Kushina Uzumaki The Sage Of The Yuri Path

Chapter 32: The Knight Hinata Deserves

The forest clearing was quiet except for the muffled groans of the Kumo shinobi, bound and defeated, their bodies twitching from the aftereffects of Raven's chakra suppression. The golden glow of the Life-Breaker Chains shimmered in the moonlight, binding their wrists and ankles, ensuring they had no chance of escape. Their leader, Hoshikawa, gritted his teeth as he fought against the paralysis in his limbs, his body refusing to obey him. He had underestimated her. They all had.

Raven stood at the center of the clearing, arms crossed, studying them with the kind of detached curiosity one might have for a particularly stupid animal. She tilted her head slightly, tapping a finger to her chin as if considering what to do next. Yuumi yawned from a nearby tree branch, stretching lazily. "Well, that was anticlimactic. I was expecting more of a challenge."

Raven sighed. "Yeah, me too. Kind of disappointing, really." She crouched in front of Hoshikawa, her silver-white hair falling slightly over her shoulder as she stared into his furious, twitching face. "So, how does it feel to be completely, utterly, and embarrassingly outmatched?"

Hoshikawa's jaw tightened. "You little—"

Raven flicked his forehead lightly, and a sealing mark flashed across his skin, cutting off his speech. "Ah-ah. No talking. I already sat through your dramatic monologue during the fight. I don't need an encore." She stood up, dusting off her hands before turning toward Yuumi. "So, what do you think? Toss them in a ditch? Gift-wrap them for Konoha?"

Yuumi smirked. "I say we send them home with a nice 'Return to Sender' note."

Raven grinned. "I like the way you think." She raised her hand, and instantly, a crimson sealing array spread across the ground beneath the captured shinobi, the marks glowing and interweaving in a complex pattern. Hoshikawa and his squad twitched as their bodies were lifted upright by the seals, their muscles rigid, their chakra completely locked away.

Hoshikawa struggled, his eyes widening as his body moved against his will. "What—what the hell is this?!"

"Oh, nothing much," Raven said, smiling sweetly. "Just a little technique I like to call the March of Shame."

The Kumo shinobi, still bound in golden chains, suddenly lurched forward, their feet moving in stiff, synchronized steps. Behind them, a massive summoning scroll unfurled, floating in the air like a battle banner. In bold, glowing script, the message was clear:

"Konoha's Heiress is Not Yours to Take – The Yuri Knight"

Yuumi fell off the tree branch, cackling. Hinata, still clutching onto Raven's sleeve, whispered the words under her breath, her cheeks turning pink. "Yuri… Knight…" She liked how that sounded.

One of the captured shinobi let out a strangled growl. "You… you won't get away with this!"

Raven sighed dramatically. "Oh, you're right. I should probably make this even worse for you." She snapped her fingers again, and suddenly, the entire squad of Kumo shinobi opened their mouths and began singing—completely against their will.

Hinata's jaw dropped as the men started loudly chanting the Kumo war anthem, their voices booming through the forest in perfect harmony. Yuumi wheezed with laughter. "You made them sing their own victory song while marching in chains? Oh my god, this is evil."

Raven shrugged. "Hey, I wanted them to feel useful on the way home."

The shinobi at the front of the group gagged as he tried to fight the seal, but the magic forced the words out of his mouth, his face twisted in horror as he was forced to hit the high notes. Yuumi nearly fell over laughing again. "This is the best thing you've ever done."

Hinata stared, her wide lavender eyes flickering between Raven and the bound, humiliated shinobi as they were forced to march off toward the Land of Lightning, their feet moving in perfect, miserable unison. She knew she should feel bad for them. But she didn't.

Instead, she felt something else entirely.

Admiration.

Raven was… incredible.

Hinata had spent her whole life being told she was weak, that she was too gentle, too soft to ever be strong like her father or the other Hyūga warriors. But Raven… Raven was different. She wasn't just strong—she was confident. She moved like someone who already knew she had won the moment the fight started. She wasn't afraid of anything. And now she had saved her.

Hinata's small fingers tightened around Raven's cloak.

I want to be like her, she thought.

I want to be strong.

I want to stand beside her.

Her cheeks burned slightly as she realized she was still holding onto Raven.

Meanwhile, back at the gates of Kumogakure, the village guards had gathered, waiting for the triumphant return of their elite shinobi squad. Instead, they stood frozen in disbelief as their warriors came marching toward them—bound, singing, and dragging a massive glowing scroll behind them like a banner of shame.

The moment the shinobi crossed the border, the sealing jutsu forced them to kneel, their voices involuntarily shouting their confession for all to hear. The entire village of Kumo, including its highest-ranking council members, bore witness to the humiliating failure of their "elite" retrieval squad.

Panic erupted within the Raikage's court.

And just like that, the entire ruling class of Kumogakure lost its collective mind.

Meanwhile, miles away, Raven stood with Hinata still clinging to her, watching the distant horizon as the last of the captured shinobi disappeared from sight. She dusted off her hands. "Well, that was fun."

Hinata hesitated for a moment, then looked up at her with wide, shining eyes. "You're… incredible," she whispered.

Raven blinked, momentarily caught off guard by the intensity of the little girl's admiration. It wasn't a simple thank-you. It was something deeper. Pure, unfiltered awe.

Yuumi, watching from the sidelines, grinned wickedly. "Oh yeah. She's in deep."

Raven crouched down to Hinata's level, brushing a strand of hair out of her face. "You okay, little princess?"

Hinata nodded slowly, but her grip on Raven's cloak didn't loosen.

Raven sighed and scooped her up effortlessly, holding her securely. Hinata immediately buried her face in Raven's shoulder, gripping onto her tightly as they vanished into the trees.

Yuumi smirked. "Oh, you're in trouble."

Raven rolled her eyes. "Shut up."

At the Hyūga compound, Hiashi stood waiting, his Byakugan scanning the darkness. The entire clan was prepared for war. Then, a shadow moved at the gates, and a small figure landed lightly in the courtyard, Hinata still nestled in her arms. Gasps rippled through the gathered Hyūga shinobi.

"Hinata-sama!"

Hiashi stepped forward, his gaze locked onto Raven. "You… brought her back."

Hinata blinked up at her father, still slightly dazed. "O-otou-sama…"

Raven set her down gently, but Hinata didn't let go of her.

Hiashi narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?"

Raven tilted her head, smirking slightly. "Just someone who doesn't like kidnappers."

Before anyone could react, she vanished into the night.

The next morning, the village of Konoha was buzzing with rumors. A mysterious kunoichi had humiliated an entire Kumo retrieval squad, forced them to march home singing their own war anthem, and left behind a message calling herself…

The Yuri Knight.

Yuumi could not stop laughing.

Meanwhile, Raven stretched lazily on a couch, her Rinnegan flickering faintly beneath her disguise.

"Well," she said smugly. "That went well."

Yuumi wheezed. "Understatement of the century."

"So," Yuumi smirked. "What's next?"

Raven grinned. "We expand my harem."
