Chapter 113: Hearty talk and first carefree order.
Lucas had a good old talk with his father and it took him long to come to the point.
His father had been really good in strength and found some creatures in abundance and apparently, they were just like the goblins yet a lot bigger but still brown in killer.
They were known as the 'Orcs' with the levels spanning from 5 to 10. Lucas's father told him that he was the only one who could defeat one in his group and he had a record of killing ten of them at once.
Lucas went on and on about his shelter too which his father was first disappointed as it was not a fighting skill but he was still very proud that Lucas was level 8 without having an inherent offensive skill.
He also offered Lucas a sword which could apparently give him a 20+ mana buff but Lucas rejected as he already had two that were already pretty great.
"Dad, I have to discuss something important now, so be serious."
-" You sound just like your mother and I am not liking it."- A groan came from his father's mouth but he still made him get serious as Lucas was now going to talk business.
Lucas explained the whole procedure to him and as expected, his father fell silent in the end.
-" Did you think of all this on your own? If you did, it is very impressive. And it's also true that this butchery and cooking can be a pain in the ass and the annoying part is that no one in our group knows how to cook without a proper kitchen. Dimwits I tell you."
Lucas chuckled in response, his father could be very harsh sometimes but he was a very overly active man who laughed all the time. For a change, seeing him be direct made Lucas glad that he was his father and also a very capable person to take care of his mother properly.
"Alright, I will give you some of those animals but in return, give me a lot of that buffed cooked food that you talk about. Been a while since I ate something good."-
Lucas's father spoke and Lucas could relate as, back on Earth, he only ate what he craved with no problem for money. He was brought up in a way that money was not a factor in buying something but what he liked to eat was the main part. It was like this for all his family. A disadvantage of being filthy rich.
"Even if you're my father, I will not be lenient with you. Whatever you send, I will honestly take 30% of the meat slices and the mana stone, the other parts such as the claws, teeth, the inner useful organs will be taken at a 40% rate an-"
"Alright alright, stop. I don't care, just take the damn thing and bring me some good stuff to eat."
'Damnit… should have asked for 50%'
Lucas was being this serious and taking all this because he knew how much his father would have already collected in the thought of just getting to 'Fight' with the other organisms.
He didn't like to kill and hurt animals in his world but when there was a need, he was good at putting his morals at the back of the head for his people. And it seemed he liked it too much from his mother's explanations about his 'behavior' toward the killing and fighting.
-" I am sending you some right now so accept the trade already."-
DING!
After a ding sound, the panel in front of his eyes changed to the same old two squares yet one of them was not empty.
Lucas was surprised to look at the five in total corpses in one of the squares and he placed a small strand of grass inside the other box.
-" Being a little petty I think, give me that damn rimmer something already."-

Lucas just rolled his eyes and tossed one of the rimmeroots from his quota. He couldn't take it from the shelter's storage as this transaction was not from the shelter but from him. The rimmeroot was just something his father wanted and he gave, that was it.
Suddenly, a lot of corpses fell out of nowhere making many surprised.
The creatures were very different and none of them looked familiar.
One of the corpses had six legs and it had its eyes opened showing them all how many weird creatures roamed this world.
With the group's help, Lucas shifted the corpses and separated them into a free space in front of the shelter's entrance.
Lucas activated his skill on one of the small ones and after observing it a little, he found that it only took 2 hours to dismantle, he didn't do the others right away as he was in need of his mana to practice his certain skills.
The shelter was the only skill in the whole shelter that didn't need training to upgrade but the others had to be practiced.
It was good that Lucas could look at the progressive percentage and it helped him know his actual progress unlike before. It was like the upgrade in the system's status was done just for this phase.
The two hours went by with Lucas's skill training getting him some proficiencies. He had to drink the low level mana potion at certain times to keep up with the exhaustion rate.
'It is pretty effective, what happens if I can upgrade its level?' Lucas thought. He still didn't get his mortar and pestle order and giving extra meat every time was bad for the long term so Lucas had no option but to wait.
Soon, the first creature was done and the parts were segregated on the ground. Not a single piece of meat had contact with dirt as Lucas had placed pieces of unused leather beneath them.
"How did the counting go?" Lucas asked John and Jerry who were going through the number of meat pieces.
"There are 20 properly cut pieces of meat here, I still can't believe how finely they get cut with this dismantle skill." Jerry said with a smile while looking at the amount of meat and other bi-products in front of him.
