoother, faster, and more precise he then started overwhelming Toshiro, Renji, and Tanjiro with his swordsmanship skills.

"BAAM."

Kojiro swung his wooden sword and smacked Renji in the head with great force and Renji fell to the ground.

After defeating Renji Kojiro was attacked by Tanjiro and Toshiro from both sides.

"BAAM, BAAM, BAAM, BAAM, BAAM."

Kojiro narrowed his eyes when he saw this and he started retreating while blocking their sword strikes elegantly.

Kojiro kept using his foot work while deflecting Toshiro and Tanjiro sword strikes while waiting for opening to counter. them.

"BAAM."

When Kojiro saw an opening he kicked Tanjiro hard in his stomach.

Tanjiro spit out saliva and blood from his mouth and was sent flying.

Kojiro then started attacking Toshiro with all of his strength farociosly every swing of his wooden sword were heavey for Toshiro to block and the wooden sword on Toshiro wooden sword slipped from his grasp.

After the wooden sword slipped from Toshiro grasp Kojiro pointed the wooden sword at Toshiro's throat.

Toshiro sighed and smiled at Kojiro he then said to him, "you are good I surrender."

After Toshiro surrendered Kojiro heard the system's notification again in his head.

After Kojiro heard the system notification he started walking slowly towards Tanjiro.

Tanjiro stood up with difficulties one of his hands clutching his stomach where Kojiro kicked him and the other hand clutching his wooden sword hard.

Kojiro stood in front of Tanjiro and took his swordsmanship stance.

Tanjiro looked at Kojiro with narrowed eyes and said to him, "you are really talented in swordsmanship but I never thought that you will also be physical strong that kick almost knocked unconscious."

Kojiro smiled when he heard this and he said to Tanjiro, "I have trained my body for some time this is the result of my hard work."

Tanjiro looked at Kojiro with eyes full of respect and said to him, "you earned my respect but I will not yield to you because I represent the Chiba clan."

Kojiro smiled and nodded his head then he said to Tanjiro, "alright, let's settle this."

"BAAM."

Kojiro charged at Tanjiro swung his wooden sword with all of his strength and Tanjiro blocked the wooden sword with difficulties.

"Damn his sword swing is so heavey." Tanjiro thought while taking couple of steps back.

"BAAM, BAAM, BAAM, BAAM, BAAM."

Kojiro smirked then he started using his foot work and started dancing around Tanjiro while swinging his wooden sword at him whenever he found an opening.

Tanjiro was too slow to act and blocked Kojiro's sword strikes because Kojiro movement were too fast and unpredictable.

Kojiro then saw another opening and swung his wooden sword at Tanjiro wrist and Tanjiro's wooden sword dropped on the ground.

Kojiro pointed the wooden sword at Tanjiro throat and said to him while smiling, "you lost."

Tanjiro sighed and nodded his head to Kojiro then Kojiro heard the system notification in his head saying.

After hearing the system's notification Kojiro gave unnoticeable smirk, he turned around, and started walking towards Onoki.

"Good I am sure now I can buy pills and elixirs that I need with all the points I just collected." Kojiro thought to himself.

Onoki looked at Kojiro who was walking towards him his eyes were shining with pride and he thought to himself, "I am really lucky to have such a genius disciple his Kenjutsu was improving by leaps and bounds when he was fighting against Chiba clan young generation."

Yaruichi who was standing next to Kuske smiled and said to Kuske, "I have decided."

Kuske was confused when he heard this and he looked at Yaruichi, "what are you talking about?"

Yaruichi smirked when she heard Kuske question and she said to him, "you will know soon Kuske, I am leaving see you around ."

Yarauichi then turned around and exited the training ground.
