Chapter 258: MD-Chapter 257 Reunion with Parker

Natasha had given Arthur two maps: one detailing the defensive layout, including troop deployments, security forces, and surveillance systems, and another showing the location of the research facility - and the exact location of "Abomination."

For Arthur, "Abomination" was an indispensable combat asset.

During the Battle of New York, he had spent most of his time in the air, leaving little opportunity to use the Abomination. But now he couldn't leave it in the hands of those research institutes. Who knew what those scientists might do to that simple-minded creature?

While organizing the information on the map, Arthur began to plan his infiltration.

By now, breaking into any place on Earth was a trivial task for him. With instant teleportation, the Eye of Horus, and his shapeshifting abilities, there was no place he couldn't get to.

Still, Arthur went over the details meticulously to make sure nothing was left to chance.

"Others may falter, but I can't afford to be the next one."

After spending two hours devising a foolproof plan, Arthur wrote down another note: ''Loki's magic staff…''

"The Mind Stone must have fallen into Hydra's hands, but isn't it a little early for that?"

After the Battle of New York, there was supposed to be a considerable amount of time before events like "Iron Man 3," "Thor: The Dark World" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Exactly when Loki's staff ended up with Hydra was never explicitly stated. All that was clear was that by the time it did, the Age of Ultron was already looming on the horizon.

"Hmm, their research shouldn't be progressing that fast," Arthur muttered to himself while rubbing his temples. "There's still time. The only reason we uncovered this so soon is probably because I preemptively tipped off Natasha and Steve about Hydra. It's all a chain reaction. But... there's no way Ultron could surface so quickly. How can I nip Ultron in the bud?"

This was a crucial question.

While Ultron's robot army could potentially serve as excellent fodder for his Disassembler, it wasn't worth risking the creation of a monstrously powerful AI.

"The Ultron in the movies was already significantly weakened. If this is the comic book version of Ultron... then what?"

Arthur pondered. "And this world I'm in can't be defined by the movies alone. Loki, for example - his fighting skills against Thor or others seemed average at best, but when he fought me, he was full of tricks and incredibly difficult to deal with. That could be explained by his reluctance to go all out against Thor, but Ultron? He wouldn't hold back. One misstep could lead to "total annihilation.

Arthur couldn't afford to take that chance.

So, no matter what, Ultron must not come into existence. He had to eliminate any possibility of its creation from the start.

"But what about Vision?"

Arthur blinked. Vision was different from Ultron. "We'll see. If I can avoid it, I will."

Then he wrote down two more names: ''Scarlet Witch'' and ''Quicksilver.''

Tapping his pen against the paper, Arthur muttered, "I need to make sure these two exist. As soon as I have concrete information, I'll rescue them immediately... As for what happens after that..."

After a moment of thought, he sighed softly. "I will have to decide based on the circumstances at that time. For now, the main goal is clear - rescue them first."

Slapping his face lightly, Arthur closed his notebook and stowed it in his Disassembler space. He stopped thinking about it and sat cross-legged, entering a meditative state.

---

The next morning, when Arthur opened his eyes from meditation, he received a message.

The sender... ''Peter Parker!

After finishing breakfast, he got into his car and drove to another location.

Half an hour later, Arthur picked up the young Spider-Man, who was sitting on a railing, and sped off into the distance.

"This is cool!"

Parker sat in the car and looked around. "Instructor, did you get rich?"

"I am not doing too bad for myself" Arthur replied. "You know, a lot has happened since then."

Parker nodded. "Yes, a lot has definitely happened."

"Like the prime time drama starring your family?" Arthur teased.

Parker couldn't help but laugh awkwardly. "Why does it feel like every chance you get, you use it to make fun of me?"

"It's just too entertaining. So how's your girlfriend's father treating you these days?"

"Still the same..." Parker sighed. "On the one hand, he's doing his best to keep Gwen and me apart, and on the other, he's using my real identity to threaten us."

"And you haven't backed down?" Arthur looked surprised.

"Of course not! I should meet the challenge head on!" The Young Spider-Man declared, "If I can't even protect my true love, what else can I protect?"

"Well said!"

Arthur nodded in agreement. "Keep up the fight, young man!"

"Ugh..." Parker sighed deeply.

"Something on your mind?"

"Probably just growing pains," Parker admitted. "You know, my parents have been gone since I was little. And later... Uncle Ben too."

Arthur fell silent.

"It's okay," Parker said. "Honestly, I've mostly gotten over it. So much has happened over the years that I've learned to let go. I suddenly feel like forgiveness might be the hardest thing to achieve. If I ever catch that guy, I'll still make him pay, but I won't be as naive as I used to be.

"It's great that you feel that way."

Arthur patted his shoulder. "Everyone grows through pain. None of us are exceptions."

"But now the same thing has happened to my friend."

Parker looked at Arthur. "My friend's father died recently. You probably saw it on the news, didn't you? That thing with Oscorp..."

"Huh?"

Arthur froze. "Who?"

"You've even asked me about him before - Norman Osborn," Parker said. "He passed away recently. I visited Harry yesterday. Fortunately, things haven't changed too much. He's still the same. I want to help him, but I don't know how."

Arthur fell silent.

Parker's words made Arthur feel a mixture of emotions. He had almost forgotten - the Spider-Man he was dealing with was the 'Amazing Spider-Man' version.

After facing the Lizard in the first movie, the second movie introduced two villains and even resulted in Gwen's death.

As things stood, Gwen was still alive. The events of the second film had not yet fully unfolded - there was still hope for change!

"Still, why does it feel like..." Arthur muttered to himself, confused. "The gap between these two events seems wider than I remember."

"What are you talking about?" Parker suddenly pointed to a group of policemen outside. "Hey, you think they're trying to stop us?"

"Huh?" Arthur blinked. He didn't have a license!
