Level Up: Voidwalker

Chapter 287: Kill Them All

Atlas looked at the fortress below before leaping from the Stormeagle's back, plummeting through the sky like a comet streaking toward the earth. The ground rushed up to meet him, and the world blurred.

His body twisted mid-air, arms outstretched, and he summoned the void itself. Dark mana swirled around him, forming a crackling sphere of destructive power. With a roar, Atlas slammed into the earth just outside the castle's gates.

The impact shattered everything, causing a shockwave to ripple through the snow-covered landscape as the Void Smash exploded outward, tearing through the castle's stone walls, collapsing towers, and sending debris flying in all directions.

Atlas was crouched at the bottom of a crater in his Voidwalker form. An azure glow lit up the surroundings. His smile grew wider as he summoned several Giant Tarrasques that rushed out of the portal before climbing up.

He quickly appeared in the courtyard as the survivors were still coming two. Atlas grinned and lunged at a group of Achaemendians and started ripping them apart with her sharp claws that stained the ground with blood.

The colossal monsters unleashed their fury, tearing through anything that moved with unrelenting savagery. Amid the chaos, Atlas was a whirlwind of destruction. With a single slash, he bisected a soldier using his sharp claws.

Pivoting, he hurled a Void bomb into a cluster of enemies, detonating with a thunderous explosion that obliterated them. The explosion flung the surviving Achaemendians like rag dolls, their screams lost in the deafening roar.

Atlas reveled in the carnage, his bloodthirsty grin illuminated by the flames. While fighting, the women's voices echoed in his mind. ''Summon us! We want to help.''

Without hesitation, he opened a portal seconds later. Nulia in her Frostbear rushed out first before letting out an earth-shaking roar, her breath freezing the ground beneath her as she charged into a squad of soldiers, scattering them like leaves in a storm.

Overhead, Amethyst's voice cut through the din. ''Atlas! An army approaches from the south! Too many for us alone!"

The warning only ignited Atlas's determination further, causing him to turn to the blonde knight and speak with a wild smile, ''Clear this place out and come to the wall. Watch how much grown.''

When Estelle heard this, she gave a sharp nod, her blade a blur as she killed soldier after soldier, the commander crumpling under her relentless assault. Meanwhile, Atlas surged through the chaos of the fortress, his presence a whirlwind of power.

Vaulting across the roofs, he bellowed commands to the monstrous horde trailing him. ''Form up outside!'' he roared, his voice slicing through the clamor of battle. ''Let the world witness my power!''

The Tarrasques let out a thunderous, earth-shaking roar in response, their colossal forms stampeding after him. Nearing the fortress wall, Atlas equipped his helmet with one thought as it snapped on.

With a crackling burst of energy, he landed below with an earth-shattering thud, a harbinger of doom to all who dared stand in his path. That's when the enemy army stopped marching and the monsters destroyed the walls again.

They lined up, massive forms forming an unbreakable wall of muscle and fury. Atlas Void Stepped onto the head of one. From there, he unleashed his magic, causing his mana to pour into the rift.

Portals erupted around him, crackling with energy as they widened. Out came the first wave, an army of Void Ghouls. Their eerie howls filled the air. They surged forward, quickly forming the first ranks.

But Atlas was far from finished as he summoned his Werewolves, their eyes feral and their claws gleaming, waiting to fight. Next were the creepy Gibberlings, their twisted bodies scuttling with disturbing speed; Hobgoblins, their monstrous forms ready to wreak havoc.

The ground trembled under the weight of hundreds of other horrors that appeared. And finally, as if to cap the horrors he had unleashed, he summoned a thousand Kenkus, who were screeching in excitement as they gathered like a tide of death.

The enemies, witnessing this nightmarish army before them, faltered for the briefest moment, uncertain whether they should flee or fight. But Atlas drew his swords, their dark edges gleaming.

He quickly cast Void Infusion on them, causing the swords to blaze to life, a radiant blue glow pulsing from their edges, casting an ethereal light across the battlefield. The six women appeared on the wall.

Estelle looked at the Honey Badger woman and spoke in a serious tone, ''You can't join him, Lili. It's too dangerous.''

Lilith, however, refused to heed their warning when they tried to stop her from rushing out in excitement. With a mischievous grin, she leaped off and rushed toward Atlas, her human form radiating energy. Enjoy exclusive adventures from My Virtual Library Empire

Upon spotting her, Atlas commanded the Tarrasque to lower its tail. As the massive creature complied, Lilith sprang onto it, bounding toward him with a burst of speed. She threw herself into his arms, her yellow eyes gleaming with affection.

Atlas chuckled warmly at the sight, leaning down to place a gentle kiss on her forehead. A shiver ran through Lilith, and with a playful flicker, she shrank into her tiny form. Without hesitation, she climbed into the folds of his armor, curling up comfortably.

Following that, he raised a blade high and bellowed, ''Kill them all!''

The ground seemed to shake with the fury of his words, and at his command, the monster army surged forward. When the Achaemendians saw this, the leaders started screaming out orders.

Atlas watched as the Void Ghouls crashed into the frontline and started tearing through them like a hot knife through butter. While that happened, the Kenkus split into two groups before vanishing into the surroundings.

Seconds later, the rest of the monsters charged forward as Bloodhawks swooped down and took out the Achaemendians with ease. Magic attacks struck the horde, but they pushed forward while demolishing the enemies.

Afterward, the battle erupted as monsters pounced on the soldiers, who couldn't hold them back, as it was too overwhelming. Atlas jumped to the ground as the Kenkus moved in before slamming into the enemy flanks.

The bird assassins were skilled and blocked the Achaemendian's attacks, causing sparks to fly just as more washed over the soldiers. Following this, the six women joined the fray and started mowing down the enemies.

His monster army moved with terrifying speed. The Tarrasques tore through the enemy ranks, their tails sweeping aside entire squads like leaves in a storm. Bloodhawks dived from above, unleashing their claws upon the soldiers, their screams lost in the roar of battle.

At the center of the carnage, Atlas stood tall, his eyes glowing with command. ''Leave none standing,'' his voice echoed over the battlefield.

Obeying his order, colossal Void Golems surged forward, their earth-shattering footsteps crushing the last remnants of resistance. The enemy's lines crumbled under the attack, swords and shields clattering uselessly to the ground as fear took hold.

Following that, Atlas used Void Step to appear away from the battle as he spotted Nulia sitting there watching the battle unfold. When he materialized, the brown-skinned woman beamed as she spoke. ''Your monsters are a menace handsome, they are wiping out the army with ease.''

''There's so many, it doesn't surprise me that the empire was caught unprepared this time,'' he answered while sitting next to her. ''But it won't always be this easy once they adapt to the creatures.''

Nulia started laughing as she wrapped an arm around his shoulder before placing a soft kiss on his cheek. ''You'll figure it out. We all trust you.''

Atlas smiled warmly, but a sudden instinct flared within him, prompting swift action. Without hesitation, he pulled her into a protective embrace and cast Void Guard around them just as a deafening explosion erupted.

They were sent hurtling through the air, but Atlas landed firmly on his feet, steady as a rock. Nulia blinked in confusion, her eyes darting around to make sense of the chaos. Before she could react, Atlas had already surged forward, closing the distance to meet an approaching man head-on.

The stranger's fist hurtled toward him, but Atlas intercepted it with a rock-solid block. In the same breath, he launched a powerful counterpunch, the force of it echoing like thunder across the battlefield.

Without missing a beat, the two began trading furious blows, each strike faster and more ferocious than the last. Amid the fray, Atlas delivered a crushing punch to the stranger's hand, sending his weapon spinning through the air and clattering to the ground.

The balance of power shifted in an instant as Atlas pressed his advantage, his movements unyielding and full of determination. When the enemy tried to kick him, he blocked it before hitting the man with a fully charged Void Blast.

Just as another strike was about to land, a blur shot into the fray. Nulia's fist collided with the attacker's side, sending them stumbling. ''Need a sparring partner?'' she quipped, shaking out her knuckles.

Atlas smirked. ''Took you long enough.''
