Chapter 150: 6 days later...
6 days passed since then,
The shelter and the forest had become livelier than before.
Everyone trained diligently, more diligent than most when they were back on Earth as their life were on the line.
Lucas had leveled his perceptive eyes by one making it the third skill to reach the third level mark.
Another good thing was that he got the vision in his left eye back which made him sharper and quicker than before. Being able to do most of the stuff with one eye for so long, it became easier now that he could see with both his eyes.
Most of his other skills were going to reach level 3 too aside from the beginner spearmanship.
Lucas practiced it a lot but due to his explosive strength, it was hard for the wooden makeshift spear to stay whole.
Lucas had to use three spears that would in one day, perish because of his strength.
It was not efficient at all and Lucas was trying to fix it.
He had started asking groups that they had made contact with in order to see if anyone got a durable spear as a reward from those chests just like how Lucas got two swords.
As for the excavation of the land to find ores or minerals, it was going better than before yet they still didn't get anything aside from the normal stones in return.
The hole in the ground had now become more extensive than before, around 3 meters on all sides making it much more of a square shape.
Inside it, the depth went as long as 8 feet and they were still digging.
Yet the plan had just started to become good, Lucas and John with some more helpers made slanting new caves inside in order to be safer and excavated in more directions in order to make their chances better than before.
About 300 kgs of stone was excavated from the land and kept at the backside of the shelter so that it doesn't hinder any of the daily activities.
On another note, everyone's health was getting better and better to the point that Ella who had just confessed that she still had some pain from the osteoporosis she had, just healed herself from the problem finally.
Her healing skill was not enough to heal it completely before so she only made the pain subside with her abilities yet now she pulled and threw the disease like it was nothing making the tendrils that she had lost to aging become better again.

After she got the proficiency to do that, John was also healed by Ella and so did the others.
Their bodies had renewed and when Lucas's eyes got fixed, it was official that they were one of the healthiest groups out there in the whole plains of Amaeron at this point.
While they were getting healed every now and then, many had died from cracked bones, fevers, and even hunger.
It was like the potential ones were being segregated from the ones that couldn't or wouldn't adapt.
It was very different as some diseases from back from Earth were automatically healed when they came to this unknown land while some still persisted making them wonder if there was some theory to it too.
.
In the present,
"These vines have become too big. Should we cut it a bit?" Barney asked while they saw the vines that had climbed the shelter's walls without even getting any help.
"Nah, let it be."
"The vines will come in handy later, the more it grows the better."
Many chimed in and the idea for the vines to be cut was dismissed completely.
The other plant that they had planted was still in its sprouting phase making many wonders as to how long it would actually take to grow fully.
The evening had descended again and Lucas was done with his training fully, so were many of the people in the group yet many planned to just take a break.
"Oh, by the way, how is that canal plan going?" Sandra asked to make some small talk as many were now sitting near the camp to replenish their manas and stomachs.
"You will know when you come with us." Lucas said while he took a big gulp from a glass that was filled with the rejuvenation potion to the brim.
"Just tell me as it is~" Sandra grumbled yet tried to playfully talk so as to get some benefit out of it.
"It's halfway done already, if you all help for a few days, the canal will be done," John stated and ripped a big juicy chunk of the meat in his hand showing how much hunger he was facing.
"I will help double to help it complete quickly."
Jerry said in order to save the two sisters from work yet again.
Lucas observed Sandra and Haley's expressions and was surprised to see them bite their lips as if they were angry about something.
Yet at the end of the day, the two girls were performing their other duties perfectly so it didn't matter.
"What about the dungeon?"

SILENCE…
Nobody spoke and looked at each other, some had a very complicated expression which was hard to discern yet Lucas was sure of one thing, nobody wanted to go in that cursed place again.
'Even I, who would do anything to go and fight in such faces don't want to, how could they all feel different?'
"The time we went together, our teamwork was very bad. And to be honest, only Lucas and Jimmy were the two who did most of the work. That's not how things work everyone, if we need to go one day, we have to know who would have to go and who we have to leave behind in the shelter."
Listening to John, Lucas felt sad, he was right.
No matter how much he could sweep it under the rug, Lucas knew that Jimmy and him were the only ones that helped that day and it was clearly not enough.
