Martial Emperor of Blue Star, Turned into a Blood Slave Girl by a Vampire Princess

vol. 1 chapter 32 - Beg for Mercy

Degrienne was yanked violently into the darkness by the tentacle. The world spun chaotically around her.
By the time she regained her senses, her entire body was dangling above an enormous blood pool.

A thick stench of blood assaulted her nose. Degrienne coughed violently, her silver hair fluttering through the steaming, misty blood fog.
She forced her eyes open—only to see Catherine submerged in the center of the pool, completely nude.
The noble, elegant face she wore in daily life now bore a twisted, savage grimace.

More horrifying still, dozens of tentacles extended from her pale, porcelain back, thrashing madly in the blood-red water.
“Y-You old hag?!” Degrienne’s voice cracked, laced with disbelief.
Something was clearly wrong with Catherine.

Her eyes were tightly shut, her delicate features contorted in pain. The tentacles on her back writhed out of control.
The liquid in the blood pool churned restlessly, exuding an intoxicating sweetness that teased the senses and pulled at the soul.
Only now did Degrienne truly notice: Catherine’s body was… obscenely perfect—

Plump breasts rising and falling with each breath, a narrow waist flowing into wide, curvaceous hips—unapologetically “Mommy-tier.”
If he still had his old male body—if he were still Chu Zhao—he probably would’ve launched right then and there.
But now? All she could do was gape—and worse, she had to get the hell out.

“L-Let me go!” Degrienne struggled desperately, but the tentacle wrapped tight around her waist didn’t budge an inch.
She tried to summon lightning, but her inner power felt as though it were being smothered, crushed—she couldn’t even conjure a single spark.
Catherine’s eyes snapped open. Those scarlet pupils were now entirely consumed by blood-red madness—no hint of reason remained.

“Blood… more blood…”
She muttered to herself. One of the tentacles slowly lifted—its tip splitting open to reveal tender, sprouting thorns.
Degrienne’s skin crawled. She was done for.

In this state, that damned vampire hag might very well devour her alive!
Just as the thorned tip drew close—
Splash!
The tentacle whipped abruptly. Degrienne’s body flipped in an instant, her ankles caught tight—now she hung upside down in midair.

Her silver hair tumbled down toward the bloody fog, her vision spinning in a nauseous blur—until a pair of glowing red eyes entered her field of view.
Catherine tilted her head. Her dark red gaze flickered between lucidity and haze, as if trying to peer through the fog and recognize something.
“…Degrienne?” Her voice was raspy and cold, as though carried from some faraway place.

Degrienne opened her mouth to speak—but Catherine’s face twisted suddenly in rage.
“I told you—never come near this place!”
That familiar threat—that suffocating, lazy menace—returned in an instant. It was like being snapped back into the presence of the crimson queen she’d come to dread.

But Degrienne quickly realized—
Catherine’s mind was still a mess. That reaction just now? It was more like the leftover instincts of her body.
“Catherine, you—”

Before she could finish, the tentacle slammed her straight into the pool of blood!
“Glgh—!”
The viscous liquid surged into her mouth and nostrils. The coppery stench exploded in her throat.

As a vampire, this should’ve been euphoric. But the choking sensation was all too real—too vivid.
Her limbs thrashed wildly, silver hair swirling like silk in the crimson fluid.
Bubbles gurgled from her lips. Her vision blurred.

All she could hear now was her fading heartbeat—and Catherine’s chaotic murmur, echoing from above the surface of the pool:
“Disobedient children… must be punished…”
Her consciousness scattered. Right on the verge of blacking out, several mouthfuls of sweet, acrid blood surged into her windpipe.

The violent coughing that followed jolted her brain back online. A searing wave of heat exploded in her gut—and the once-smothered lightning power surged wildly through her meridians once more.
“Kh—cough, cough!!” She gagged up blood, fingertips crackling faintly with sparks.
I can’t die… I won’t die here!

She’d once felt so hopeless she chose suicide—but now? The will to live surged fiercer than ever.
Even the tiniest sliver of hope—she’d bet her life on it.
“Lightning Induction Body «N.o.v.e.l.i.g.h.t» Tempering Technique—Activate!”

With a low cry, the perfected technique roared to life.
Her silver hair floated upward, unaffected by gravity. Crimson lightning burst from every pore on her body.
The current was weak—but it turned the entire blood pool into a conductor.

“…Hm?” Within the fog, Catherine’s body shivered. The tentacle around Degrienne’s ankle loosened—just slightly.
This was it!
Degrienne seized the fleeting chance, tore herself free from the restraints, and flung herself toward the pool’s edge.

As she dragged her soaked body onto the stone rim, a horrific sound of blood churning echoed behind her.
BOOM!
Several crimson tentacles burst from the surface, lunging straight at her with deadly speed.

Without a glance back, Degrienne bolted for the black door.
“Fuck!” She dove to the side, narrowly dodging a tentacle aimed straight at her heart—though one grazed her hip, leaving a bloody gash.
Open, damn it!

Her hand grasped the handle—just as another hiss sliced through the air behind her.
In a split-second reaction, she dropped into a roll—barely evading another strike.
But as she twisted the doorknob with all her might—

Nothing.
It didn’t move at all.
Despair crashed over her like a wave.

She turned—and saw even more tentacles rising from the pool, surrounding her like a net.
“You damn old hag! Come on, kill me already!”
Even before she finished shouting, her ankle snapped tight again.

She looked down—more of that familiar crimson slithering up her leg—and then the world spun again as she was hoisted upside down, dragged screaming back to the center of the blood pool.
Catherine’s silhouette shimmered through the mist—her eternally smiling red eyes now reduced to pure, bestial madness.
“Then kill me already…”

Degrienne rasped, laughing bitterly as blood trickled down her chin.
“What the hell are you even pretending for—”
SMACK!

A tentacle lashed across her face with brutal force, snapping her head to the side.
“D-Doesn’t… even hurt!” she hissed through her teeth, lifting her chin defiantly. “G-Go on, do it again!”
The tentacle rose.

Smack! Smack! Smack!
Three rapid slaps. Her cheeks swelled with hot bruises, and tears spilled uncontrollably down her face.
She bit her lower lip hard—but still let out a muffled whimper.

“I-I said it doesn’t hurt…”
Her voice shrank to a whisper, finally breaking into a tearful plea.
“Stop… please… I’m sorry… I really am sorry…”

The tentacle hovered in midair—almost like it was admiring her pathetic state.
“I shouldn’t have come in… I should’ve just obeyed…”
She sobbed, tears mixing with blood as they fell to the ground.

“Please… Catherine… wake up already…”
Just when she thought the punishment might be over—her skirt was suddenly yanked up.
“W-Wait! Don’t—!”

Smack!
The tentacle landed on her bare ass. It wasn’t as painful as the ones across her face—but the shame hit a hundred times harder.
Her face flushed crimson. It wasn’t the first time she’d been punished like this—but every time made her want to curl up and die from the humiliation.

“Uu… stop… I really know I was wrong…”
But the tentacle didn’t listen. The shameful spanking continued without mercy.
Only when her backside swelled, glistening with bruises, and her sobs had nearly drained her strength—did the punishment pause.

Was it… finally over?
Splurt!
A tentacle suddenly skewered her shoulder.

“Aaaagh—!”
Pain arced through her body as blood burst from the wound.
Before she could react, more tentacles stabbed through her limbs one after another.

“Guh…!”
Degrienne hung in midair like a marionette, blood dripping from every limb.
Her eyes were wide, blank, her mouth spilling more red with every breath.

“Haha… ha…”
A ragged, empty laugh slipped from her throat, barely audible.
“So much for… ‘you’re not allowed to die’… barely a few days… and I’m dying in your hands…”

A dozen tentacles pulled at once, dragging her body into the pool.
Blood flooded her nose again. Her consciousness wavered.
This time… this time she was really going to die…

But just before she slipped into the eternal dark—
She thought she felt a pair of arms, soft and warm, wrap around her and pull her gently into an embrace…
