Chapter 68: (End of the road.)
Chapter sixty eight:
It didn't stay dark long, and suddenly I was moving, yet I couldn't move, not until I saw a flight that pushed me out of the way.
Billy Maximoff.
That was who caught my eyes at first.
"Dad!" Said Billy Maximoff with a smile on my face.
I then looked down to see that I was in a hospital gown.
The next person that got pulled out was Agatha Harkness.
"What in the hell?" Replied Agatha Harkness.
The next was Jen. "Ugh!" Said Jen while getting out of the bag.
I then turned to the empty space beside me, waiting for Alice to arrive but she never did.
"Where's Alice?" I replied.
Agatha Harkness just shrugged. "Maybe the witches road doesn't need her anymore." Said Agatha Harkness.
Billy Maximoff then looked at her. "Then how did we get here?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"The shoes." I said.
"Where are we?" Replied Billy Maximoff while looking around.
"Uh." Said Agatha Harkness before she started to look around.
"Oh. My basement." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"We are?" Said Jen before running up the steps.
"There's not much of a earth vibe in here." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"Theirs no place like home." Said Agatha Harkness before getting out of the bag.
Before she even hit the ground I slapped her on the face.
"Ow!" Replied Agatha Harkness.
"You can yell at me all you want. But never. Ever. Yell at my son." I said before my eyes started to glow red.
Agatha Harkness then nodded her head at me.
"Good." I replied before smiling.
Jen then came back down the stairs. "It's sealed." Said Jen.
We all then sighed, there was no getting out of this one.
"These are grow lights. Are we supposed to grow something." Replied Jen.
She then looked at Agatha Harkness and I.
"In a place with no soil or water? It certainly has irritating of the witches road." Said Agatha Harkness.
She then started to look through the body bag. "But we do have our own personal effects." Replied Agatha Harkness.
We all then ran to our body bags, and started to rummage through them. I didn't have anything that I cherished but somehow I found a necklace.
"Uh guys?" I said before grabbing the necklace.
"Dad it's probably just your necklace." Replied Billy Maximoff.
I then looked at the necklace, it was certainly not mine.
I then took it out of the body bag and put it around my neck.
"See, it's yours dad." Said Billy Maximoff.
"How's your spell book?" I replied.
Billy Maximoff then looked through it and saw black marks on his spell book.
"It's worthless." Said Billy Maximoff before he threw it back into the bag.
The draws then retracted to him. "Well, the road agress." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"And now we have our countdown." I said.
How were we possibly going to get out of this?
Agatha Harkness then looked at Jen. "You seem relaxed. Usually at this point you're complaining or freaking out." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"I'm thinking." Said Jen.
"Oh. About what?" Replied Agatha Harkness.
"How to save your ass." Said Jen.
"Pardon?" Replied Agatha Harkness.
"I couldn't save Lilia. And I didn't even try to save Alice. I'll be damned if I let you idiots die." Said Jen.
"Wow. Such purpose." Replied Agatha Harkness.
I then shook my head before joining them.
"How are you going to do that without magic?" Said Agatha Harkness.
"Woah. Woah. Woah. Jen saved us from being poisoned." I replied.
"Maybe you don't need it." Said Billy Maximoff.
"Well, if that's true then I wasted the last century of my life. The doctor in Boston didn't take anything from me. I gave up." Replied Jen.
Agatha Harkness then froze. And I started to read her mind.
"What did you do now?" I said before looking at Agatha Harkness.
It didn't take long for Jen to figure out what she was doing.
"Agatha?" Replied Jen.
"Nothing." Said Agatha Harkness before looking at her.
"Dad what's happening?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"I don't know but let them figure it out by themselves." I said before grabbing his hand.
"What?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"No, I just never knew you passed through there. That's all." Said Agatha Harkness.
"Are you the one who spell bound me?" Replied Jen.
"I don't know!" Said Agatha Harkness.
"What?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"You non stop psychopath. You kept me like this for a hundred years?" Said Jen.
"I didn't know it was you in the 1920's. I did the odd spell for bank notes. I don't know." Replied Agatha Harkness.
Jen then grabbed Agatha Harkness by the hair.
"Why are you doing this... Look at where we are Jen." Said Agatha Harkness.
"The unbinding ritual." Replied Billy Maximoff.
I didn't have a clue what was going on but looked at them.
"I deny your power over me." Said Jen.
"Atta girl. Good for you." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"You hold nothing." Said Jen.
Agatha Harkness then began to cry the more she heard.
Jen was then lifted into the air before falling to the ground. Jen then looked at her hand's, conjure her pure magic.
She then disappeared. "What happened? Where did she go? She was just there." Said Billy Maximoff.
"Agatha." Replied Billy Maximoff.
"The witches road gave her what she wanted. And now she's gone." Said Agatha Harkness.
"This can end right here, right now. I came here for power. You two have power. Juice me up." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"Is that all we mean to you, Agatha?" I said.
"So you get what you're missing and we're left here to rot or worse. You take all our power." I replied.
"Travis I won't!" Said Agatha Harkness.
"Liar!" I replied.
Agatha Harkness just looked at me... She didn't want that dark purple magic. Maybe the witches road already gave her what she needed. A family.
"Both of you sit down." Said Agatha Harkness.
"Why?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"We are going to find your brother." I said.
"What?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"That's what you want, right? Tommy isn't waiting out there. Not in a body, anyway. That's why Rio Vidal got in such a tizzy. She knows you could do it for him." Said Agatha Harkness.
"Do what?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"Give him another life. Another spin around the dance floor." Said Agatha Harkness.
I then looked at her. "You think that we can bring Tommy back?" I replied.
"I don't know how I did it." Said Billy Maximoff.
"You never do. But it's time to grow up." Replied Agatha Harkness.
