Love Between a Lunar Vampire and a Luna Witch

Chapter 9: Chapter Nine: Arrival in London

Lauren has been alive for fifteen years, during which she first bonded with her true love. Now they will reunite once more after many years of waiting. But what they don't know is that they will face many challenges together. One of those challenges will be Lauren's discovery that she possesses powerful witch magic. Her magic surpasses that of her grandfather and the numerous magical ancestors who came before her. She will also discover that there are other creatures in the world besides humans and witches. She will discover there are vampires and demons out there in the world as well. But none of that matters to either her or Matthew. All that matters to them is their love for each other. If they remain united and collaborate effectively, their love will triumph over all obstacles. Their love for each other will overcome all obstacles. More importantly, their love will also unite the races. This love extends to all races, including humans, demons, witches, and vampires.

Oxford University, London, 2009

Lauren smiled as she began to explain to her cousin Margaret just how vast Oxford University is. "You know, Margaret, Oxford isn't just a single campus; it's made up of over 30 colleges, each with its own unique history and architecture. The university spans across a large area, filled with beautiful gardens, libraries, and museums. It's like a small city dedicated to learning!"

She continued, "The libraries here are impressive too; the Bodleian Library is one of the oldest in Europe, and it holds millions of books. Can you imagine the amount of knowledge contained within those walls? And there are plenty of places to study, from cozy coffee shops to quiet courtyards."

Lauren's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Plus, the atmosphere is incredible—students from all over the world come here to learn and share ideas. It's truly a melting pot of cultures and thoughts. I can't wait to explore the campus."

Margaret nodded enthusiastically, her eyes lighting up as she listened to Lauren. "I entirely agree! The library sounds amazing, and I can only imagine how inspiring it must be to study in such a vibrant environment. The diversity of students really adds to the experience. I can't wait to explore with you!"

After a moment, Lauren said, "Shall we go and get our room assignments?"

Margaret then says, "We shall! Let's head to the administration office and see where we'll be staying. I'm excited to find out who our roommates will be." With that, the two cousins made their way across the bustling campus, eager to embark on this new adventure together.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the admissions office.

As they entered the admissions office, the warm atmosphere welcomed them.

An admissions worker smiled brightly and approached them. "Welcome to Oxford! We're thrilled to have you both here," she said. "Are you ready to get your room assignments?"

Lauren nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, we can't wait to find out where we'll be staying!"

Margaret chimed in, "And we're excited to meet our roommates!"

The admissions worker smiled even wider and said, "That's wonderful to hear! Could I please have your names before we begin?

Lauren stepped forward and replied, "I'm Lauren Anderson."

Margaret added, "And I'm Margaret O'Hera."

"Great to meet you both!" the admissions worker said, jotting down their names. "May I have your birthday?"

Lauren smiled and replied, "My birthday is December 18, 1993."

Margaret then chimed in, "And mine is May 13, 1994." The admissions worker nodded, taking notes as she engaged with them further.

The admissions worker led them to a desk where she pulled up their information. "Let's see what we have for you," she said, typing away on her computer. The anticipation in the air was palpable as Lauren and Margaret exchanged eager glances, ready to dive into this new chapter of their lives.

"Congratulations to both of you! You have been assigned to the All Souls Dorm. Your dorm number is 4J, says the admission worker.

As the admissions worker continued to type, she glanced up from her computer, a smile forming on her face. "It looks like you're both going to love it there," she said, her enthusiasm infectious. Lauren and Margaret were overcome with excitement as they imagined the adventures that awaited them in their new living space.

"All Souls has a vibrant community," the admissions worker added, "and plenty of opportunities to meet new friends and get involved." With each word, their anticipation grew, and they began to envision their future filled with late-night study sessions, shared meals, and unforgettable memories.

"Here's your class schedules," the admissions worker said, handing them a neatly organized packet. Lauren and Margaret exchanged glances, their hearts racing with anticipation. Each schedule was filled with intriguing courses that promised to ignite their passions and challenge their minds.

"Look at this! We have Intro to Psychology together," Lauren exclaimed, her eyes bright with excitement.

Margaret nodded, scanning her schedule. "And I have art history! I've always wanted to take that class."

The admissions worker smiled, noticing their enthusiasm. "You'll find that Oxford offers a diverse range of subjects, so you can explore your interests and discover new ones along the way."

As they reviewed their schedules, the girls felt a rush of possibilities. They could already picture themselves in lively classrooms, engaging discussions, and collaborative projects. The vibrant community they had heard about was beginning to materialize, and they eagerly anticipated embarking on this new phase of their lives.

As they completed the final paperwork, Lauren turned to Margaret, whispering, "Can you believe we're finally here?" Margaret nodded, her eyes sparkling with excitement. They were ready to embrace everything that lay ahead.

As Lauren and Margaret left the admissions office, a sense of exhilaration washed over them.

Then an announcement came over the intercom, breaking the moment of their anticipation.
