Lookism: Legend of Oni

Just as Matsumoto took his sword, Ha-Joon swung his fist towards Matsumoto, which he blocked with the help of his katana. He faltered slightly due to the impact, as he adjusted his body, Ha-Joon hurled his leg with great force towards Matsumoto temples nearly making him unconscious on the ground.

Matsumoto distanced himself wide enough to draw his katana stance and exhaled slowly: "I underestimated you, lets get serious." Ha-Joon didn't respond and waited for his attack with dull expression. He swung his katana violently towards Ha-Joon's neck, just as his katana could reach Ha-Joon's neck, he grabbed katana with his bare hand before breaking it into two parts.

Matsumoto stood frozen in disbelief, he simply couldn't believe his katana could be broken by a mere kid, yet the fact remained in front of his eye. Just as he froze in disbelief, Ha-Joon gripped his neck tightly, slammed him on the floor, shattering all the wood on the ground.

He fist collided on Matsumoto's face continuously, nearly killing him. Ha-Joon suppressed his instinct from taking his body control for fear of killing Matsumoto without getting information 

Blood began flowing on the ground, his vision blurred. Ha-Joon slowly loosen the grip on his neck, Matsumoto sucked in air greedily, and coughed mouthful of blood. Ha-Joon eyed him and asked coldly: "Tell me about that day incident or else face the consequences."

He briefly looked at Ha-Joon and slowly wiped blood from the corner of his mouth and nodded: "It was 15 years ago, Yamazaki Shintaro...."

Flashback 

15 years ago,

Japan, Yamazaki base,

Inside the living room, two adult stared eachother for a moment, Shintaro picked his fan from the table, fanned himself, and spoke with authority: " Akujiki (Demon sword) I've got your last mission before your retirement"

Park Shinji or the so- called Akujiki, took the tea pot from the table and poured tea for Shintaro and himself, and spoke with respected tone: "Please, speak, vice president Shintaro-nim."

Shintaro picked up the tea, took a sip and nodded: "I want you to take boat from Osaka and travel towards Busan, and assassinate few core member of Gapryong Kim's fist gang."

Shinji paused briefly before nodding: "I understand, sir."

Two silently sat across eachother, occasionally taking the sip of their tea, Shintaro filled the empty cup with tea calmly for the two of them and briefly watched Shinji: "Rumors has it that, your son possesses Yamazaki family exclusive, reverse eye."

 Hearing Shintaro's word, his eye flickered sightly, feeling uneasiness, he pondered for a moment and nodded: "Yes, the rumors are true."

Shintaro could feel the hesitation hearing his word, He squinted his eye and stared at Shinji, and chuckled: " Your Hangure family is truly blessed to possess reverse eye." He thought as expected from her son, Truly gifted.

Instead of responding, Shinji gulped last bit of his tea, exhaled softly, stood and bowed: "Shintaro-nim, I'll take my leave and prepare for mission."

Shintaro nodded and signaled him to leave. As he watched Shinji departing figure, his eyes gleamed briefly, laughed and murmured: "You truly left your legacy before departing, how truly sad. And those eyes, they most belong to its rightful owner."

Just as Shinji departed from the Yamazaki clan, three figure stepped inside the previous living room. They each were the head of vassal family, as they each took a seat, Watanabe Kokuin glanced at Shintaro and asked: "Why have you called us here, Yamazaki Shintaro.?"

"I want you three to head towards Osaka, and eliminate Akujiki before he could head towards Korea."

Three exchanged glance knowingly, stood up and prepare to head towards Osaka. Just as they walked towards the exit. Shintaro voice resounded: "Don't forget to inform Hangure Family, that Akujiki went missing during his mission."

The three nodded as they left.

Osaka midnight, ferry port,

Shinji holding katana basket behind his back moved swiftly towards his destination, he noticed that someone was following him, just as he neared the port, he stopped abruptly and looked behind: "Don't you think, you should greet me before following me."

Just as his voice faded, air hung in silence, he waited patiently before encountering two figure in the distance. As his eyes narrowed to observe the approaching figure, he silently calculated the possible attack. Just as the two figure appeared near Shinji, his eyes widened: "Why are you following me."

One of the two, Matsumoto draped in blood red samurai armor, watched Shinji with interest, he calmly stated: "Of course, We to came kill you"

As he withdraw his glace, He whispered: "Takanobu, stand behind me and give him a surprise attack."

Just as they took their stance, Shinji slowly bent down and pulled the basket from his back, opened the basket and took the katana in his hand. He stood up and brought katana in his forehead, exhaled deeply and continued: "I expected this scenario, the moment Shintaro brought my son in our conversation."

He knew Shintaro would apprehend him, for marrying his cousin without consoling with him and giving birth to child. But he didn't expect that Shintaro would go as far as to kill him just to bring the child back to Yamazaki residence.

Just as he thought about their previous conversation, Matsumoto appeared right at Shinji before slashing him, Shinji simply sidestepped to dodge the attack, and instead slashed all across his body in an instant. Just as he turned to face Takanobu, his fist appeared right at Shinji face before sending him flying. He crushed his katana on the ground to stabilize his body from the impact.

Matsumoto slowly stood up and threw the broken armor, took a single sword strike stance and exhaled. He hurled straight at Shinji before giving signaling Takanobu to follow at his back. Shinji himself prepared to attack before dashing towards Matsumoto. As they collided their katana, spark of flames began to generate from the sheer force of their colliding. As they began to fight with their katana.

Takanobu fist appeared right at Shinji to disrupt their balance. Shinji blocked his fist with the help of katana but couldn't withstand the impact. He was truly frustrated by the disadvantage, and sighed: "I truly didn't want to reveal my secret, but you left me no choice."

Just as he spoke, his eyes began to change color, and exhaled sharply. Watching the absurd scene infront of them, both of them froze in disbelief, Masaichi Takanobu pointed his trembling finger at Shinji eyes and spoke gravely: "Why do you have those eyes."

Hearing his question, Shinji simply laughed madly before adding mockingly: "YOU FOOL, do you truly think that only Yamazaki family owns the reverse eye, we the park family simply didn't want to reveal our abilities to others, humph."

Shinji didn't bother talking with them, in an instant he appeared infront of the two before giving a deep cut all over their bodies. Just as he was prepared for finishing the pointless battle, he sensed the danger with his heightened battle instinct. But before he could dodge, Matsumoto and Takanobu bearing the pain of deep cut, braced their body with Shinji.

"Kokuin, finish him before our body gives out"

As their voice fell, Kokuin who had been hiding the entire time appeared and pierced his katana at Shinji's chest. He coughed mouthful of blood, and turned towards Kokuin, moved his hand to grab his head. Before he could grab, Kokuin directly kicked his body and distanced himself.

"My body nearly gave out, only holding him for a second."

"He truly gave us an unexpected surprise." 

Kokuin on the side looked at battered Shinji and spoke coldly: "Let me tell you, your son has been adopted by Shintaro and will bear Yamazaki name in the future."

Hearing the news about his son, Shinji eyes began to fill with tears, looked at the sky and whispered softly: "I'm sorry, I couldn't protect our son."

As he said that, his eye lost its color and died with regret.

Yamazaki base, Present time, 

After hearing his father incident, Ha-Joon finally couldn't control his U.I. Matsumoto, who was lying on the ground finished speaking, noticed the shift of tempreture in Ha-Joon.

"Apple doesn't fall far from the tree hu-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Ha-Joon smashed his head on the ground, splattering blood all over the floor. And his eyes middle layer, once vibrant white color, flashed with deep green.

(Today's chapter has been updated. And i want to clarify some of the characteristics of MC's U.I. First, he can freely let his U.I to control his body for using martial arts efficiently and control strength accordingly, which ya'll have seen while bea- uhm i mean training gun. Second, when his emotion is uncontrollable or on the verge of dying, Oni will control his body. So, yeah MC's U.I is the hybrid of Daniel and Gun.)
