Chapter 86: Chapter 86: Themyscira Beyond the World

"Woo-ha—" The galloping hooves echoed like thunder through the forest.

The young girl let out a cheer.

"Diana, slow down!" Honestly, if she weren't the daughter of the tribe's queen, there's no way she'd be running wild with this little troublemaker.

"Let's see who gets to the beach first!" Diana cracked her riding crop, and the black horse beneath her surged forward, leaping over obstacles and weaving through trees, quickly pulling away from her attendant.

"Oho~" Diana reveled in the rush of fresh air against her face. She could already hear the sound of waves crashing nearby.

With one final leap over a sloped drop, the horse soared into the air and landed on the sandy shore. "I'm first!"

"Hm?" Before she could even enjoy her victory, Diana spotted two strange figures on the beach—one dressed in black, the other in white. Their odd outfits piqued her interest.

"Let's go take a look!" she said to her horse, and the obedient steed trotted forward, quickly bringing her to the scene.

Were they really people? Diana dismounted.

Liu A'dou and Ada's hats and masks had long been swept away by the sea. Their cloaks and clothes were in tatters. But they were still alive—and had washed ashore on a mysterious island: a nation made up entirely of Amazons—Themyscira.

"Come quick, there are two castaways here!" Diana poked Liu A'dou's face, clearly curious about who he was.

"By Gaia! That's a man?!" the attendants exclaimed in shock.

"A man?" So he really was a man. Didn't look much different from a woman. "They're hurt. We have to help them."

Some of the attendants hesitated. Men weren't allowed on the island.

"Quick, lift them onto the horses. We can't just let them die. As the Princess of Themyscira, I command you—bring them back with us!"

The attendants exchanged glances but ultimately stepped forward to help. After all, they didn't really know what was supposed to be so dangerous about men.

This was death—cold and helpless. Liu A'dou stood at the very edge. One step further and he would fall completely.

But Liu A'dou, who possessed infinite lives, had no fear of death. Even if every death god in existence came for him, they still couldn't take all of his lives.

And because of that, death couldn't take him—but it wouldn't kindly send him back to the living world either. So he was stuck awkwardly between life and death. Though he wasn't afraid, being caught in this limbo wasn't pleasant either.

He realized that in this world, death wasn't an end. It was best not to die if possible. But being stuck like this—neither dead nor alive—was infuriating. So he struggled desperately through the mire at the edge of death, pushing forward again and again.

A day, a month, a year, or even ten years—Liu A'dou lost all sense of time in the illusion. His soul grew more and more fatigued, but he never stopped struggling. Whether life or death, there had to be a result.

Heaven helps those who help themselves.

Eventually, he saw light—glowing from Pandora's Magic Box.

Liu A'dou didn't hesitate. Or perhaps he didn't even know why, but he stepped into the box. Maybe to him, plunging into an ocean of knowledge was better than trudging endlessly through darkness and mud. At least pain was something.

"Oh my god, they're holding hands so tightly."

"They must really love each other." Even Amazonian warriors were still women—they had emotions too.

Since the age of myth, they had been gifted this island by Hera. Here, they did not age, fall ill, or suffer injuries. The women lived as they pleased—training, working, and fighting on their own terms.

But the price was severing ties with the outside world. For over a thousand years, the Amazons had not seen a man. Their lineage continued only by Hera's blessing—sculpting a fetus from sand and sincerely praying until Hera granted it life.

They hadn't seen love in a very long time.

"But we need to separate them so we can treat their injuries," someone said.

They stepped forward, but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't pry Liu A'dou's hand free—his grip was too tight.

"Let me do it!" Diana couldn't take it anymore. The attendants were too weak—she'd have to step in herself. Trained since childhood under the strictest discipline, Diana was the finest among all Amazonian warriors. She stepped up, cradled the back of Liu A'dou's hand with one palm, then worked her fingers into the gaps between his to pry them apart.

She pushed hard. No movement?

Diana was stunned. No—that wasn't right. She hadn't used her full strength yet. Besides, his hand had moved. Just barely. If she used all her strength, she could definitely break his grip.

Yes—full strength! All in!

She clenched her teeth, jaw twitching, muscles tensing.

Princess Diana made her move.

It moved—his hand definitely moved. Diana saw it. She just needed one more push. "Aaaaah—"

She was about to snap Liu A'dou's fingers clean off.

Boom—

"Ahhh!"

Diana flew backward, slamming into the wall. Several of her attendants were blasted away by a shockwave, sent tumbling like rag dolls.

The entire room warped, as if the space around them had been twisted. The Amazons felt like they were floating in the cosmos, and right in front of them appeared a massive constellation.

"What is this?"

"It's the universe!"

All of Themyscira trembled. Every Amazon warrior was alerted. Outside, they could see the building completely wrapped in a sphere glowing with starlight and galaxies—like a miniature cosmos. No one could get inside.

"Can someone explain what's happening here?!" the tribe's matriarch—Queen Hippolyta, Diana's mother—demanded with authority.

"Princess Diana rescued two people from the beach, one of them a man," reported a witness.

So the strange phenomena were tied to those two survivors? "A man?" How many years had it been? Ever since their war with Ares, they hadn't seen a man in ages. Looks like history was bound to repeat itself. "Amazon warriors, assemble—"

From all corners of the island, women in light armor and carrying all kinds of weapons surged forth. They gathered behind the queen and quickly formed a tight formation, ready for anything.

Boom—

Diana stared in shock as the man in front of her slowly sat up, white light pouring from his eyes. "Ahhh—" He raised his head and howled, and it seemed as though the cosmos around them were being drawn into Liu A'dou's body.

Then, he pressed his palms together. His aura calmed instantly. The force that had just blasted Diana and the others away vanished, like it had never been there.

Liu A'dou turned to Ada, who was lying to the inside of the bed. His hands, now wrapped in golden Ripple energy, slammed down onto her chest and abdomen.

Cosmic Immortal Ripple surged forth—

Supported by the Eighth Sense and his microcosmic cosmos, this super Ripple flowed continuously into Ada's body, rapidly healing her wounds.

No—it was more than that. The Ripple was too strong.

Ada's cells couldn't absorb that much life energy. The excess overflowed from her body, pure energy spreading into the ground, then through the earth across every corner of Themyscira.

Flowers bloomed. Dead trees came back to life. Injured animals recovered. Aging beasts regained their youth—

"Everything is reborn? This is the power of Mother Gaia?!" the Amazonian queen stared, dumbfounded, at the sight—something that hadn't appeared since the era of the gods. The natural order was reversing itself.

All life on the island was being blessed, becoming livelier and healthier.

Could he be the reincarnation of Gaia? The queen was speechless.

Of course, he wasn't Gaia.

This was Liu A'dou—awakened at the edge of life and death, having grasped the Eighth Sense and inherited endless knowledge from the realm inside Pandora's Magic Box.
