Chapter seventy four:

Today Jean Grey and I were going out with Ororo Munroe and Pietro. Let's just say Jean Grey wasn't happy about the whole idea. I woke up early and Jean Grey was still asleep. Natasha was smiling as she slept. She was mumbling something in her sleep so I moved closer to see what she was saying.

"Travis." Said Jean Grey.

I then shook her trying to wake her up. Jean Grey just smiled at me.

"I heard you moaning my name." I replied before smiling at her.

"You did. You want to know why?" Said Jean Grey before she started to kiss my neck.

"You about ready to go?" I said teasing her.

As we were getting ready you could tell Natasha was nervous to go.

"Do we have to do this?" Replied Jean Grey.

"No you're not guilt tripping me with those eyes of your's. It's not for either of us it's for Ororo. We both owe her big time so you're just going to have to deal with it." I said.

Jean Grey then wrapped her arms around me. "You know you're incredibly mean when you get annoyed and tell me what to do." Replied Jean Grey.

"Jean I'm not falling for that. We are going and that's the end of it." I said.

"Fine but I'm not talking to you for the entire day." Replied Jean Grey.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" I said.

"I hate you Travis." Replied Jean Grey before she kissed me gently on the lips.

"Yeah, yeah whatever you say Jean. Now come on." I said.

We then went to meet up with Ororo Munroe and Pietro.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." Replied Pietro.

Jean Grey was about to punch him but I quickly grabbed her by the arm. "Relax he was joking." I said.

"And you don't be a ass today." Replied Ororo Munroe.

Pietro then put his hands up in surrender. Natasha then pulled up out front. Pietro got into the car and left me to open the door for Ororo Munroe. He seriously had no manners.

"What?" Said Pietro.

"Seriously?" I replied.

The car journey was awkward so Natasha turned on the radio. I then started to sing along quietly as the different songs came on. Ororo Munroe then smiled at me.

"I like hearing you sing. Have you sang for Jean yet?" Said Ororo Munroe.

"No he hasn't. As soon as I try to he stops." Replied Jean Grey.

"You should sing for her on her birthday" Said Ororo Munroe.

"That's a good idea. What song though?" I replied.

"I'll help you look for the right one. You need to find the one that explains the way you feel about her." Said Ororo Munroe.

"Thank you." I replied.

We then pulled up in the parking lot. As soon as we stopped Jean Grey opened the door for me. Jean Grey just smiled and grabbed my hand. Jean Grey and I just looked at Pietro until he did the same for Ororo Munroe. We then walked into the bowling alley and got a lane for the 4 of us.

Jean Grey then tried to pay but I got in front of her and paid for it.

"You're annoying but I'm paying for dinner afterwards." Said Jean Grey.

"You know that you love me." I replied before grabbing her hand.

Starting to put names on the machine I decided to have some fun.

For Ororo Munroe I put Storm, for Jean Grey I put Phoenix, for myself I put Warlock, and for Pietro I put Speedster. The rules were that we couldn't use our powers.

Ororo Munroe was absolutely atrocious at the game as she never played before. Pietro was such a moron he didn't take the time to show Ororo Munroe how to bowl. When Ororo Munroe went to the bathroom I walked up to him.

"You are being the worst date ever. You didn't open the door for Ororo. You haven't taught her how to bowl. Did you even pay?" I said.

"Of course I did. I'm really messing this up aren't I?" Replied Pietro.

"When Ororo comes back and it's her go offer to help her. As soon as we leave open the door for Ororo. When we get to the restaurant to the same thing." I said.

When they came back Jean Grey just smiled at me. Ororo Munroe was next up so Pietro did what I taught him to do.

"Did you have something to do with that?" Replied Jean Grey.

"Maybe." I said.

"I'm proud of you." Replied Jean Grey before she kissed me gently on the lips.

When we got to the restaurant I was happy as I won at bowling. The place wasn't too fancy which was good. And Pietro even paid for Ororo Munroe.

When we got back to HQ we thanked Ororo Munroe and Pietro for the extra company.

Jean Grey and I then got back to our bedroom and sat down on the couch. Jean Grey then climbed on my lap before kissing me long and passionately on the lips.

"What is this for?" I said.

"For being the perfect boyfriend." Replied Jean Grey before she kissed me long and passionately once again.
