Alex Ray walked up to Harry, who looked frustrated, and couldn't help but laugh. He patted Harry on the shoulder and said, "Harry, sometimes luck is a kind of strength too. Before facing an opponent, you have to observe and understand them. Only then can you know yourself and your enemy—and win a hundred battles without fail."
Harry listened, a trace of confusion flashing in his eyes.
He still hadn't fully recovered from the match. In just a few seconds, he hadn't even had time to transform into a Kamen Rider before being defeated.
Watching Pietro walk away in the distance, Harry's heart was filled with resentment and bewilderment.
"Mr. Ray, your teammates are really strong," Harry said reluctantly.
He had thought that his power had improved greatly in recent times and that he'd be able to help Alex.
But unexpectedly, anyone around Alex Ray could defeat him with ease.
"So only the strong can stay by Mr. Ray's side... I have to keep working hard," Harry thought to himself.
Alex looked at Harry's discouraged expression and felt a twinge of emotion.
He knew Harry had great potential—he just needed more experience and growth.
So, he smiled and comforted him. "Harry, it's okay. You're still young, and you've got a long way to go. One day you'll be just as strong. Honestly, you just picked the wrong opponent this time."
Just then, Deadpool swaggered over, slung his arm around Harry's shoulders, and pulled him close.
He shot Alex a disdainful look and said, "Scram, kid. This one's my apprentice. He doesn't need your words of comfort."
Bragging all the way, Deadpool led Harry off with an arm around his shoulder.
"Harry, that was just a fluke. Pietro's superpower just happens to counter you.
If your master had stepped in, Pietro wouldn't have stood a chance. Back in the day, whenever I showed up, Pietro would drop to his knees and beg for mercy. If you train hard under me, you'll have your revenge in under three years!"
Of course, Deadpool wouldn't admit that even he might not beat Pietro—and that he'd actually been pranked by Pietro during their last mission to rescue Tony Stark.
Young Harry's eyes lit up with admiration at Deadpool's words.
He knew Deadpool was powerful. As long as he studied hard and improved himself, he was sure he could help Alex Ray one day.
So, he nodded seriously and said, "Thank you, Master. I'll definitely train hard! I want to help you—and Mr. Ray—someday!"
"I'm your master! Just help your master. Why are you always thinking about Mr. Ray?!" Deadpool snapped, hooking his arm tighter around Harry's neck.
He never understood why everyone who got close to Alex couldn't seem to forget about him.
That guy Alex Ray—other than being a bit richer, a bit younger, a bit stronger, and about as good-looking as himself—what was so great about him?
The more Deadpool thought about it, the more annoyed he got. He shook his head, trying to cast out those thoughts.
"Forget it. No point in thinking too much. At least I've got more girls than him!" He patted Harry's shoulder and whispered with a smirk, "When we get back, set me up with a few more chicks. I'll train you better."
Meanwhile, the Tobey Maguire version of Peter Parker stepped into the center of the venue. Facing a relaxed Tony Stark, he took a deep breath.
After witnessing the overwhelming strength of Alex Ray's allies, Peter felt the pressure mounting.
He knew Tony Stark was no pushover either.
Even though he was prepared, the last match between Pietro and Harry had reminded him that no battle should be taken lightly.
Determined, Peter pulled on his classic red-and-blue Spider-Man mask, bracing himself for the challenge ahead.
Tony grinned as he watched Peter suit up in the handmade costume. He joked, "Looks like your master didn't bother upgrading your outfit."
With a metallic whirl, Tony's armor auto-assembled around him, lighting up brilliantly.
Peter's eyes widened in awe. "That's so cool!"
Tony laughed proudly. "If you beat me, I'll make you a better one—for your master's sake."
Of course, Tony had no intention of losing to this kid. This was just a training match.
With both fighters ready, Jessica Jones stepped forward and signaled the official start of the match.
As the bell rang, Peter and Tony dashed at each other, launching into a fierce battle.
Tony wasn't sure how strong Peter was. Although he said he wouldn't hold back, he avoided using heavy weapons like lasers or missiles, opting for close-quarters combat at first.
He figured his Iron Man suit's melee capabilities would be more than enough to overwhelm the "little spider."
But after several exchanges, Tony realized Peter's fighting ability was exceptional—possibly even surpassing his own in the Iron Man suit.
With the combat techniques Alex Ray had taught him, combined with his Spider-Sense, Peter managed to keep pace with Iron Man, their battle evenly matched.
Everyone was watching closely. After all, this was Alex Ray's unofficial apprentice—even if Alex himself didn't acknowledge it.
Seeing Spider-Man battle Tony to a standstill, the crowd was stunned. They hadn't expected Alex Ray to be such a capable teacher in addition to his own strength.
Richard Fisk, Kingpin's son, walked up to Alex and said eagerly, "Bro, teach me too! I wanna be as strong as Peter!"
Alex smiled and replied, "A lot of your brother's fighting skills came from your father. Ask him. I wouldn't dare train you myself—he might beat me up."
Kingpin himself stepped onto the sidelines, watching the intense battle unfold with a satisfied glint in his eye.
He came up to Alex and clapped him on the shoulder. "You little punk. You've really grown up. Now you're even teasing me. You taught him well. In a few years, I might not be able to beat that little spider anymore."
His voice was filled with both pride and admiration.
Alex Ray muttered inwardly, "Please. Even without me, Peter could take you down. Well—before you got that Devil fruit."
In many parallel universes, Spider-Man and Kingpin had a long-standing rivalry, each winning and losing in turn. But now that Kingpin had eaten the Devil Fruit Alex had given him, Peter wouldn't stand a chance without some kind of enhancement.
Seeing Tony still holding back, Alex shouted from the sidelines, "Tony, don't worry—go all out! Peter's got thick skin. He won't die!"
Upon hearing that, Tony let go of his reservations and—
