Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme!

Chapter 306: You gonna explain WHAT THE FUCK THAT WAS?

For some time, Aoni simply consoled Milly, or at least until the tears ceased to flow, that is, because when that transpired, things began getting a bit awkward…after all, hot blue elf girl laying on top of him, raging hormones, and well…BONER.

"Um…Aoni…" Milly asked in a meek whisper.

"Yeah?"

"Can I …move now? Your…um…thing…is pressing against me…"

"Ah shit, my bad, yeah…" In a hurry, Aoni sat up, dragging Milly along with him before placing her down on the mat where she was originally sitting at the start of this whole fiasco.

"Sorry… about all that, I really have no idea what came over me…"

"Stop, please, it's okay. I didn't hate it, but it just felt wrong, as if we were doing something horrible. I can't really put it into words, but that's what I felt…like something really bad would happen if we moved forward, and that scared me." Clasping her hands in her lap, Milly raised a valid concern that Aoni had picked up on.

It was almost like his mind was temporarily fractured into three distinct personalities.

One himself.

The Second was screaming to make Milly his woman.

And the Third Screaming to Reproduce with Milly.

For a brief second, Personalities two and three wrestled control of his body away from him, causing things to turn south, especially since the two thought processes were aiming for specific goals.

Yet even through all of that, the rational part of his mind felt a sense of dread when he touched Milly inappropriately, in the form of a searing pain that bypassed his resistance passive.

It was almost like dipping his hand in lava while it was stabbed with millions of needles.

The only thing he could think of was that he was, in a sense, going against the natural order of the world, and even with consent from his summon, it felt…so very wrong.

"I felt the same thing," Aoni finally said after collecting the shambles of his mind enough to respond.

Surprisingly, upon airing this notion aloud to each other, it was as if the whole thing was now behind them, and they could actually return to being friends, something that slightly irked and confused Aoni.

"Friends then?"

"Un, friends," Milly replied with a big smile that caused Aoni's little brother to twitch for a second due to how attractive she was in his eyes.

---

The rest of movie night went smoothly, and by the time all the little ones were rubbing their eyes, Aoni wished them all good night and powered down the projector before heading upstairs with his sisters in tow.

---

"SO SO SO, DID YAH DO IT? IS MY BABY BROTHER A MAN!" The instant the door to his office closed, Clara practically tackled him and began her interrogation.

"No, you stupid, nothing happened; we just hung out like good friends, man; why is it you go straight to asking if we banged? THERE WERE KIDS PRESENT!" He groaned before palming her in the face and shoving Clara away.

"Wimp…"

"Dahfuq, how am I a wimp, Char? How about I start pushing you toward every guy in my Territory and try playing matchmaker?" He spat, causing Charlotte to flinch away and look at her feet.

Slumping down into the chair behind his desk, Aoni pinched the brim of his nose and looked up at his dejected sisters, only to shake his head.

"Listen, I will never, EVER, lay a hand on my female summons, so please, for the love of the Supremes, get that stupid notion out of your addled minds. Because all it will do is lead me down a path of corruption, and that isn't something I wish to traverse."

"Sophisticated Language," Char said with a smirk, making Clara snort in laughter.

However, what was said next caused both Char and Aoni to shuffle uncomfortably in their seats.

"I don't see the big deal; I've slept with a couple of my summons before…what…why are you guys looking at me like that? Wait, Char, are you saying you haven't tried it yet? Wow…"

"Lost cause…"

"Dead to me,"

The pair of Charlotte and Aoni said dismissively.

---

Not long after they finished harassing Clara, Aoni found himself sitting alone in his office, staring up at the floating ethereal chat box, which had been silent ever since it had drained him of 100k points.

'So You gonna explain WHAT THE FUCK THAT WAS?' he screamed mentally, causing a single mindbreaking prompt to appear on his Attribute Notice.

Secondary, internalized outside wills invaded the Host's mind

'What…no, no-no, you EXPLICITLY TOLD ME that I couldn't be affected by any outside interference, now all of a sudden it's the opposite? Explain this shit right now, and DON'T YOU DARE try extorting me for more points because if there is a gap in my armor, it is imperative to my Progress that I know about it.'

…

This was bound to come up eventually, but let it be known that the amount of information that can be revealed to the Host is minimal, so there will be gaps

'Gaps or not, I NEED to know.' Aoni said while sitting straight and staring intently at his AN.

The Host has long since understood that their Progression Attribute is unlike any other Attribute seen before in history. Not once but on three separate occasions, there have been entirely new and unrelated upgrades to their Attribute abilities

Starting with when the Host achieved their first star and unlocked the Ability to add Progress Points to things that shouldn't be able to increase manually

With the manifestation of the Host's Second Star, a new panel, the Crafter's Display, was unlocked; furthermore, with the Third Star came the addition of yet another Display, the Inspection Display

However, when the Host reached Grade-4 and manifested their Fourth Star, this temporary pattern of unlocking new displays changed, and they obtained Increased Mental Capabilities in the form of an ability called Increased Mind

'Yeah, I get weird abilities that…'

Suddenly, something dawned on Aoni, and his eyes flew wide open as he finished the next statement.

'That could almost be considered entirely additional and new Attributes…'

The Host wouldn't be incorrect in this thinking, but they don't fully understand the scope of what is the Progression Attribute

To put it simply, Host Aoni Thurston is not the first being to wield Progression; in fact, they are considered the 9th Wielder, and with each advancement in Grade, the Attribute of a Previous Wielder would be granted to them

'and the two personalities that tried to get me to assault Milly…'

Are lingering wills left in the Progression Attribute of previous Wielders, two of the more Vile Wills

'Vile as in evil?'

There is no good or evil host; it's entirely based on a being's perspective. Is a wolf who slaughters its litter considered evil because they had no option and needed to feed themselves? Or is a Fire Elemental Evil for burning down an entire forest by simply existing?

That is why the term VILE was used in this instance because, based on the Host's moral compass, it goes against everything they view as right

What the Host didn't notice, yet your summon did, is that upon being possessed, traces of these two wills manifested in the Host's eyes in the form of different color light flecks, Orange and Green; through this, it was simple to determine which Wills they were

The Lime Green Light represents the Fifth Wielder of Progression, Carrion Blyth, a being who wandered Genovia, abusing their strength to spread their bloodline to as many races as possible in order to create an Immortal Lineage

The Orange Light represents the Third Wielder of Progression, Desmond Vesper, a being whose tainted Draconian blood led him to succumb to greed and take many women into his bed, thereby creating one of the largest harems in history. Through his use of the Inspection Display, he would take advantage of a woman's weakness and corrupt her mind to the point she could no longer live without him

'One wants to impregnate anything with a hole, and the other wants to claim every woman he fancies…fan-fucking-tastic, that still doesn't answer how they could override my consciousness and exert their will.'

For that, there is no viable answer other than it was happenstance

'In the right place at the right time, fuck, and the overriding thing you did?'

A temporary patch to dam up their Ability to possess the Host; technically speaking, it should have been impossible for the Will of Carrion Blyth to overtake the Host since they have yet to manifest their fifth star, however since Host Aoni Thurston is already on the cusp of manifesting it along with a path being carved by Former Host Desmond Vesper, Former Host Carrion Blyth was able to take advantage of the situation and appear

Using a copious amount of Progress Points, it was possible to reseal these existences back within the confines of the Progression Attribute; however, as stated, this is only a temporary means of stopping them, as eventually, there will come a time when the Host must confront them.
