Chapter 44: (The death of Agent Barton.)
Chapter forty four:
"We'll be right back." Rhoedy whispered to us.
"Be careful." Replied Natasha before she hugged him.
"Good bye Nebula." I said before closing the hatch.
"This isn't like Budapest." Replied Agent Barton.
"What happened in Budapest?" I said while looking at Agent Barton.
"That's not funny at all." Replied Natasha.
After a few minutes we had arrived at our destination.
"According to Nebula, these are the coordinates." I said before moving forward.
Agent Barton and Jean Grey followed right behind me.
"Welcome Jean Grey daughter of John, Agent Barton son of Edith, and Travis son of Olek." Replied Red Skull.
Agent Barton took out his weapon, while Jean Grey I summoned our powers.
"Who are you?" Said Jean Grey.
"Consider me a guide, for you and everyone else who seeks the soul stone." Replied Red Skull.
"Ok, tell us where it is." Said Jean Grey.
"Too bad it's not that simple, the soul stone in exchange for a soul." Replied Red Skull.
"You mean, someone has to sacrifice themselves?" I said and Red Skull just nodded at me.
The three of us just looked at each other.
(Morag.)
"So we're just waiting for this Quill guy?" Said Pietro Maximoff.
They hid behind a rock for minutes until a person came in dancing and singing. Rhoedy then looked at Nebula.
"He's a jerk." Replied Rhoedy.
"My sister had a very bad taste." Said Nebula before she knocked Starlord out.
"You're not just going to walk in like that?" Replied Rhodey.
"I've seen enough movies to know there's a trap in there." Said Nebula before she grabbed the power stone with no problem at all.
"I wasn't always like what you see." Replied Nebula before they activated their suits and disappeared.
(Vormir.)
Agent Barton, Jean Grey and I fought over who was going to sacrifice themselves.
"I'm not losing you guys." Said Agent Barton.
"I don't have anything left to live for, let me do it." I replied.
"No, I have to do it." Said Jean Grey.
I then used my red chaos magic to knock her down and ran towards the cliff, but I never made it.
Agent Barton had hit me and left me in a state of exhaustion, giving him time to tie me up and run after Jean Grey. My screams echoed throughout the place, Red Skull was fascinated, while the other two fought over who would sacrifice themselves.
"Let me do it, I want to do it." Said Jean Grey.
"You have a lot to live for Jean, I don't." Replied Agent Barton.
"And what about me?" I said.
"I have to do it, let me go." Replied Agent Barton.
He then said goodbye to the both of us and let go of Jean's hand before jumping off of the cliff.
A light then blinded Natasha and I, and then we appeared in a small lake. I then looked at Jean Grey as she was holding the soul stone.
"Why didn't you let me jump?" I said.
"You have a lot to live for Travis." Replied Jean Grey.
"So did Agent Barton." I said before standing up and we both returned home.
"Where's Agent Barton?" Replied Bruce Banner but Jean Grey and I just remained silent.
Two hours later, Bruce Banner was explaining to us how we could bring everyone back. Before he grabbed the glove.
"Bruce, are you okay? Can you continue?" Said Steve Rodgers.
Hulk then fell to the ground and moments later, Scott Lang went to the window.
"Hey, check this out." Replied Scott Lang, but no one went to his side as a ship destroyed the Avengers base.
"We need help, or we're going to drown." Said Rhodey.
"Go with them, I'll look for the glove." I replied before lifting the wall off of him with my red chaos magic.
I then heard Pietro Maximoff say that he has the glove and we all went to go find him.
