Chapter 49: (The birth of Scarlet Warlock.)
Chapter forty nine:
Vision ran out of the library and reunited with the children. Pietro stood by after helping the kids with Director Hayward and the S. W. O. R. D agents, having powers of his own.
"Jean!" Said Billy Maximoff as he hugged her.
Jean Grey and Pietro then looked up to see Agatha Harkness and I battle each other.
"Take it! I don't want it anymore." I said before shooting a ball of my red chaos magic at Agatha Harkness.
I kept blasting my red chaos magic at Agatha Harkness, not caring that doing so was also transferring power into Agatha Harkness. Jean Grey noticed that, and flew up to assist me.
Before she could reach me, I looked down a beam of my red chaos magic at her. It formed a red force field that kept Jean Grey from getting closer and pushed her back down to the streets.
"Travis? What are you doing?" Said Jean Grey.
"Come on, Travis!" Replied Agatha Harkness.
I kept tossing my orbs of red chaos magic at Agatha Harkness, occasionally missing and hitting the hex barrier that surrounded us. We both flew in the sky, with Agatha Harkness trying to avoid some attacks but willing to get hit in order to absorb my powers.
Jean Grey then flew back down and embraced the kids with Pietro beside her. They all looked up and watched the battle.
"Come on, Travis! Escape your fate! Release your burden!" Said Agatha Harkness.
I noticed that my hands were becoming black, but I didn't care. I charged up another ball of red chaos magic and hit Agatha Harkness with it.
Agatha Harkness then absorbed my powers. "There's more. I want it all." Replied Agatha Harkness.
I grunted as my face became pale as well. I threw more red orbs, expelling my red chaos magic. Agatha Harkness opened up her arms and almost drained all of my red chaos magic.
I levitated into the sky, my head bowed down as I felt weak and drained.
"Dad!" Said Tommy Maximoff as he began to cry.
Agatha Harkness felt elation as she felt the red chaos magic within her. She then began to smile.
"About our deal... once cast, a spell can never be changed. This world you made will always be broken just like you." Replied Agatha Harkness.
Agatha Harkness threw her arms open and prepared to attack, but no red chaos magic came from her fingers. She tried again, but it still didn't work.
Thunder then began to rumble within the crimson red sky and dark clouds. I raised my head and looked at Agatha Harkness as my skin went back to normal. I then raised my hand, and flicked my wrist to show Agatha Harkness the glowing runes that I engraved on the walls of the hex.
"Runes?" Said Agatha Harkness.
"In a given space, only the witch who cast them can use his magic. Thanks for the lesson." I replied.
Agatha Harkness looked at me, fear starting to show in her eyes. Now there was nothing she could do.
A red crown formed on my head as I spoke to Agatha Harkness. "But I don't need you to tell me who I am."
"No. No. No. No!" Said Agatha Harkness.
My eyes glowed red as I extended my hands and began to drain Agatha Harkness's purple dark magic, also regaining my red chaos magic and then some. Agatha Harkness cried as it was being taken away from her.
Crimson red energy energy engulfed me as I levitated into the sky and took the power. Within the blanket of the red chaos magic, I conjured a dark red robe and black sleeve gloves. This completed my new alias.
The Scarlet Warlock.
"Oh, God. You don't know what you've done." Replied Agatha Harkness.
My eyes still glowed scarlet red as I used my powers to revert the sky back to normal. I then flew back down to the ground. And Agatha Harkness looked up, seeing the Scarlet Warlock gracefully touch down in front of her.
"Good boy. So what now? You just gonna lock me up somewhere?" Said Agatha Harkness.
"No. Not somewhere. Here." I replied.
"Here?" Said Agatha Harkness.
"Mmm- hmm. I'll give you the role you chose. The nosy neighbor." I replied.
Agatha Harkness then took a moment to realize how cruel the punishment was. The be stuck in that persona for God knows how long. It would be torture.
"No. Please." Said Agatha Harkness.
"I'm sorry." I replied in a carefree manner.
"No, your not. You're cruel." Said Agatha Harkness.
"You... you have no idea what you unleashed. You are going to need me." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"If I do, I know where to find you." I said.
"Wait. Wait, wait, wait!" Replied Agatha Harkness but I touched the side of her face and reverted her back into her Agnes persona.
"Hiya hon. Say, that's some kind of get up your wearing. Did I leave the oven on, or is it just you, hot stuff?" Said Agatha Harkness.
"You live here now. No one will ever bother you." I replied.
"Okey dokey, artichoke." Said Agatha Harkness.
