Chapter twelve:

Oh crap. I can't let him die. He doesn't deserve that and if I did let him the other Avengers would never forgive me. Agent Barton has a family now. I can't leave them without him. I quickly sent my red chaos magic out and caught the bullets before they could hit Agent Barton. Pietro looked sad but not surprised as he gave me a slight nod before he ran off.

Agent Barton turned in shock as my blood magic missed him and caught the bullets that was about to hit him. He quickly shot the guards knocking them out or killing them. I'm not sure which. Agent Barton then looked at me.

"I can't go with you but I don't want to hurt you and I can't let you go inside." I said.

Agent Barton looked at me as I was hovering the bullets in the air. I then dropped them to the ground. He then took a step back.

"You are confusing." Replied Agent Barton. He then turned on his com unit.

"Male mutant is friendly and doesn't wish to hurt us. Though he won't let me through the main door so find another way in." Said Agent Barton.

He then turned around to look at me once again. "Why are you here if you don't want to fight?" Replied Agent Barton as he just looked at me in confusion.

"My brother, he wants revenge and I couldn't let him come alone." I said and I had no reason to lie to him.

Agent Barton's eyes then widened. "The fast one, he is your brother?" Replied Agent Barton and I just nodded at him .

"Why does he want revenge?" Said Agent Barton.

"For what happened to us, to our parents... A Stark bomb." I replied slowly, trying not to cry as tears went down my face.

I knew that it was going to happen but still.

Agent Barton seemed to have understand. I then calmed myself down as he nodded at me. "He wants revenge on Tony Stark?" Said Agent Barton.

"Yes. A Stark bomb killed our parents and my brother said that he stole our childhood." I replied sadly.

Agent Barton then nodded at me.

A bomb then exploded nearby, reminding us where we were at. "I understand, is that why you won't come with us?" Said Agent Barton.

"Yes, while I don't want to kill or harm anyone. I want to protect my brother no matter what." I replied.

Red mist then surrounded me as I looked around us. Sensing another Avenger nearby.

"Alright I understand. You won't leave without him. I don't doubt we will see each other again." Said Agent Barton before he walked away.

That was interesting. I then took a deep breath and Agent Barton respected me which was a good start. I then heard a commotion as they found another in.

I then heard shooting inside and turned to the door, I then ran inside and followed the noise. I saw Captain America and Thor facing off against Hydra.

"Travis! Mind attack now!" Said Baron Von Strucker angrily.

The Avengers then turned to me as I felt pressure fill me. Is now the time to betray the Avengers?... I mean I could just run with Pietro after, I don't think originally they escaped with Hydra... I looked between the two sides unsure.
