Luffy Twin Brother: The Monkey King

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

"Am I dead?" The young man patted his body, focusing on his lower half. Every limb seemed intact, and there were no stab wounds. Confused, he frowned. The last thing he remembered was an important part of his body being cut off—balls and all—followed by countless stab wounds. A truly traumatic end. Now, the mere thought of looking at a girl made his knees tremble.

"That you are, mortal." The voice was arrogant yet undeniably divine. It was beautiful—so much so that the young man froze, stunned by the realization that a sound could be this enchanting. He turned toward the source, and his trauma vanished the moment his eyes landed on her.

A red-haired goddess. She was perfect. The most breathtaking being he'd ever seen. Even the disdain in her gaze and the cocky smirk on her lips couldn't dull her allure. If anything, they only made her more captivating.

"I'm Goddess Valkora, and you mortals are fortunate to stand before my doorstep. Go ahead—pick your cheat for the next life. In return, when I call for you, mortal, you will answer and carry out my divine will," she declared, her tone heated with authority.

"If I may ask, what kind of requests would those be?" the young man replied, his voice careful. "I wouldn't want to fail and disgrace my goddess. I never knew such gods existed. It's an honor to lay eyes upon perfection." He gave a faint, respectful bow, and for the first time, the arrogant goddess faltered. A faint blush dusted her right cheek.

"You're right. Just seeing me is an honor," she muttered, regaining her composure. But before she could continue, the young man spoke.

"No, just hearing your voice is an honor. I never knew sound could be so lovely. But today, I learned more than that—I learned what perfection looks like. And I heard the most beautiful name ever spoken. I pity every other woman, for there can only be one true embodiment of perfection." His eyes shone with genuine awe as if he were gazing upon the most divine sight in existence.

The goddess blinked, momentarily caught off guard. When had anyone ever spoken to her like this? As a goddess, admiration was expected, and worship was routine—but this? This was… different.

She cleared her throat, a faint flush dusting her cheeks. "Cough… The request I'd give you is simple," she said hurriedly, steering the conversation back on track. "Defeat the Demon King. My world is not the perfect place to grow stronger due to… certain circumstances. So, I'll let you choose a world to train in. Once you're ready, you'll enter one of my realms, defeat the Demon King, and restore peace."

"I see. You're not only perfect outside but inside as well," the young man said, his tone sincere on top of his charming smile. The goddess froze, her composure slipping as a deeper blush crept across her cheeks. With a hasty wave of her hand, a glowing screen materialized before him.

"Pick your cheat and the world you'll go to," she ordered voice firm but betrayed by the faint tremor of flustered embarrassment.

The young man glanced at the screen. The list was overwhelming—[System], [Supreme Fire Affinity], [Ability Copy], and countless others, each more tempting than the last. But after a moment of silence, he sighed. "…Goddess, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you."

Her expression shifted instantly, a flicker of unease crossing her perfect features. "What do you mean?" she asked, frown deepening.

"How could these cheats hope to catch my eye after I've seen you? They're nothing but dust before a galaxy," he said, his tone almost reverent.

The goddess's unease melted away, replaced by an indignant pout as she tried and failed to hide the deepening blush spreading across her cheeks.

"Haha, I'm just messing with you. I've made my choices," he laughed, tapping the screen to select his cheats. But the moment he confirmed his picks, he froze, eyes widening in confusion as he met the goddess's enraged glare.

"You dare play with this goddess?!" she snapped, her anger a flimsy shield for the humiliation burning beneath. How had a mortal managed to fluster her so thoroughly?

Refusing to give him another chance to speak, knowing all too well he might say something even more embarrassing, she flicked her hand. A surge of divine energy struck him, sending him hurtling toward the massive door behind him. It swung open, and without another word, the portal swallowed him whole.

Valkora snorted, crossing her arms as she sat back down, cheeks still flushed. "Stupid mortal," she muttered, trying to bury the lingering embarrassment. But as she glanced at the portal, her smug expression faltered.

There were two doors. Her eyes narrowed. One door was supposed to lead to reincarnation. The other… She froze.

"Wait." Realization hit like a lightning bolt. "I sent him through the wrong door!" Valkora shot to her feet, panic replacing arrogance.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the portal, in a throne room bathed in soft moonlight, a small figure stirred. A loli, no older than five in appearance, stretched lazily on an oversized throne. Her long white hair spilled around her like silk, and her frilly dress gave her an almost doll-like charm.

"Ugh… Did Truck-kun send someone? Guess I overslept again," she yawned, rubbing her eyes as she regarded the mortal now sprawled on the floor before her. The young man blinked in confusion, mind still reeling from the sudden transition.

The loli goddess leaned forward, her disinterest plain. "Do you want to go to another world? It'll cost you, though. When I call, you'll come save a few worlds for me." She yawned again, already half-asleep.

"Yes." The young man nodded quickly, not wanting to risk the FBI kicking down any metaphorical or literal doors.

"Good. Pick your cheat and the world you want to go to," the loli said, satisfied. Finally, a mortal smart enough not to waste her time with pointless questions. The sooner this was done, the sooner she could return to her nap.

A familiar screen appeared before him. Without hesitation, he picked the same cheats as before but, this time chose the Naruto world.

Last time, he'd picked One Piece, thinking that if he managed to "rizz up" the red-haired goddess, she'd grant him some unique perks, making his rise to power quick and easy. But now? Naruto seemed far safer. Ninja wars aside, there was at least some sense of order there.

With a relieved sigh, he submitted his choices… And instantly regretted it.

Safe? He barely had time to process his mistake before the screen vanished, sealing his fate. Naruto was not safe. Not even close.

What if he was born a Uchiha a day before Itachi slaughtered the entire clan?

Or worse, what if he was reborn as a Uzumaki, only to be butchered alongside the rest of the clan during their extermination?

And that was just scratching the surface. The Nine-Tails' attack, the endless wars, the Akatsuki, and the casual way entire bloodlines were wiped out without a second thought. In Naruto, genocide wasn't some rare tragedy. It was practically a footnote in history.
