Chapter fifty eight:

After walking all the way to the Westview mall, I ordered a corn dog for Agatha Harkness and I after Teen said that he wasn't hungry. We all then sat down at a table before Teen started to speak.

"Do you see her? Do you know what she looks like?" Said Teen.

"She's a blood witch." Replied Agatha Harkness.

"And a blood witch is?" I said before looking at her.

"The child of a witch." Replied Agatha Harkness.

I then nodded my head at her before drinking my fanta.

"In this case her mom was a witch and also a famous goddess of rock." Said Agatha Harkness.

"Lorna Wu? As in Lorna Wu and the Coral Shore?" Replied Agatha Harkness.

Teen had learned everything about her do to her being his favorite artist.

"Take it easy Teen." I said.

"She wrote the most famous version of the ballad. I've always wanted to go to a concert. I bid on a limited edition signed LP of the ballad, but it cost more than I make in a whole summer at the Hokey Pokey Bowl." Replied Teen.

"I don't wanna hear those words paired together again." Said Agatha Harkness as she shook her head.

I then sighed before eating the last of my corn dog, and heard a squeak.

Slowly turning around, I saw a rat looking at us.

"Ew, a rat." I said before using my red chaos magic to throw it across the mall.

"That's much better." I replied.

Agatha Harkness then stood up. "Let's go." Said Agatha Harkness.

Teen and I looked at her as she walked away.

"What?" I replied.

Teen was right behind Agatha Harkness as I looked down at the food.

"You're just gonna leave it here?" I said.

I then looked around to see if any was around us, before using my red chaos magic to throw it away. Then ran after them.

After entering the music store, the three of us looked around, looking at the guitar's and drums until we reached the glasses section.

I then took a pair of star shaped glasses before putting them on.

"You think that we're gonna find Lorna Wu's daughter at the Westview mall?" Replied Teen.

"I feel like she'll be somewhere cooler, like Brooklyn or a yacht." Said Teen.

I then followed them as they were doing a terrible job at being stealthily.

"Rumor as it Lorna Wu was lost to the witches road." Replied Agatha Harkness.

I then started to get intrigued. "What?" I said.

"I know. Ironic." Replied Agatha Harkness.

"More like. Iconic." I said.

"Dad, I know I have a aesthetic. But can I get something?" Replied Teen.

I was about to say something when I saw Agatha Harkness put something into his pocket.

"Run." Said Agatha Harkness.

"Run?" Replied Teen.

"Run!" Said Agatha Harkness.

Immediately Teen began to run as the alarm went off, and was tackled by Alice. I then looked at Agatha Harkness.

"Alice Wu Gulliver?" Replied Agatha Harkness.

Alice then looked at her. "I'm Agatha Harkness, and this is my familiar Toto. We need a Protection Witch to join us on the witches road. What do you say?" Said Agatha Harkness.

I then shook my head and crossed my arms.

"What?" Replied Agatha Harkness.

"Gulliver!" Said a guy as he approached us.

Alice then helped Teen to his feet.

"Sir, this woman just tackled my nephew!" Replied Agatha Harkness.

"Did you just tackle a teenager?" Said the guy.

"Yeah, I saw them steal something." Replied Alice.

"No, he didn't touch anything. Check his pockets. Check me." Said Agatha Harkness.

Agatha Harkness then looked at me for help.

"He didn't do anything." I replied.

"Your old lieutenant told me to give you a shot, but you've been nothing but bad luck. You're fired." Said the guy.

I was expecting that to happen, so I felt bad for Alice.

I then walked over to Agatha Harkness.

"Really making someone loose their job?" I replied.

"It was a lame job anyway." Said Agatha Harkness.

"It was her life, and you didn't have the right to take it from her." I replied.

"Well I'm sorry. I'm truly sorry." Said Agatha Harkness.

Alice then walked out of the store, and Agatha Harkness followed her.

"What divine intervention is this? You're out of a job and we're walking the witches road today." Replied Agatha Harkness.

"People like you are dangerous." Said Alice.

"Agreed. But the witches road?" Replied Agatha Harkness.

"The witches road isn't real. You groupies don't get it. It's just a stupid song." Said Alice.

"Yeah. But what if it isn't? What if you could finally answer the question that has been haunting you most of your life?" Replied Agatha Harkness.

"What happened to your mom?" I said before catching up to them.

"She's a tough nut to smash." Replied Alice before walking away.

"I didn't even get to give her the address." Said Teen.

"We don't need her. Come on." Replied Agatha Harkness.

(Later on that day.)

The road back to Agatha's house was supposed to be short but the silence made it long.

"We have a hour until sunset." Said Teen.

"Are you sure you two are witches enough?" Replied Agatha Harkness.

"How far away is the road? Like drive time?" Said Teen.

"Where are you from?" Replied Agatha Harkness.

"Don't ask him that." I said before looking at her.

"Me?... Originally? I mean... I was born and raised in Eastview." Replied Teen.

"You can't hear him?" Said Agatha Harkness as she looked at me.

"Nope." I replied before shaking his head.

"Then I woke up in this weird house. Turned out Travis Maximoff found me and took me in, adopted me and everything. He's my dad. It's good to know each other a little bit." Said Teen.

But known of us could hear him.

"Travis be a dear and drive faster." Replied Agatha Harkness.

"Okay." I said before driving faster.
