MARVEL: GOKU BLACK

Chapter 17: ASGARD

Well, I think it's time for me to go too," said Goku.

He left McDonald's and walked until he felt no presence, then teleported to his room.

"All right, now what am I going to do? I don't have any missions," muttered Goku.

[MISSION OBTAINED]

[MISSIONS 0/3

TRAVEL TO ASGARD

DEFEAT THE DARK ELVES

GET A FAVOR FROM THOR

REWARD: 1,000,000 EP]

[HIDDEN MISSIONS 0/2??????

"Wow, this reward seems very juicy. Asgard, huh? Sounds like a good place to try out my new transformation. The plot of Thor: A Dark World, System has already begun," said Goku.

[That's right, Host. This battle is necessary because you will be able to face divine powers, increase your roster, and earn many points.]

"It makes me think you only want the system points," said Goku with a raised eyebrow.

[...]

"Anyway, if I remember correctly, I think I got the pass to Asgard," said Goku as he searched his inventory.

"Here you are," he said when he saw the card.

"What do I do? Just tear it up or what?" said Goku.

[That's right, Host. When you tear it, you will be transported to ASGARD.]

"All right, it's time to go on an adventure," said Goku as he tore the card.

For a moment, he felt an energy begin to envelop him, and then he disappeared into thin air. He noticed that it was almost the same as Bisfrot but more efficient, without damaging the ground.

"Wow, you really do have a good view of space," said Goku.

As he left, a certain soldier arrived at his apartment. He entered stealthily and began to search for any sign of the target. After searching the rooms and not finding him, he deduced that he was not there. He went out in search of his target, but what he did not know was that Goku would not arrive quickly.

While Malekith rejoiced in the incipient darkness of the Aether, the shadow of HYDRA loomed over Midgard.

In Asgard, the golden twilight began to tinge the skies above the Palace. Heimdall, stationed at the Bifrost Observatory, frowned. His all-seeing eyes had detected an anomaly. It was not the controlled opening of the Bifrost, but a massive, forced intrusion of energy.

At that moment, with a sonic boom that shook the observatory's foundations and a flash of dark violet light, Goku Black materialized.

He landed with deadly grace on the Bifrost disc, his dark suit fluttering in the residual wind. His eyes scanned the vast Asgardian landscape, from the floating cities to the imposing golden palaces. The air itself seemed to vibrate with his power.

Heimdall, with his sword Hófud already on guard, stood guard.

"Intruder. You have violated the space of Asgard. Identify yourself!" His voice was very loud.

Goku Black slowly turned toward the guardian, a smile on his lips. The mark on his forehead pulsed with a faint light.

"Intruder, yes. But not for long. I know you will need my help." He raised a hand and pointed toward the dark horizon, where the primordial energy of the Infinity Stone was beginning to make its presence felt in the distance.

"I'm here for the Dark Elves. So I hope you don't do anything to make me angry," Goku said in a threatening tone.

Heimdall felt a wave of overwhelming power emanating from him, an energy that was dark and familiar at the same time, as if it were linked to the same force as the demons.

This being had not only arrived without the Bifrost, but also knew the threat that Asgard was about to face.

"What are you? How did you obtain that demonic energy?" demanded Heimdall, without lowering his guard.

Goku Black simply smiled confidently. "A question for another time, guardian. Now, where are those Dark Elves? My time is valuable, and I have a reward to claim."

Without waiting for an answer, he propelled himself into the air as he flew directly toward Odin's palace, leaving Heimdall with a mixture of amazement and deep concern.

"Wait!" Heimdall said.

He knew it would be a problem if the King of All was spoken to like that. Goku Black's arrival was not a request, nor a negotiation. It was a declaration of intent. Asgard, the majestic city of the gods, had welcomed a new and formidable warrior into its impending conflict, one who answered to none of its rules or deities.
