In Room 1609, metal shifted back and forth under Erik's control, blocking several attacks and eliminating one beast after another that had transformed from tattoos.
"Heh."
The woman laughed softly.
Children are still children; they simply don't have the courage to kill.
"Switch!"
At that moment, both Erik and Charles spoke simultaneously.
The woman froze for a moment, sensing something was wrong.
In the next instant, Charles used his powers to control the woman in front of him.
The predators in the room vanished instantly, and Erik, with a wave of his hand, transformed the metal into chains, binding Walker.
Walker snapped back to reality, seeing the scene before him and letting out a startled scream.
Charles' eyes flickered, and he quickly knocked the woman unconscious. Erik, still uneasy, tightened the metal chains, and only then did they turn their attention to the man named Walker.
"Who are you?"
Walker, now calm, stared at the two children before him with a sinister glare.
"Heh, the kids you captured send their regards!"
Erik sneered, his hand slowly tightening, causing the chains to constrict around Walker.
"Ah!"
The man screamed in pain. "What are you talking about?"
"Still pretending?"
A cold, murderous gleam flickered in Erik's eyes as the chains grew tighter.
Charles, sensing Erik's shift, reached out to grip his arm and said, "Let me handle this. He won't have any secrets in front of me."
Erik snapped out of his thoughts, and with a thought, loosened the chains.
"Ha… ha…"
Walker gasped for breath, feeling as though he had come close to death.
This kid had nearly crushed his throat just now.
However, these two kids were truly powerful. If he...
"Controlling both of us? You'd be rich, wouldn't you?"
The thought echoed in Walker's mind, but Charles immediately voiced it aloud.
Walker froze, staring at Charles in shock.
Charles gave a slight smile and replied, "Nice idea, but you won't get the chance."
With that, an invisible surge of psychic energy flowed toward Walker, entering his mind to control him and search for the information Charles wanted.

*In Room 1610.*
"No!"
Tony, now completely exposed, screamed in terror, scrambling toward the corner of the room as fast as he could.
"Don't run. You're already naked, so why not let your beastly nature take over? How about it?"
A woman, dressed only in underwear and with her upper body exposed, slowly approached Tony, a gleaming knife in hand.
But what terrified Tony even more than the knife in her hand was the hidden blade she carried.
Damn it!
What's going on?
Looking at the woman's face, which was even more delicate than most women's, but with a chest that could rival his own, Tony was terrified beyond reason. He even shuddered thinking back to the near encounter in the dark, where he almost...
"Ugh!"
He almost vomited.
The woman stiffened, her face darkening as she glared at Tony. "I'm going to kill you right now."
Tony took a deep breath, stood up from the floor, and quickly wrapped a towel around his waist. "Why do you want to kill me? What do you want? Money? How much? A billion? Ten billion?"
The woman's eyes flickered with interest, but she quickly shook her head. "Killing you will still bring in a large sum of money."
"Then tell me—who wants me dead?"
Tony asked as he backed away.
"Think about who you've angered recently."
The boss licked his lips, looking at Tony with unabashed scrutiny, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
Tony's mind raced through a list of potential enemies, but he came up empty. The list was simply... too long!
"Once you're dead, I'll be able to have some fun."
The boss's smile gradually twisted into something deranged. He had a habit of dismembering his targets.
Initially, he'd planned to use his unique desires to make a quick profit off Tony, then kill him and pocket another sum. But now, it seemed the situation had become both unfortunate and unexpectedly simple.
Tony shuddered at the words, his mind conjuring unsettling, inappropriate images.
This is too much.
At that moment, the boss suddenly took a step forward, and the weapon in his hand flashed coldly as it cut toward Tony's throat.
Tony stumbled back, but the boss kicked him hard in the chest, sending him flying.
His chest throbbed with pain—he was no match for this guy.
He hadn't learned any combat skills. So far, he'd spent all his time in the lab.
If I make it out of here alive, I swear I'll learn some fighting techniques!
Tony swore to himself as he bitterly watched the boss, who was grinning and closing in.
Not again…
"Die!"
The boss sneered, lunging at him.
Tony screamed in panic, spinning around to run, but then grabbed the towel around his waist and hurled it at the boss's face like a weapon.
Taking advantage of the moment, Tony bolted toward the door. As the boss tore the towel off and gave chase, Tony threw the door open and rushed out.
Just then, the door to the room across the hall opened unexpectedly.
Tony's eyes lit up. He leapt forward and tackled Charles, who had just stepped out, sending both of them tumbling into the room.
Charles and Erik were momentarily stunned, and Tony quickly turned, rushing to shut the door.
But before his hand even reached the doorknob, a hand shot in, gripping it firmly.
"Run!"
Tony yelled, his voice hoarse, as he struggled against the door, desperately trying to keep it shut. He turned to Charles and Erik, shouting, "Get out of here!"
Charles and Erik, still on the floor, stared blankly at Tony before they quickly backed away.
"Uncle, not only are you unpleasant, but you're also a pervert?"
"A milk delivery pervert?"
They couldn't help but make sarcastic comments.
Tony twitched in frustration. "Move it! Someone's trying to kill me!"
"You didn't pay him?"
"Are you the third party?"
The two kids began to gossip, ignoring the dire situation.
Tony swore that if he had the time, he would teach them a lesson they wouldn't forget.
Also, where did these two little punks learn to talk like that?
In the next moment, the door, which had been locked in a standoff, was suddenly yanked open. Tony dashed for the escape, grabbing Charles and Erik along the way.
"Ha, you can't run."
The boss stepped in, slamming the door shut behind him. He looked at Tony with a wicked grin. After scanning Erik and Charles, he coldly remarked, "Remember, these two kids will die because of you."
Tony positioned himself between the kids and the boss, his pale face twisted in bitterness, mentally preparing for a final stand.
No matter what, he couldn't let these two kids die because of him.
If he had to, he'd hold off the boss long enough for the kids to escape.
With that resolve, Tony let out a yell and charged at the boss.
Seeing the situation unfold, Erik and Charles froze for a moment, squinting as they watched.
It was almost unbearable to watch.
"Bang!"
Tony was kicked in the chest, and he slid across the floor, crashing right in front of Erik and Charles.
Both of them stared in silence before speaking in unison. "Uncle, you're really bad at this."
"Enough talking, I'll hold him off—run!"
Tony pushed himself back to his feet.
"Ha, die already!"
With a mocking laugh, the boss closed the distance in the blink of an eye, his knife aimed directly at Tony's chest.
