Kakashi Masters All Elements, Rewrites the Ninja World for Rin!

Chapter 63: Chapter 63: Obito Kidnapped

"Ahhh, damn brat!"

"I'm dragging you to hell with me!"

Earth Style: Rockfall Collapse!

A furious roar erupted behind Kakashi as the cliff wall above him began to tremble violently. Massive boulders broke loose and rained down.

The attacker—an Iwagakure shinobi who had escaped earlier—was back, blade drawn, charging straight at Kakashi with zero regard for his life.

"Oh great, it's you again," Kakashi muttered. "Hold the applause."

"Rin! Obito! Get out of the cave—I'll be right behind!"

With his right hand, Kakashi unsheathed his sword. The enemy was too close for Chidori—this had to be quick and messy.

Steel clashed. The fight was intense, narrow, desperate. Kakashi found an opening and drove his blade into the shinobi's chest, twisting hard.

But the man grinned—a hideous, blood-slick smile.

He let go of his weapon and lunged forward, forcing his impaled body closer, limbs wrapping around Kakashi like a dying spider.

"I'm not stronger than you… so I'll just take the express ticket—with you!"

Kakashi struggled, but couldn't break free. The guy was running on pure death-wish fuel—and it was working.

Above, a giant slab of stone cracked free.

Thud!

"Kakashi!"

Rin cried out.

Obito, who had just exited with Rin, turned and rushed back, shoving Kakashi out of the impact zone.

"Don't pull a hero stunt, moron!"

Wind Style: Gale Palm!

In a flash, Kakashi unleashed a shockwave that flung Obito out of the collapsing cave.

Then he used Flying Thunder God to teleport Rin to safety.

The collapse thundered to a stop.

Kakashi and Rin were now outside—Obito was trapped inside.

A thick pile of rubble divided them.

"Obito! Are you okay?!"

"Something happened!" came a muffled voice.

Kakashi's chest tightened. Fate... was it snapping back to its original timeline?

Was this the moment he couldn't change?

"You flung me so hard I faceplanted. But hey—no broken bones," Obito added dryly after a pause.

"This idiot…" Kakashi exhaled and chuckled. "Still has time for comedy."

He wasn't worried. Obito had a Flying Thunder God mark too. If needed, Kakashi could yank him out in seconds.

"You seem awfully comfy in there."

"Rin and I might just finish the mission first and then come rescue you."

"C'mon, Captain! Don't leave me here!" Obito yelled, desperate. "I swear I won't sass you for a week—maybe."

Kakashi smirked.

This brat had come a long way lately. Smarter. Snarkier. Wonder where he got that from.

Rustle...

Kakashi's face hardened.

In the trees behind them, shadows moved.

A mass of Iwagakure shinobi—easily over a hundred—poured out from the forest.

"Kakashi…" Rin whispered, eyes wide.

"Don't worry," he said softly. "They'd need a lot more to make this interesting."

But something was off.

This was supposed to be a small stronghold. These guys weren't patrols. Reinforcements? No… too many, too quiet.

"Charge!"

Before Kakashi could finish analyzing, the enemy surged forward.

Wait—why weren't they using Earth Style? Why rush in with kunai?

That's not just suspicious—it's suicidal.

But hey, if they insist…

He stepped in front of Rin and tapped the seal on his forehead. Chakra surged.

Madara-style markings bloomed across his face—Sage Mode.

"Sage Art: Great Fire Annihilation!"

A tsunami of fire roared across the field, engulfing the mass of shinobi. The forest blazed orange.

Kakashi stood in front of the inferno, eyes half-lidded.

"Whoops. Forgot the marshmallows."

The screams echoed unnaturally. Exaggerated. Off.

"I'm dying! But first—what is the meaning of life? And… why do I suddenly need to poop?!"

Something was very, very wrong.

They weren't shinobi at all.

White Zetsu.

Transformed with Henge no Jutsu.

And if they were here…

Kakashi's eyes widened.

He flared chakra and searched for Obito's Flying Thunder God mark—

It was already over a hundred miles away.

And moving.

Fast.

"Damn it…"

He clenched his jaw.

So this was the real plan all along.

He thought avoiding Obito's rock-crush fate would change things. But Black Zetsu had already marked him.

Madara hadn't picked Obito by chance. That "accident" in the original timeline?

Probably engineered.

But Kakashi wasn't caught completely off guard.

He had prepped for this day for years.

If Madara wanted to play puppet master—fine.

He'd just have to out-act him.

After all, as long as Madara lived, Kakashi wouldn't sleep easy. Or at all.
