Slumping back in her chair without any care for her image, Konata wore a deeply satisfied look.

"Konata-chan is really cute, huh~"

Leaning over her desk, Ochako Uraraka smiled as she spoke to the girl.

To avoid any misunderstandings, Izuku Midoriya had already told everyone about Konata's "tragic" backstory. After hearing about her situation, Ochako made up her mind to help her, even if Konata herself wasn't exactly thrilled about it.

"Hmm… just call me Konata from now on."

Choosing between a permanent meal ticket and the main storyline, Konata sat up straight, looking very serious.

"Thanks for the meal today. I'll repay this favor someday."

"It was just lunch—no need to make a big deal out of it."

Ochako looked momentarily surprised, then smiled brightly.

"Then from now on, I'll just call you Konata."

The morning passed in a flash. After enduring the soul-crushingly boring academic classes, the most anticipated class for Class 1-A finally arrived in the afternoon.

The moment the teacher for this course burst into the classroom, the previously noisy room went dead silent. But that silence only lasted a split second—when everyone realized who was standing on the podium, the class instantly erupted.

"All Might!!"

The whole class buzzed with excitement. If All Might hadn't spoken up, a few hardcore fans might've actually stormed the podium.

"So this really is a world full of All Might stans, huh…"

Even catching sight of Katsuki Bakugo getting just as excited, Konata's mouth twitched. Having only lived in this world for about three months, she couldn't really relate to that level of enthusiasm.

I mean, sure, he's a powerful hero, but do they really need to act like this? You guys should learn from me—calm as a rock even when the sky falls… huh?

She noticed All Might subtly waving at her from the podium.

Honestly, it was hard to believe this energetic hero could possibly be the same shriveled skeleton of a man she knew from the system's info. If she hadn't known better, Konata would have thought they were two different people.

The shout practically shook the roof.

As the students of Class 1-A came out in their brand-new battle gear, All Might, who was already waiting outside, laughed heartily.

"From this moment on, you must have the awareness of true heroes! You all look amazing!!"

"Yeah, yeah… I'll admit, it looks cool, but… how are you supposed to see her?"

Tugging at her navy-blue cap, Konata looked at the floating gloves and shoes not far away and sighed in her heart.

Toru Hagakure—her Quirk was invisibility, right?

Invisibility was, in theory, a really powerful ability—one that countless guys would kill to have. But when it's passive, it's just pure suffering, like something out of a bad joke.

That said, Toru gave off this really cheerful, sunny vibe. Konata didn't particularly care about that, though—she was thinking about something very serious.

"Team A: Izuku Midoriya and Fumikage Tokoyami.

Team B: Katsuki Bakugo and Tokikono Konata.

Both teams, proceed to your assigned locations. The rest of you, follow me to the monitoring room!!"
