Chapter 95: Chapter 95: Too Much Fun

With the devastating power of Uchiha Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan, the battle ended swiftly.

Uchiha Fugaku strode over to his son, his voice firm yet concerned. "Itachi, unless it's absolutely necessary, you should avoid using the Mangekyō Sharingan so often. It will take a toll on your eyesight."

Itachi's eyes flickered with a sudden ache. His father's words hit harder than he expected. It was as if the subtle soreness in his eyes had been lingering unnoticed until now.

"Father," Itachi asked cautiously, "is this the aftereffect of using the Mangekyō Sharingan?"

Fugaku nodded grimly. "Yes, son. The more you use it, the more it wears down your vision. Prolonged use can lead to complete blindness."

Itachi's heart sank. He had known the Mangekyō came with a price, but hearing it from his father made it all too real.

Silently, Itachi closed his eyes and deactivated the Mangekyō.

Fugaku turned sharply, his gaze blazing as he addressed the remaining Uchiha clansmen. "Everyone, this is our moment! Let's march on the Hokage building together — and finish this coup in one fell swoop!"

A fierce chorus of battle cries erupted through the darkened streets. "Kill! Kill! Kill!"

The night air was thick with tension. The crimson glow of countless Sharingan eyes pierced the darkness like ominous embers scattered across a cold, black sea.

---

Far away in Konoha Village, the sudden uproar stirred the villagers from their sleep.

One by one, they peeked from behind their doors and windows, blinking against the eerie spectacle before them.

Pairs of glowing scarlet eyes filled the shadows, watching and waiting.

Many villagers gasped and stepped back in fear. The flickering lights reminded them of ghosts, of things better left unseen.

Behind the watchers lay a grim scene — scattered bodies lay crumpled and lifeless, staining the streets with dark blotches.

The villagers who had stepped outside quickly hurried back indoors, locking their doors with trembling hands.

One elderly woman, sitting by the window, sighed with a mix of fear and disbelief.

"Old woman," a young man whispered urgently as he burst into the room, eyes wide and frantic, "I saw the Uchiha kill someone with my own eyes! Don't you think they'll come for me next?"

The woman sat up, annoyed by his panic. She rose and opened the door, peering into the night.

"There's no Uchiha out there. Go back to sleep. You're imagining things."

The young man hesitated, then cautiously stepped out and looked again.

The streets were eerily empty, and even the corpses had vanished as if swallowed by the night itself.

"Did I... dream all that?" he muttered, scratching his head.

The old woman gave a tired glare and replied, "Go to bed, fool."

He quickly shut the door and crawled into bed, trying to convince himself it had all been a nightmare.

---

Meanwhile, far from the village center, Uchiha Fugaku barked orders with commanding authority.

"Leave a few men to handle the bodies. The rest, follow me — the Hokage building is our goal!"

The Uchiha clansmen surged forward, energized by the prospect of finally reclaiming Konoha.

Victory was within reach, and soon the village would belong to the Uchiha, just as it should.

---

Inside the Hokage building, Shimura Danzō's face was pale and tense as he observed the sudden silence outside.

"This is a disaster," he muttered, frustration thick in his voice. "I expected the conflict to drag on longer. Aburame Tone and Yamanaka Kaze were supposed to hold the Uchiha off until reinforcements arrived."

He glanced at the empty halls and unchecked entryways, realizing his carefully laid plans were unraveling.

"What are the clan leaders waiting for? Why hasn't anyone come to help yet?"

His voice rose sharply as he barked orders to the ANBU members around him. "Send word to all the major clans — we need reinforcements immediately! The Uchiha are regrouping and preparing to attack!"

The ANBU nodded and disappeared into the shadows, carrying his commands to the far corners of Konoha.

Rubbing the tired skin beneath his right eye, Danzō grimaced. "Shisui's left eye is still damaged... but the right one should suffice."

Suddenly, a thought struck him, and he shouted, "Everyone, prepare to hold the line! We need to buy time until help arrives!"

His orders were met with grim nods as the ANBU took defensive positions outside the Hokage building.

Danzō took a moment to breathe, reassured that at least for now, he had a chance to escape if things turned south.

---

Outside, the ANBU soldiers were tense, their weapons at the ready.

"Where are the reinforcements?" one hissed.

"Maybe they're still on their way," another whispered.

They clung to hope, unaware that their leaders had no intention of sending help at all.

Suddenly, from the darkness, a thousand scarlet eyes appeared, shining with deadly intent.

"The Uchiha are coming!" someone yelled.

"Protect the Hokage! Hold your ground until reinforcements arrive!"

From the shadows, Uchiha Fugaku emerged, his presence commanding and terrifying.

"My target is Shimura Danzō," he declared. "Anyone who stands in my way will die."

The ANBU swallowed hard, the murderous aura emanating from Fugaku overwhelming even the bravest of them.

"Kill!" Fugaku shouted, and the Uchiha clansmen surged forward like a crimson tide.

---

Explosions, shuriken, and bursts of ninjutsu filled the night as the two sides clashed violently.

Danzō's heart pounded in his chest as he watched the battle unfold from a window.

"How are they already at the doorstep? Where are the reinforcements?!" he hissed, panic rising.

A crushing realization dawned on him — the clan leaders had betrayed him. He had been outplayed.

Cursing under his breath, Danzō wasted no time. "I have to get out of here before it's too late."

Without hesitation, he slipped out of the Hokage building and disappeared into the night.

---

Back at the battle, the Uchiha's ferocity was unmatched.

Suddenly, a terrifying sight stopped everyone in their tracks.

Black skull-like armor appeared, enveloping Fugaku's body.

"What... what is that?" whispered one of the ANBU.

"Could it be... Susanoo?!" another gasped.

The monstrous energy radiating from Fugaku was unlike anything the soldiers had ever seen.

In moments, the Susanoo tore through the ANBU ranks, reducing eighty percent of them to corpses.

"Monster! This isn't human power!" shouted a terrified soldier.

"Mama, I want to go home!" whimpered a younger fighter, fleeing in terror.

Fugaku showed no interest in pursuing the fleeing ANBU. His target was still alive, somewhere nearby.

---

The remaining Uchiha watched in awe, their leader's true power revealed before their eyes.

Itachi murmured quietly, "Is this the true extent of Mangekyō power?"

Fugaku rubbed his eyes and called out, "Danzō is close. Everyone, let's finish this!"

The clan's excitement grew as they prepared to claim victory.

Soon, no one would be able to stop the Uchiha from rising to power in Konoha.

---

Inside the Hokage's office, Fugaku kicked open the door, his voice booming.

"Danzō, old dog! Come out and face your fate!"

The room was empty.

Frustrated, Fugaku snapped, "Zhao! Don't let him escape! Chase after him!"

His men scattered through the village in search of the fleeing Danzō.

Just as Fugaku turned to leave the office, his eyes landed on the Hokage hat resting on the table.

A grim smile played across his lips.

"This... is what I truly seek."

---

The night was far from over, and the Uchiha were just getting started.
