Chapter 64: (Lillia's trial.)
Chapter sixty four:
The four of us have been walking for what felt like hours, my feet began to hurt, Alice's head had stopped hurting, Agatha Harkness was holding onto me for dear life, while Billy was trying to read her mind.
"You'll get a nose bleed trying that hard to read my mind." Said Agatha Harkness.
"I'm not." Replied Billy Maximoff as he started to look away.
"Oh, okay. You can just ask me your questions. Out loud." Said Agatha Harkness.
"Uh, where's Rio?" Replied Alice.
"Not that question." Said Agatha Harkness.
"Why can I read your mind?" I replied.
"Maybe because I wanted you to." Said Agatha Harkness.
"Any queries for your old babysitter?" Replied Agatha Harkness.
Billy Maximoff just shrugged so she tried again.
"I'm your dad's ex friend." Said Agatha Harkness.
I just rolled my eyes at her. Billy Maximoff then walked over to me and grabbed my other hand.
"Did you really die?" Replied Alice as she looked at me.
"I'm right here. But, no I didn't." I said.
"Did anybody see a body?" Replied Alice.
"Uhh, Wanda threw a temple on herself." Said Agatha Harkness.
"Did anybody else perhaps?" Replied Alice.
"America Chavez, Wong and Doctor Strange did." I said.
"Come on mom, we need straight answers, what about you Agatha?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"Hey, you want straight answers, ask your dad." Said Agatha Harkness.
I just smiled at her, as Billy Maximoff and Alice looked away. We all then stopped inside of a castle.
"That's different." I replied before looking at the new trial.
"The witches road is a fickle Travis Maximoff." Said Alice.
"Well this one better be quick and easy." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"Last one there is not a witch." I said before running.
Agatha Harkness, Alice and Billy Maximoff looked at each other. Before they started running after me.
All of us then began to laugh as we entered the castle and we were all out of breath.
"Woah that was fun." Replied Billy Maximoff as he started to catch his breath.
"Woah." Said Alice as she looked at herself in the mirror.
"Mulan is a classic. I loved the live action but the cartoon is better." I replied looking at Alice.
"Classic." Said Billy Maximoff as he looked at himself.
He was Maleficent from Maleficent, I then looked at Agatha Harkness and she was green.
"Oh, you're green." I replied before pointing to her face.
"Oh! She's, based on me you know." Said Agatha Harkness.
"Wait who am I?" I replied before looking at my custome.
"You're." Said Alice before she looked at Billy Maximoff.
"You're a god?" Replied Agatha Harkness as she looked at me.
I then walked over to the mirror. "What the hell!" I said.
"Dad!" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"I'm sorry, but seriously I'm Hades." I said.
Alice and Agatha Harkness then looked at each other.
"The Norse god?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
I just shook my head no. "The Greek god." Said Alice.
"I've been in a spell for three years. And I don't watch cartoons." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"It's not a cartoon. It's actually a pretty cool movie." Said Billy Maximoff.
"Doesn't matter who are you?" Replied Agatha Harkness.
After looking at our customs Alice walked over to a table.
"Guys, do you think that this is important?" Said Alice.
"Your path winds out of time." I replied.
"It's tarot. I know this, kind of." Said Billy Maximoff.
The hourglass then turned upside down.
"Uh, okay." Replied Alice as she looked at the hourglass.
"I'll read for you, I guess." Said Billy Maximoff as he looked at Agatha Harkness.
"No time like the present." Replied Agatha Harkness.
Billy Maximoff then took a card before reading. "The Horse Drawn Carri." Said Billy Maximoff.
"The chariot? It's literally written on the card." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"Right. So, obviously your leaving somewhere behind, and you have these sphinxes with you, and they represent your... Your... mysterious." Said Billy Maximoff.
"You have a real gift." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"This card hasn't really come up much for me." Said Billy Maximoff before he placed the card down.
A sword then fell to the floor.
"Okay, where did that come from?" Replied Alice.
"Uh, Alice?" I said before pointing at the roof.
"Well that's not concerning at all." I replied sarcastically.
Billy Maximoff then grabbed another card. "I'll try another one. Seven of swords." Said Billy Maximoff.
"At least your on theme." Replied Alice.
"I know this one. It's about deception and betrayal. But it's reversed. So that means the opposite. You're being truthful? Well, that can't be right?" Said Billy Maximoff.
Billy Maximoff then placed the card down and another sword fell down.
"Uh, my turn." Replied Agatha Harkness.
Agatha Harkness then took a card. "Tarot is a con like any other. There's no magic to it. There's no skill." Said Agatha Harkness.
"That's not true. It's about institution. Knowing which card to pull." Replied Billy Maximoff.
"And it's about interpretation, divining their meaning." I said.
"Eenie meanie miney mo!" Replied Agatha Harkness before she grabbed another card.
She then slammed it on the table and a sword fell down.
Agatha Harkness then grabbed another after another, but more swords began to fall. Agatha Harkness then placed another card before a sword fell in front of Billy Maximoff.
"No!" Said Alice before she blasted him with her magic.
"This is a numbers game. We keep at it until we get the right card's. In the right spots or the ceiling runs out of swords." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"I'm not sure how much math you did back in Westview, but that will take forever." Said Billy Maximoff.
"We still have time." Replied Alice.
Just then the table started to move and we all looked up, to see the swords starting to fall.
"God, I wish that Lilia was here." I said.
Everyone then looked at me. "What? This is clearly her trial." I replied.
