Legendary Shelter Survival Guide

Chapter 114: Potion level inceased!

After they were done talking, there were 20 meat pieces placed in a stack of five each.

"What's the 30 percent of 20?" Sean asked with closed eyes as if trying to calculate. Lucas just shook his head in pity and told the exact value in a matter of seconds.

"... It's 6, we got 6 meat pieces from a single corpse and there is still 4 corpses left to dismantle. How about that, it worked!" Lucas shouted with a manly laugh making many do the same thing.

Lucas went on and started the dismantling process of the other corpses too. In half a day, he had 110 pieces of meat in his storage from which 33 pieces belonged to his shelter.

The amount was enough to have serving for a day and they were still way ahead on their pile of stored meat.

The meat was then going to be cooked and Lucas felt like he would take the help of Haley to make 50 smoked meat considering that his family didn't have cold storage in their living settlements. Making him wonder why his father called his skill not fit for here.

After he was done in the day, he contacted his mother and after talking about their lives for a while, Lucas's mother offered him another thing.

She proposed that he could smoke all the meat with the buffs from their shares and in return Lucas could take all the hides and the other raw materials that came out of it.

Lucas was elated with the new deal, having more leather meant John was going to be able to level his skill faster and the other products could one day be used in his potion brewing if he could do some experimentation on another level.

As the meat began to smoke, Lucas couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. The successful deal, coupled with the opportunity to smoke all the meat and gain additional resources, filled him with a renewed sense of purpose.

He still knew that he was in over his head thinking that it would be this easy with the others.

While waiting for the meat to cook, Lucas decided to delve deeper into his experimentation with potion brewing.

He went on with using the newly dried leaves and roots of the mana plant and after putting them inside the water in the cauldron. The same old process began.

This time around, Lucas was adamant about successfully upgrading the quality of the potion. So he lessened the quantity of the water and placed all the dried powdered leaves inside the cauldron expecting to have a different conclusion this time.

He even borrowed Ella's mana staff in order to give the potion more mana this time around. He didn't get why the mana was needed in this potion as the plant also had magical properties. If he were to use his mana to make a mana potion, then it would not make sense.

But, in the end, the process had worked and Lucas had no trouble in reaping the benefits even when he thought that the process could be wrong.

He poured all the extra mana he got until he had nothing left.

When he extinguished the fire this time, the water's color was greener than before making him excited over the results. He asked for the description before placing the liquid inside the cup and the surprises didn't stop anytime.

Normal level Mana potion

Common Grade

The potion is made by utilizing the properties of the ingredients in a better way than a rookie. The potency of the liquid is still low due to the incompetence of the brewer. With every 50 ml intake of the potion, the user can regenerate their mana stat by 5 under normal circumstances.

"And when I thought the day couldn't get any better..." Lucas said while holding his giggles but some came out unintentionally but no one was around to hear it. Lucas went to the storage and brought a bowl.

In the storage, the stench of blood became a little high as the number of blood-filled-to-the-brim buckets kept inside it had increased.

Lucas didn't mind and he was not even scared if some creature would come to them as his former confidence was coming back. He was waiting for the small creatures that he had to take down that would stumble here and there near the shelter.

The last time a feline like creature came sneaking near the shelter. Haley just bashed its head inside out with a single bullet of the mana musket making others borrow and try to take the thrill too.

Lucas carefully poured some of the newly brewed mana potion into the bowl, its vibrant green color shimmering under the light. He marveled at the improvement he had made in the potion's quality, even though it was still considered a common grade.

His greed because of being a human couldn't subdue even if he could brew a rare grade potion.

He took a moment to read the description again, satisfaction evident on his face. This potion had already become a valuable asset to the shelter especially those who relied heavily on their mana reserves like Sarah, Mike, John, and more.

With each 50 ml intake, a user could regenerate 5 points of mana, providing a much-needed boost in the mana.

Excited by his success, Lucas couldn't resist taking a sip from the bowl. As the potion flowed down his throat, a surge of warmth spread through his body, revitalizing his depleted mana reserves. He felt a renewed sense of energy and focus as if the very essence of magic coursed through his veins.

As he savored the effects, Lucas couldn't help but wonder about the possibilities that lay ahead. With his ability to brew mana potions, he could potentially aid his family and allies in their endeavors.

The potion had the potential to turn the tides in battles, provide crucial support in challenging magical tasks, and open doors to new opportunities especially the extra training people could take part in.
